The Lakers would 100% be a trainwreck to be a gm. Super high expectations in LA. Aging superstars. Zero draft capital, lackluster bench…. I’d 100% consider trading Bron, but we know they won’t. Thats the only way they can get back some semblance of immediate assets.
But why trade LeBron? You'll get a few pieces and end up in mediocrity as you have no other pieces to combine with.
Might aswell push with AD and LeBron for a few years and catch up with your picks. Break it up and rebuild then?
*disclaimer* I'm English so I am to basketball what you guys are to footie 😅
Honestly, any player on the Lakers roster is trade-able. The roster is bad from top to bottom. No athleticism, no elite shooters, old star players on aging legs. They’ve got to gut this roster again if they want to return back to deep playoff basketball.
@@TheTony024 But when they gut thier low value assets for low value returns and bottom out, they won't have thier picks to supplement thier rebuild.
You have to have your own picks to make tanking/rebuilding worth it?
What combined value can you get for 1year Lebron. Max Westbrook. Street Clothes. And Reeves/THT? Nothing close to contending
Zero draft capital? Lol the Pelicans pick the 2024 first or the 2025 and we have all of our picks.
The Lakers have all their picks except 1. The Sixers and Nets both have less picks
If you're the Kings gm and you get them into the playoffs you'll look like a genius/god in Sacramento
The bar is so low for us 🤣
They'd build a statue and throw a parade lol.
I swear in Sacramento you would be the centerpiece of a new religion and if you can get them back to the playoffs two times in a row? you own the city.
Imagine if someone (e.g. Monte McNair) brought a championship…
@@nicholasrose4448 Win a championship and we'll build ANOTHER statue and put it under the rotunda in the Capitol. We'll build statues for everybody on the team - including assistant coaches, trainers, media folks, game day staff, etc. - and scatter them around midtown and downtown like the murals.
That feel when bill picks the wizards first. And then you realize this clip was before the beal extension with the no trade clause 😩
The knicks not going in the top 5 give me a but of hope as a knicks fan.
They'd be in my top 5 considering their division and owner.
As a Portland fan, the Trailblazers job is so brutal but as a black Trailblazers fan don’t ever say NBA players prefer to be in Utah > Portland as if NBA players hang out with racist LDS’ers.
Trading up for Zach Collins > Bam then trading him for nothing, Swanigan > Kuzma, and trading Isaiah Stewart pick. That’s just the past couple years of asset acquisition through the draft. No 1st Rnd pick of our own next year so unless the Giannis gets hurt we’ll have the Bucks pick next year at the end of the 1st Rnd. Unless we hit on Shaedon Sharpe AND get the biggest baller of an owner, we are up a pretty crappy creek and a paddle that’s falling apart.
Gotta focus on building the best 3 & D/Playoff scoring young core like Booker-Ayton-Bridges-Cam Johnson that CP3 made a great run with late in his career and hopefully Dame + young core of like Sharpe-Simons-Nassir Little-One More can be a higher ceiling of what Phoenix has been the past two years. Once GSW gets Kuminga-Wiseman-Poole-Moody goin behind Klay-Draymond-Wiggins-Steph, this could get ugly.
Well said
Have you ever been to Salt Lake City?
Portland has all the shitty parts of a big city without any of the nightlife, culture, or scenery. And don't talk about their "famous" stripclubs because I seriously doubt NBA players are into heroin addicts covered in tattoos.
Think a bunch of utahians or however you say it down voted you cause this comment was way too far down
got that last jab in at the wizards at the end lmao
I wish Bill Simmons or Russillo could be GMs ... I would watch out of shear curiosity. I agree with Simmons, the Wizards job is the worst ... and I lived in DC for 10 years so I'd like to see them be competitive. If Ainge can turn it around in Utah then that's impressive. I agree with Portland. Phoenix and the Lakers are interesting picks.
Rusillo thinking nets had any culture before kd is comical 😂😂😂
Time to update this video...
