Hard disagree. No offense to the VA, he objectively did a great job as far as voice acting goes, but Lance's voice in Be afraid was better suited. The confident show off thing is probably how he was back when he and Ceris were an item, before deciding to conquer the end. But this episode clearly shows he's grown beyond that. He's basically an Iron willed, Admirable Sociopath with vision and ambition for The End. As such, I genuenly think his calmer, slightly ominous voice from Be afraid fits better overall. I mean, sure your voice kinda changes over Time and I assume quite some Time has passed between this episode and Be afraid but still. It's as if Darth Vader still had his Anakin voice After Episode III. It's not that one voice is better than the other, it's just that one fits better at a given point. My opinion ofc
@@laguet93I’d say both of them work. Lance here, is younger compared to the episode Be Afraid. This VA does give the vibe of him being younger. If Rain uses the first VA in the original series, it’ll work well.
The deeper lance voice from be afraid make him sound cunning, manipulative and wise, which works well since he can’t really do anything physically anymore, while this VA works well for the young, ambitious and cocky lance
I think the choice is great. As about 200 years passed between this and Be Afraid. His voice must have changed since then. Here, he is young and reckless. In Be Afraid his voice indicates more wisdom behind it or at the very least, experience.
As a fellow Void Lord, I appreciate the attention of detail and the quality of this animation, showing the alien nature of the inhabitatnts of the End. Especially loved the way Lance told his intentions of torturing the Riftblade, when he captures her. Truly eldritch Horror!

@@Grigl1337 Unfortunately, the WOTEK series and its final events have already been shown. Lance will be defeated and banished to Overworld, Ender's Watcher Island will be moved to a distant lands of ender. Yes, a lot of characters may die, but given that even the Ender Lords as characters are now revealed as much as some random background Ender soldier, it's hard to empathize with them. It's still same universe with the Fractures, but there's nothing to predict. The Fractures events, unlike WOTEK, don't have a fixed ending yet, and exploring the future of this universe is much more interesting.
Rain, you've outdone yourself, and the nostalgia still hits just the same. I know I sound like a little kid, but I feel almost tearful when I think of this series, and I feel inspired even to become like Rain. Not the undead bit, but a hero, someone who can change the tide of war. And if you ask me, war is coming, and I can only hope people like Rain rise up and help. Thank you Rain for being a great animator, keep up the work and stick true to your style :)
It's crazy to think, that this series started with a boy struggling to survive and now we get to see the history of this magical world. This first episode was nothing less than amazing. The music, the lines, the story, the animation, the characters; everything was just breathtaking to watch and I can't wait to see this series unfold what else the end has to offer and where this war is gonna lead it to. Oh and of course I'm looking forward to see more of our favorite Lord of the Void Islands in the future as well 😉. Hearing him talk like a total psychopath and how brutal he actually can be makes me want to see him have more epic scenes. 😈 I really hope this series will get all the attention it deserves. Changing up the mood/pacing of season 2-3 might make it less hype, and too many females might feel too unnatural and silly, but it works. Plus, we will be getting a ton of male characters in the next Ender War episode, as well as for season four.
This series being made is truly incredible. I always saw a force being the protectors of the gates and man they were represented well. Air, magic and ground putting up one hell of a fight.
I have to say, you’ve crafted a very interesting world with just as compelling characters. I also appreciate you brought back King Naues and the Nether Princess because I felt like they still had more to show. Good to know you don’t waste your characters, Rain.😁
This animation was amazing. I’m so glad we got the first episode of War of the Ender Kingdoms. Let’s hope we see Sora, Skylor, and Dystopia again in future episodes. Maybe Sora can join the Ender Watchers as one who survived the Kingdom Purge along with others.
I was not expecting this in depth of a world for the Ender Kingdoms, I really love the idea that they were once so diverse but when we meet them in the main series they seem to be only endermen with a few exceptions. I'm gonna love watching how this unfolds and how it all ties back to the main story.
This was mind-blowing! Skylor is a badass, that much was clear. And didn't expect to see Elise survive her previous encounter, thought she was someone else. Lance truly was a threat for the End Kingdoms! Loved every ounce of this! If one episode is so great, this series will be awesome! I also heard this series will explain cross-breeding with humans! Can't wait for that!

Now that Rain is out of college, he is able to pit much more effort than before into his animations. He even talked about remaking the first season since it is the choppiest in terms of lore

The concept of a race of beings from the void reminds me of a story I came up with a while ago. It’s about a race of individuals called Voidwalkers. They are creatures of the void with immense power, and have black wings to allow them to fly. They where both feared and respected, to the point where the majority of the Overworld thought of them as monsters. Despite this, many of them where peaceful, but they where collectively all but wiped out, with only a few survivors remaining. It’d be really cool to see a character like that in this, I love your work!!!

