you can fuse already fused plants btw. an example is that you can add a peashooter to the wallnut chomper and the result from that can be added with a cherry bomb chomper. theres so many layers to the fusion in this game

Cattail is pretty much irrelevant in this game due to the sheer number of zombies in later waves, unless you're playing on lower difficulty, then it's decent
Tip: you can combine the peashooters 4 times, cherry wall nut counters the explosive newspaper zombie, you can combine plants with gift, you can get more powerful plants by beating the challenge, it's the second map in the tombstones, pick the first one with chomperzilla as an icon.
That Chomper-nut (yes, I'm giving them names😂) has a great animation. Bro's dunking in for food. Also, Metal Peashooter having a slight knockback is really based! I wonder if the knockback affects the Gargantuar. And finally, the entire concept of this game (fusing plants like some mobile idle fusing game) is some god-tier big brain!😂😂😂
Tip: if you use gift on a repeater or Gatling pea, it will turn them into their cherry variant Basically if a plant/mushroom only have one more fusion left, it is guaranteed to turn into it Another tip: the newspaper cherry can be nullified by an explode-o-nut because explosions heal them Edit: ok apparently in the latest version it will either turn them into snow variant or cherry variants
Little tip If you combine a fusion of the same plant but one is the jalapeño and the other Ice shroom it will give you an obsidian version It's best for spikerocks and tall nuts

CodexHd I recommend you get the peashooter cherry bomb in the challenge menu(bottom of adventure mode button). You need to beat the 3 challenges tho and you can use the cherry bomb peashooter while in the challenge(if this makes it easier).You can get it by combining a regular peashooter and 2 cherry bombs❤
Awesome that even after the end of PVZ Hybrid here is a mod with the same concept but lets you customize the plant 🪴 combinations yourself making it even cooler.

You can use the Glove to turn Repeaters into Gattaling Peas AND you can use the present on a plant to get a random fusion, so possibilities have expanded by a MILE with just those 2 items…
btw a few things: - most fusions are world-exclusive, which means that night-time plants can only combine with other night-time plants and so on (ofc some exceptions include being able to fuse peashooter, sunflower and wallnut with puff shrooms and such) - considering you got the game from squanch community i decided to check it and they supposedly do have a more updated version than the one you have currently (its just that they decided to call it "super hybrid" because they got fooled by a fake website thats called that) (tho idk if i'd recommend it since its not official and there's currently a situation going on with fusion but i aint stopping you lol) - the zombie with a diamond ! as armor (idk what its actually called) doesnt actually spawn a random zombie it just goes from diamond to gold to iron to conehead
Dont forget you can place gifts over a plant to get a random combination for it I recommend doing it on the random plants you get that you cant combine yet
if you place the random box on the plants, it will upgrade that plant, like peashooter into reapeater into split pea and then into gatling pea, you can upgrade gatling pea for a few time as well
You have really old version of this game. In latest version theres roof levels and fullscreen. Also, you can press 3 for slow motion. This allow you to quickly place cherry bomb first, and than sunflower on top for single explosion.

I've noticed that u got the pool update based on the game title screen, but the current version is the fog update and also a roof is being worked on, also there are these challenge levels that give u super plant fusions, just like pvz hybrid. (I zombie also exists in this mod)

do the minigames and unlock all the ultimate fusions, they are easy to beat since you get free ultimate in the level and you can also fuse more, using the glove you can manage each line or just fuse more of the ultimates, i alr beat the whole game ( its not completed yet) so ask me anything
puff shroom in this mod is special. you can stack 3 puff shrooms on 1 tile. to make sunshroom you will need puffshrooms and sunflowers. you can also have multiple sun shrooms on 1 tile. i wont spoil the rest (ps. snow pea is ice shroom + peeshooter)
If you want to get the explosive peashooter then you need to fuse peashooter (not repeater, peashooter exactly) with cherry bomb and then another cherry bomb, and if you fuse peashooter three times you will get a split pea, and you will get gatling pea if you fuse peashooter four times, or two repeaters. And about presents: you can place presents on plants and like that you can fuse these plants. it's still more fun to play than pvz hybrid since fusing ur plants manually is pretty cool.