Portland right after Lakers, 3:45 so true
Being a wizards fan has been rough. But at least DC is a hockey town
Until Ovechkin retires
Respectfully, I’ll take any GM job.
Hindsight is 20/20 but these aged terribly…
I love these little segments haha
Yeah Bill is great with these segments he is only unbearable when he talks about the Celtics
@@olamideolanrewaju6581 I personally love those too because he is just so emotionally invested lol. The ups and downs of the pods for the final this year have just been hilarious.
That last comment by Bill was pure gold.
Best GM job is OKC because you can do whatever you'd like, plenty of picks, plenty of cap, some young talent, great fan base, and zero expectations.
Not having really rich owners and having to be in okc is a big draw back lol
@@Howdidhenotseeme with big market and big budget comes higher expectations. So, it's one or the other.
Once Presti makes some of these picks the expectations are actually VERY high because there is no possible way he can ever stumble upon 3 mvps again.
@@NoName-cn3cp I disagree. OKC most certainly does have high expectations - arguably the most of any "bad" team in the league given how all-in they've gone on being bad and acquiring picks. You don't enter a franchise-changing rebuild only to not have expectations that you'll come out on the other side better than you were before. They need to show progress on the rebuild and be competitive in 2-3 years. They can't just be bad and acquire picks forever.
It's also easier for big $$$ teams to justify tanking for longer stretches of time because the financial downsides that come with it aren't as important to them.
@@jdelia54 lol what do you expect from them next year? Maybe in 20 years they should be good lol
I love how they always preface these statements by saying they'd be a GM anywhere lol
Stan Van Gundy destroyed the Pistons.. doesn’t get talked about enough. Trading a 1st (SGA) and Harris & Avery to the Clippers for Blake. Signing Jon Leur to a 3 year $30M deal. Signing Reggie Jackson to a top 10 PG salary. Drafting Stanley Johnson. Terrible GM work & even worse color commentator
Agreed he fucked them up
Hold up I agree but who was responsible for the josh smith, Drummond, Greg Monroe starting line up lol
@@KobaniacMinded lol! yeah man, we had some rough years before SVG forsure
SVG’s commentary always sounds like he’s uncomfortable sitting down cuz his shirt and pants are too tight.
@@39872adnan lmfao
I'm so happy that the Pacers are not on this list. The future is looking up with Haliburtan leading the way
Lot of cap, respected coach and solid young players, not a ton of negatives other than not being a free agent destination
I say we give Stephens front office autonomy and see where he takes us! Nah, just playing. I think we're heading in a good direction with a youth movement. Can't wait to see who comes on in the 6 spot.
And now you got Mathurin and Duarte too!
Lowkey the Sixers situation is really volatile
I will be shocked Embiid stays. They give harden a max they are absolutely screwed
They have players though. It may not be a straight line but there's a path to win.
The Sun's were pretty good when Rubio was healthy before CP3 came in, relatively easy fix compared to Orlando who is 10 deep with no star level players
Yea but Orlando is assumed to be getting their star level player this year. And if it doesnt pan out they will likely get a top 5 pick next year as well. Plus they have a a bunch of young starter level guys that make for rlly good trade assets. They are trending up while the Suns are looking like the opposite. And you dont want to be the GM when a contender starts to sink
@@Shortballa11 bruh, the magic have LITERALLY been in the SAME exact position for the last decade. How are they trending up when they’ve been blowing that same spot for like 7 years?
@@Geeandrezzi nah they were mediocre for awhile similar to what NY is which is the worst place to be in. Now they have the 1st overall pick and legitimately players with value. Better to be at the bottom like they were last year than be somewhere hovering in the middle ground
@@Shortballa11 I disagree completely. They have a bunch of wannabe value players. Johnathan Isaac is their best player and he’s injury-prone af. Jabari could be a start if they take him, but he also could be a flop too
@@Shortballa11 I'm not saying it's an impossible fix, I just don't think it will work out. Personally I'd keep Wagner and Suggs on as 6th and 7th man, resign Bamba for the least amount possible, draft Smith Jr and look to upgrade 1-3 with all other pieces. What would your plan be?