TBH a good headcannon for this series is that the people of the End have a love for the overworld and its people for the beauty and possibility that they can represent.
well they also didnt want the nether to be conquered either. i would mostly say there isnt really a need to fight the overworld or the nether as it would jsut be a waste of time , man power and resources when they have everything they need and want in the end and not only that the end is prosperous and at peace there was no strategic gain to conquering the other dimensions outside of just doign it for the hell of it.
Find it funny that the guy who wrote the song for this also voices Naeus. Naeus having a musical number with all the previous nether kings like Glutton, or faction leaders or generals would make for a funny short

We are finally able to see the backstory of how the Ender Watcher was created and what happened to the End Dimension before the Purge happened. Now we are also able to know Lance's backstory of how he became a Rouge Ender Watcher
Im glad this project is actually happening, but the way you all are doing it makes me fall in LOVE with it. Michael Zekas is an amazing voice actor, with or without the echoing effects,the community is coming up better and better ideas every week and not to forget the amazong musicians providing songs that are more fire than the Nether itself. This is something that, no matter how legendary these are, The Struggle or Cold as Ice just cant compete with your current products Rainimator, and Im looking forward to the next years that are yet to come. ❤

Lizzy always makes a series more exciting and emotional, her voice has so much power and I'm glad she is still voice-acting after Aphmau kind of canceled her Minecraft series. A classmate of mine back from 6th grade introduced me to this channel and now I love this channel so much. This series and all of your videos so far have been amazing and I'm glad there are still some people still doing Minecraft animations even tho Minecraft on RUclips has died down sadly 😭 This video is amazing, well done with the music and storyline! This is truly a masterpiece.

This is so AMAZING! Im now really invested in this series, I love how the music really goes with the animation, like theres the right amount of pause and just letting the voices of the characters carry unlike in which the usual animation where the dialogues have to make way and adjust to the music

I know it's coming later, but I still feel for Lance being able to see how war like the nether it truly is and just seeing how the other Lords could never see that he tried to stop it from happening but in the end he failed, and the end was eventually destroyed by the very enemy and the ignorance he tried to stop so long ago.

The concept of a race of beings from the void reminds me of a story I came up with a while ago. It’s about a race of individuals called Voidwalkers. They are creatures of the void with immense power, and have black wings to allow them to fly. They where both feared and respected, to the point where the majority of the Overworld thought of them as monsters. Despite this, many of them where peaceful, but they where collectively all but wiped out, with only a few survivors remaining. It’d be really cool to see a character like that in this, I love your work!!!

TBH a good headcannon for this series is that the people of the End have a love for the overworld and its people for the beauty and possibility that they can represent.
Could also be that humans and these end people likely have a common ancestory which makes them more like distant relatives too.
well they also didnt want the nether to be conquered either. i would mostly say there isnt really a need to fight the overworld or the nether as it would jsut be a waste of time , man power and resources when they have everything they need and want in the end and not only that the end is prosperous and at peace there was no strategic gain to conquering the other dimensions outside of just doign it for the hell of it.
Find it funny that the guy who wrote the song for this also voices Naeus.
Naeus having a musical number with all the previous nether kings like Glutton, or faction leaders or generals would make for a funny short

Im glad this project is actually happening, but the way you all are doing it makes me fall in LOVE with it. Michael Zekas is an amazing voice actor, with or without the echoing effects,the community is coming up better and better ideas every week and not to forget the amazong musicians providing songs that are more fire than the Nether itself. This is something that, no matter how legendary these are, The Struggle or Cold as Ice just cant compete with your current products Rainimator, and Im looking forward to the next years that are yet to come. ❤

Lizzy always makes a series more exciting and emotional, her voice has so much power and I'm glad she is still voice-acting after Aphmau kind of canceled her Minecraft series. A classmate of mine back from 6th grade introduced me to this channel and now I love this channel so much. This series and all of your videos so far have been amazing and I'm glad there are still some people still doing Minecraft animations even tho Minecraft on RUclips has died down sadly 😭

This is so AMAZING! Im now really invested in this series, I love how the music really goes with the animation, like theres the right amount of pause and just letting the voices of the characters carry unlike in which the usual animation where the dialogues have to make way and adjust to the music

I know it's coming later, but I still feel for Lance being able to see how war like the nether it truly is and just seeing how the other Lords could never see that he tried to stop it from happening but in the end he failed, and the end was eventually destroyed by the very enemy and the ignorance he tried to stop so long ago.
