In ABC analysis the classification is done based upon the total value of part inventory (Cost of SKU*Number of units of SKU in stock)

Thanks Maam. In ABC analysis classification is done on the basis of value (economic importance) of the good. Higher value denotes Category A, requiring frequent reviews & tighter controls. And less for "B". Lesser for "C"

ABC analysis is on the basis of total cost or value of each type n their no of units in which they constitute part in d inventory.