You forgot to talk about Anfernee Simons when discussing Portland :)
They didn't talk about a lot and also their reasons were kinda bad. They moved on very quickly. The only thing that sounded reasonable to me was the fact that yes ownership is in the air right now. Also, Utah is a better place for nba players than Portland? What kind of dick smoking...
Yall need to upload your whole podcast to youtube
Don't think spotify allows that
Yeah or video on Spotify
Spotify owns it
Yeah, they quit doing that when they got the Spotify bag.
Idk how ANY team can justify giving Harden a max $225 mill contract? I just don't know how anybody see's that kind of value in him for the amount of lackluster production he gives you at this point, especially in the playoffs. Harden must be either greedy af, or delusional af to think he deserves a superstar max deal at this point. Harden is NOT a superstar anymore, he's barely an all-star at this point.
Kings job can't be that bad. Yeah the owner is an issue, but you have young talent. Your salary situation isn't fucked. You have all your picks. Even Sabonis is on a good deal.
Your main problem is that your owner is really enthusiastic about a team that is not the team he owns.
The owner is the whole reason why it's a terrible job.
So you actually think the owner is the one that made them draft Mitchell so high when they already had Haliburton and Fox? Lol
the owner is a major problem. Also, the fan base is a problem. They all expect a playoff run. Actually, they all EXPECTED a playoff run last season after the sabonis trade. Literally all the kings fans I've seen in comments and talked to elsewhere, expected a playoff run. Sure injuries happened, but that was a FLOP. So, expectations this season? High as ever high as ever. These fans want a playoff run, and if it doesn't happen, who knows what happens. Its a "no excuses" type of vibe with them right now. Too much pressure imo. Every other situation I look at, expectations aren't super high. I mean for the bottom tier teams.
@@Geeandrezzi What the heck Lol. Davion Mitchell was a PHENOMENAL pick by Sacramento, and is a phenomenal player
And you NEVER draft for need
In the 1st round you draft the best player available, always
@@JustinQuarles no offense, but that’s the dumbest stuff I’ve ever heard. You have 2 highly drafted PGs already, and you draft another PG who’s probably the worst (and smallest, least dynamic) out of the 3? They flipped Haliburton for sabonis, Haliburton has more value for sabonis cause he’s younger with WAYYY more potential. How the heck does it make sense? Never said Mitchell was trash, but he is nowhere near as good as Haliburton overall lol
I would only care about 1 thing as a GM….the owner
If you have a good owner with deep pockets….you will do well as a GM.
It’s the problem with the Suns Sarver and James Jones both didn’t want to pay ayton probably a bit more Sarver
I'm surprised neither picked the clippers. I get that the health stuff has been the main issue, and they have some guys, but like, if it doesnt work out, both of your stars are over 30 and you dont have picks for a decade
It's the Knicks at #1. They have had four over .500 seasons in 22 years, and whatever you start to achieve, the owner will ruin it just as your plans are about to reach fruition.
I would be interested in a best GM job segment. Pacers would be near the top. Good owner, great arena, winning culture, but mostly the roster. Kevin Pritchard has given himself options. They dont have a single bad contract. They have cap space to take on salary in trades. They have pieces to build around in Haliburton, Jackson, and Duarte. The difficult aspect of the job would be that it's not a destination city, but few cities are.
And also that they don't win. It'd be close to the 5.
It's the raptors
I love these segments but Simmons is always going out of way to say some dumb shit that god bless Ryen never agrees with.
Sacramento still has a team?
Fax how does the city of Sacramento have a basketball team, the city sucks and the fan base sucks.
Oh nah Sacramento is definitely the worst right now...
