Hi, sorry for the very late reply. That's the reason I've sold mine. Some spare parts are very hard, if not impossible to find nowadays. For engine parts you can ask your local bmw motorcycle dealer or join the facebook group "Husqvarna 449-511 Owners Group".

have the sm's got a different box on them compared to the TE's?
SMR449/511 and TE449/511 are identical engines, except for the piston/bore diameter.
