I didn't find Dublin itself amazing, but the trips to doolin, Galway, shannon, kinvara amazing. the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and I loved the cliff of moher.
Dublin it's so amazing, I really wanted to visit. but the Irish are very far away from my home Indonesia :( But I will continue to strive to get there. and I'm sure one day I can go to Dublin. Amin.. Visit Dublin is My Big Dream :) thx +Clara Baez Morandi for share this video :*
I love visiting Dublin and it's surrounding areas with the DART or the Luas within minutes from the city. Don't go to the pubs in Temple Bar as it's a tourist area and just take a little walk where you can drink or eat like a local off the beaten track. when I get off the Aer Lingus plane the first thing that I always do is get an welcome to Dublin pint of Guinness at the airport. I'm back in the beautiful Irish capital on next Saturday morning for a few nights away staying in the generator hostel for a few nights and I can't wait.
I'm from south of france and I wait to come back in Irlande for more than 4 years now!! But after so long, I'll be in Dublin in october and for (I hope) a year or more. Your video help me to wait until then!! thx you so much for that !
Really good quality video and nice points those ones you highlight. Preparing to go visit and isn't too many nice recent videos. Me encanta que seas una Latina mostrando tu amor por tu segunda patria. Como expat tambien reconozco los amores y desamores de vivir lejos de la madre patria. Muchas gracias! Thanks a lot!
im moving here next month! im so excited but also sad that w covid i wont be able to have the same experiences as soon.. regardless i love this video !!
have to like it's where I'm from, I haven't been to these mad places she found, you can't exactly walk everywhere, there are few pedestrianized areas and we can j walk not illegal. you should do a part 2 there lots more great places to show, glad you like my home.
This video is awesome! I have always wanted to do something similar based around Dublin because (as you well know) it's great! Instantly subscribed, all the best X
Thanks for this Clara! I'm moving to Dublin in 2 weeks and am very nervous! This gives me hope! Would you be able to give any suggestions on how to find accommodation?
Hi Amna, Oh that's so cool! You'll love it for sure. Of course! The most common website to find accommodation is www.daft.ie/ I have to say it's not super easy & quick - depending on what you're looking for. But don't feel disappointed if it takes a little time to find what you want. Feel free to ask me other stuff! Why are you moving there?
Clara Baez Morandi oh lovely! thanks ill have a look there. I also sent you an email too. not sure if you got it or not (sent it on artfetch email). I'm moving there for my love. hope it'll all work out in the long run :)
best part of Ireland by FAR!!! lowest suicide rate in the country and it shows in its people they are very upbeat and happy, great culture, atmosphere, people, rated 3rd friendliest city in the world
+Clara Baez Morandi unfortunately it has become increasingly elitist to live here with the working class people of Dublin being priced out of their own city and county and having no choice but to move down to other parts of the country where houses and property are ALOT cheaper Dublin is increasingly becoming a city and county for the rich, great video by the way x
Hola Clara! Me mudo a Dublín pronto.
Te va a encantar!
I lived in Dublin 1999-2001. Your Dublin is somewhat different from mine. I enjoyed it at the time but in hindsight I remember it as dirty, smelly, a bit racist and full with drunken people. I'm happy and sure of that your Dublin gives people something nice to explore and see. All the best to you and your colourful Dublin!
of course we have racism but every country has racism but the racism I've seen is banter like an Irish guy (me) going up to Africans in my old school and saying wats up nigga and they laughed. but I have seen terrible people saying terrible things to certain groups of people in ireland but that's everywhere. no offence intended.
I would love to live here, I am from Romanian, but I live in USA, What is it like living in Dublin, Ireland, is it hard to get a job in Ireland, are people friendly, do you make friends easily in Ireland, are they racist towards Romanies, Is it a tech, engineering economy, what is the cost of living in Ireland, is there a homeless issue. What is there to do in Dublin, Ireland
DONT GO TO DUBLIN!!!! IF you're thinkin of visiting a European city, I would highly recommend countless others over Dublin, trust me...I used to live in it. The only two things its good for are nightlife...if you want be around 1000's of highly intoxicated people OR if you're an animal lover... the Zoo is quite good. Other than that the place is an absolute dump, the streets are filthy, terrible traffic, homeless everywhere, more than likely to be pissing rain... even in the summer! Try Barcelona, Prague, Berlin, Paris,Brussels, Rome, or pretty much any other city! Cheers
Well its population is almost 2 million people... So I for one consider it a rather sizeable city.. the population of Dublin is 3 times the size of my city (Belfast).. According to something I read about the US City standards a small city is between 50 thousand and 300 thousand, 300 thousand to one million in population is a regular city and a large city exceeds 3 million.. I have been to Dublin and I thought it was huge, especially compared to my city...
I guess it´s a small city compared to the other ones I´ve lived in, then. Or compared to other countries´ capitals I´ve been to. Thank you for the insights :)
Well yeah I guess it depends on where you take your comparisons from.. Ireland is a much smaller country than Spain.. infact wider Madrid has more inhabitants than the whole of Ireland.. 6.489 million (Ireland 6.378 million) I take my comparisons from the UK because the part of Ireland I live in is actually part of the UK (confusing I know) Dublin is only smaller than 4 cities in the UK.. (London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester) so that's why I think it's relatively large..
Ian Ah here Ian, as far as capital cities or even major cities in general, it is small. But it's what makes Dublin more unique. As a Cork person i shouldn't say this but Dub is a nice ol' city really :p
Honestly its an incredibly boring place. (Born in upstate New york). Its more like an overgrown town rather than a city. I guess its nice if your a hipster and you feel some kinda of artistic vibe for shitty run down buildings with graffiti all over them, but in all honestly its depressing. I've lived in Durban in south Africa and Gold Coast in Australia, now they're cities. And the people here in Dublin kinda act like sheep, they never think for themselves and have no individuality they seem to go with the crowd, pretty much everyone is a hipster wannabe
I think that's a pretty closed minded view of Dublin, part of its beauty is that it's so small and yet still so packed full of culture and energy. You could just be looking in the wrong places, because even those shitty buildings with graffiti add to the diversity of the city. I think it's pretty great that it's not as big as New York or Sydney probably one reason why the people are so amazing (and not definitely not sheep) I'd encourage you to open up to different kinds of beauty, but each to their own
+Darren Caulfield I currently live in New York 5 months now and hate it.The people are ignorant and rude and just two weeks ago i witnessed a man beat his girlfriend as she went out the door crying with a suit case full of cloths and the homeless rate is through roof.

Dublin is not a small city, try walking from tallaght to kilbarack or from Blanch to city centre.

Your legs would die
BELIEVE ME, I WAS AN IDIOT FOR DOING IT.
+Gypar Aj Exactly. I know this but she apparently doesn't, saying that Dublin is a small city.

thank you :)
I've been there before were you were cycling and I am from dublin any way
Cool :)
Are you sure it’s not Melbourne?
Dublin is not a small city anymore, I'm afraid. What you really meant is the centre is compact and easy to get around, but outside goes on forever,
But that's not the city. That's the suburbs, the county.
@@Daisy-ct3nh Most city centres are relatively small. When people talk about city sizes they usually mean city plus suburb.