Cannot believe the Lakers were not the first choice. Impossible expectations, totally hamstrung by the Westbrook contract and lack of young talent, and the Rambi.
its still la and the westbrook deal only has one year left
How about now
@@MrFlaherty61 I do not understand why Ainge helped the Lakers escape from their big hole, but nobody predicted it.
Washington, Charlotte, Lakers, Portland, and Jazz are tough spots.
I wouldn’t want to be the Lakers or the Kings GM. 3rd would be the Pacers
I'm living in Utah now, this isn't a particularly fantastic state to live in. Religion is a HUGE influence and most of the state is extremely Republican. Players who are not white could experience some racism and prejudice. The weather is horrible because it could hail, rain, and be scorching hot all in one day. We haven't gotten good rain/snow winters in years. The depression and suicide rates are one of the highest in the country. The governor is more concerned with fighting porn than anything else. Alcohol can only be bought at state liquor stores and they close early as well as bars.
Whenever ‘they’re a nice person’ is used to primarily describe someone in business… you know they’re not great at business
Bill wouldn't trade Tatum for Prime Jordan
I know I am a homer, but the Wizards have a really good owner and they actually have a really good GM in Tommy Shepard too. In his 3 drafts he has gotten Rui, Deni and Kispert, and while they aren't superstars, they aren't busts either. He turned John Wall's terrible contract into Westbrook and then turned Westbrook into Kuzma and KCP.
If everyone is healthy, the starting 5 of Beal, Porzingus, Kuzma with either Rui/Deni and either KCP/Kispert with the other 2 coming off the bench, plus Gifford as a back up center. You got a team that goes 8 deep already.
This is far from the least appealing NBA GM jobs. You would get to work for a really good owner. The roster could either be played as is, trade the stars or trade the young players for another star. Plus you get to live in a quality city where you are the 3rd or 4th most carried about sports team, the fandom here is happy to just make the playoffs.
You poor soul
You realize Dallas shipped off Porzingis, do you? That GM has been worked some miracles, but a total rebuild is probably the best option for this team. That usually results in the GM being canned sometimes during that rebuild!
You guys should tank honestly you’re not getting top 5 picks and you aren’t contending so what’s the point
Very few people would call Washington, DC a quality place to live. Washington, DC a cesspool of politicians, lobbyists, bureaucrats, Pentagon officials, FBI, CIA, etc.
@@brushstroke3733 Right, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have never been in DC. For sports related context, SVP moved his show down to DC, Tony and Mike of Pardon the Interruption are in DC. Beal doesn't want to leave the Wizards because of how much he loves this city.
Those people you are talking about might work here and live here, but they aren't from here nor are they really part of the culture of this city.
Those politicians are from your state, as we don't have Senators or a legitimate member of congress. We just have one "shadow" congress woman, who is probably in the top 5 of people in congress.
Why don't you do us a favor and stop sending this city your corrupted politicians.
The FBI is here but they also have offices in every state in this country. The CIA and NSA are in the burbs of DC and most of them live in the burbs, not in the city proper.
I would have loved to be the GM of the wizards last summer. I would have traded Beal to GS like they wanted and got Poole, Kuminga and Moody. Wiz would have been great
You say that now, but there’s no way to tell if those players would look as good as they do if they weren’t on the warriors…
@@Geeandrezzi we didn't know about Poole, but it would be worth it to take a swing on Moody and Kuminga. Young talent and get off the expensive overrated Beale.
You got one overrated guard whose you would overpay , a young prospect and an older rookie
The fact that they got off of Russell Westbrook is still AMAZING to me! How TF did they pull that off?!
Last year the world would’ve called you crazy if you did that deal. Poole didn’t emerge until this season
Dame had a simple surgery and extra recovery while the team tanked, has never been a Diva about his teammates(he loves and wants to keep everybody, but lets the gm move people) and Jody Allen has respected Paul's wishes, willing to spend, with an amazing new owner coming in the pipeline.
