Actually, if you go back, you'll see that when sylass and delilah are walking past the mirror in the halway, only delilah is visible in the reflection. He's a vampire she's a necromancer
Thats sick, didn't even notice that detail. I could already scope out the Vampire one but the necromancer definitely stumped me until she did necromancer things lol.
1:55 -- It's a codpiece; back in the day, a noble wasn't properly dressed without one! You can find oil paintings of nobles where he's proudly displaying one. Of course Scanlan's matches the Pride flag. 6:37 -- Cringe? Scanlan?? Either way, you gotta admit it was a cool song -- when I first heard it it, I couldn't get it out of my head for weeks!
Yes this is based on an epic dnd campaign so most of the time the cool shit is them getting a critical hit or Nat 20 and the fuck ups are bad rolls or Nat 1. I’m really glad they kept the game beats in the story mad props to the screenwriters and directors working with the Critical Role team.
Yeah that's super cool, I been wanting to try out DnD but that's a whole ass commitment if you get the right people. would probably still do it though.
@@nnofs My husband and I have been using Roll20 to play when we’re not running our own hombrews. There are plenty of one shots, campaigns built specifically to be done quickly in a few hours instead of days if you want some experience but not the commitment. But getting a good gm whose patient with a new player is not always easy. As an avid dnd player myself I always recommend giving it a try because it can be super fun! If you want to learn more about the game there are plenty of RUclipsrs that cover the rules and basic game play but I always found just watching a session to be the best way to learn. Obviously Critical Role is a big name but I also like TFS Natural Wonders especially because one of there players is new and they help him learn throughout the campaign.
Yeah I would probably have to get something set up that would be cool. I'll probably look into it at some point, I appreciate all the info. Will have to check out the rules and all that!
when this happened in game it was fairly close, although Vox Machina was stronger in the game than on the show. But Vax got trapped in the room with the Briarwoods, got bit and escaped. The Briarwoods dropped him to unconsciousness, and his player Liam gave this epic speech, talking about his friends and especially his sister (almost making Laura Bailey cry!) and asking Pike's goddess to watch over them. It really was a pivotal moment for the livestream.
Fun fact the belt that turned into a snake wearing a eyepatch is named "Simon" (The One-Eyed Trouser Snake) aka Snake Pliskin on stealth missions.
Episodes 1 and 2 are the pilots.
Welcome to the actual show 🙂 you are in for a treat.
I’m Happy to start watching 🫡

10:04 That right there, is what we like to call "No mercy Percy"
Makes sense 😂 bro did not care until Uriel showed up.

Damn, seems that’s something crazy to cut out. Though idk how much it would have added.
