    Dave,
Thanks. This video clarifies the use of the GenFill panel and makes Tony's e-mail more understandable . Excellent presentation.

Yes this was very helpful and made using the percentages much clearer and I like the tip at the end where you clicked on the cross arrows to move something you generated. Thanks Dave!

I finally understand what the percentages are all about, allowing me to make a reasoned choice instead of randomly fiddling around with them until I get a satisfactory result. Thanks Dave.

Excellent explanation and demonstration . I now get it . I would love it if Tony could bring out a stripped down version of TK9 ..maybe TK9 pro to get rid of the buttons that are for already very easy things to do in PS .. your panels look incredibly cluttered otherwise and difficult to ‘see the wood for the trees’.

As usual Tony makes an add-on that should be in Photoshop by default. Gen fill works 100% better with this panel, I wasn't really using it before as the results were so disappointing.
Nicely demonstrated in the video too, it always makes me want to use it more!

Another great video and very informative. Im still not sure about generative fill other than for removal of things. I have some ethical issues regarding adding things, but it is a great creative tool. I see stock photography websites reject any generative fill usage when uploading to their sites

Nice tutorial, Dave. I've been playing with the panel and it is really a fantastic tool. Thanks to Tony for making it available to us for free! Very generous indeed, Tony. Thank you.

Great tutorial! Thanks! Just one thing: I thought the right group of trees didn’t blend in completely with the rest of the image.

Hey, Dave, I couldn't help noticing that you did not activate the 'intersect' command which you highlighted in your Sep 20, 2023 tutorial, TK GEN FILL PANEL (A Powerful Tool for Adding Elements to Your Images) - was there a reason for that? Best wishes.

That really does clarify those percentages. I had ignored the panel up til now thinking I didn’t need it. Is there a way the same thing can be done with the original generative fill?

  • @lewlarson6882

Great tutorial Dave. Really helpful. I thought the trees and sky on the right side had a stronger color cast than I would have preferred. After accepting that generation is there a way to cool that just a tad?
    Thanks,
    Lew

I would use the TK9 plug in for Photoshop and find a mask to isolate that color and remove it, probably a color mask. It can definitely be done.

The just brought higher resolution to Firefly, it is still in beta but I expect it to be coming to Photoshop in the near future.

Haven’t played with the gen fill box yet, but would the opacity slider deliver the same results?

    • @TonyKuyper
      @TonyKuyper 11 месяцев назад +2

No, the opacity slider does not provide the same results. The percentage buttons are blending the original image with the generative fill content in an entirely different manner.