They cut out the Neil Olshey cancer and have both a little win-now and a little future focused roster.
I'm excited for Portland.
The Knicks not making this list is one of the biggest upsets in the history of upsets. That team should be a permanent fixture here as long as Dolan is the owner.
The Knicks are so bad, they forgot about them. Definitely should have gone #1.
Best young core in the league
@@kazman_6899 lol thanks I needed a laugh like that
@@beenieweenie1986 Harsh. RJ, Toppin, (Robinson), Quickley, Grimes, Sims, McBride... yeah, best young core in the league. I've mocked a RJ, Toppin, Rose and Grimes trade for Mitchell. Knicks fans are saying there's no way they would do it. I've seen RJ for Fox trades that I wouldn't do on behalf of the Knicks. I'd seriously consider an RJ, Toppin, Rose, Quickley, Grimes, Gibson for Zion, Graham, Lewis, Marshall, Hernangomez, Temple trade... if I were the Pels. I wouldn't do it if I were the Knicks. RJ is getting legit, and Toppin is not far off.
@@kazman_6899 you play to much nba2k. None of those trades is even slightly realistic in the real world. Just because your fans wouldnt do a trade thinking they can do better is not a way to measure talent. Winning games is a way to measure talent and the knicks don't win many games. Your best player is 27 and he's not even an all star.
12:15 "Gobert makes so much money I don't know what they could get for him." Quite a lot apparently
I thought it last year but it’s really been underscored by this year, the Lakers. Massive expectations, messed up roster, no flexibility, little control between Jeanie’s friends and LeBron’s friends, and both the LA media and Klutch sports are going throw you under the buss the second anything goes wrong.
The Lakers biggest mistake was trading for Westbrook I love him but you got rid of all you had to bring in a big name. They would be in much better shape with kcp, Harrell, and kuz at least you could trade them now
Nah, forget Harrell. Harrell was a dramatic and rètārded pothead. But yeah, Lakers screwed themselves by trading for Hussle Dumbbrick. They also let Carushow walk away.
@@QuestionEverything562 on the look but playing wise sucks 😂
Bills dog in the background did it for me
I think it depends on how we approach it. Based on who's currently the GM then the Wizards, Kings, Portland have an argument because these teams refuse to admit their teams are $hit, in need or a rebuild or horrible at player development. But if I walk into those franchises and get free reign to do what I want, there's a path there where I can let Beal and Porzingis walk, trade Dame and if i'm the Kings then stay patient and develop my young guys.
The Lakers are the worse destination by a mile if I get free reign over a franchise. Even if i'm the smartest person in the room, there's no maneuverability for me to get better and there's no incentive to get worse because I don't own my own picks. It's a total mess. I have Lebron who's great but can't have the same individual impact he once had, AD is always injured, Westbrook stinks and even if I can get Kyrie in some miracle, this team's outlook is quite weak.
3:54 i want ryen to know that was a good joke bill didn’t laugh because his soul was sucked out of his body during the finals
Pretty cool that Bill got Liev Schreiber to do this ep! 👍
If I was the GM of the rockets, we would win a Finals by 2025.
Westbrook for Kyrie 🤣
Anybody else think that the craziest Harden deal that Simmons teased is Westbrook for Harden?
no, no one thinks that
Taking the Kings as team you wouldn’t want to be GM 1st made zero sense by Russillo when that’s literally the least amount of pressure and they had 2 very good players to build around and top 1-8 pick coming. Then he had Phoenix 2nd?!?! WTF.
Rockets Would be close to last for me especially if they don’t luck into Wenbanyama along with Wizards and Bobcats. I know Bill is Lakers hater but I agree with him mainly bc Jeanie Buss poorest pockets in NBA. I agree also Vogel scapegoat was corny.
