Sad to see how it has been let go...Best part of the trip was jet skiing to all of the other Pearl Islands. Season 7 of Survivor was filmed in the Pearl Islands and the crew stayed on Contadora Island. Back in '96 we paid $648CDN from Toronto for an all inclusive 7 day stay! Best deal ever! Great video....just came across it 3 years later...
Wow I agree. Trip down memory lane. We may have met each other at the resort. We went 8 times over 10 years. The SeaDoo trips were a lot of fun. Brought a tear to my eye to see this amazing resort abandoned
Carlos Arango actually died in Louisiana whilst serving a life sentence for killing Barry Seal who was about to testify in a case against Jorge Ochoa. He was Griselda Blanco's hitman. He died in 2015.
Hi. Thanks for watching. If I remember correctly, there are two ferry companies: 1. Ferry Las Perlas, and 2. Sea Las Perlas. They are essentially the same, and they leave from the same dock. I believe we bought our tickets beforehand on their website a couple of days in advance.

I struggle to seer the objectivity of this person wearing RUclips baseball cap, I have lived on Contadora for 15 years, many of his comments are great and positive, but supposedly knowing the island on a 2 day vacation! Is not always a fair reflection of reality. Would they like me to review their life and place they live?