That said Simmons LeBron hater (I get it they knocked his Celtics out of playoffs 5x from 2011-2018 including 3 ECF when Celtics had close out game 6/7 at home and then he won title as MVP for hated lakers) and of course LeBron resigned proving him wrong and isn’t leaving after this year.
2010-11 to now Lakers W% without LeBron on Court 33-49 and with him ON COURT their W% is 49-33. Their playoffs in that same time without him is 9-17 and with him is 18-9 with a title.
Lakers. AD is injury prone, Lebron is 42.
Bron is 37 lol
Bill’s hatred for LeBron and the Lakers knows no limitations.
I’m worried about the Hawks as a fan. Trae as your best guy is fun but scary come playoff time. We need a second star that’s as good as him and hopefully a 2-way player. I’d welcome Ben if he’s actually healthy
Bogdan is that guy
Should have traded Collins for McCollum
I don't think Portland or Utah are as bad as you think. All you would need is the guts to make big moves (i.e trading dame and blowing it up)
Finding trading partners for guys making $40-$45m isn't easy without taking back huge money. Plus the assets are mostly going to be 4-5 years from now.
@@michaelahurt There are so many teams interested in Dame/Gobert/Mitchell. And getting long term assets is exactly what small markets like Utah and Portland should be doing.
@@Anonymous-py7ix interested that will give you stuff or interested that they'll give you bad contracts and picks in 2025-27?
LA will give you Russ and two firsts. Philly will give you Tobias (signed through 2024) and probably Maxey for Mitchell but probably not Dame. Dallas will give you Jalen Brunson for Dame/Mitchell or floatsam and picks for Rudy. Toronto will give you OG and either Trent or floatsam. Clippers Reggie Jackson and Norm Powell. Best case is RJ for Mitchell if NY would even do that. You can have Julius Randle signed through 2026.
The point is you you HAVE to blow it up. There's very little path forward. You have almost no young players, you will never sign a free agent and you don't have anyone to build around if you trade your stars. Your entire strategy is hoping you get the #1 pick next year so you can draft Victor Wembanyama.
Basically the best case scenario is getting back Duncan Robinson and Markieff Morris (on a bogus $20m contract you can buy out later) or Tim Hardaway and Davis Bertans so you are actually bad next year. And Utah would need to trade 4 guys basically cause if they keep Conley and Bogey they would win too many games. And btw even if you lose 82 games you have like a 15% chance at the #1 pick.
Neither of those teams has a future right now
The point is you can't. If the owners want to keep Lillard, you're turn between rebuild and win now. That's brutal.
God bless the Knicks not being on here
I find it crazy when people act like lifestyle doesn’t matter. Half of these GMs would trade their spot to be the lakers GM.
i been refreshing my youtube for a video i can take a shit to thisll work
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I would take the Kings job provided I could move the Franchise to Jacksonville or Las Vegas or Nashville.
Las Vegas Kings 😎
Hey Bill, dame’s injury was also cus they were tanking
Beal just signed a max deal with a NO TRADE CLAUSE. You are paying him $50M a year to not be a trade asset. That has to be one of the worst contracts ever.
Washington is by far the worst. Their probably the worst organization if you look at the complete history of the NBA, you’re about to get locked into giving Beal supermax money, they don’t have a top pick, and they’re still gonna be awful
LeGM has it covered
Remember when everyone crapped on Phil for saying trade Lebron and keep russ?
Said at the time it’s the best thing for the lakers
I guess that the wizards are afraid that if they don't pay Beall then they have nobody for the fans to come out and see next year? I think if I was in the wizards ownership/management group I would sell them on a rebuild and save that Bradley Beal money for some good role players and build a team out of the draft the next few years. Perhaps Beal could be traded for a lot of draft picks? I think it's ridiculous to pay Beal and then figure it out down the line
The worst job would obviously be the Knicks.
Utah looking a lot better now.
Jim Buss really? Lol the Lakers just finished paying Deng and Jeanie has a ring. Not to mention D’antoni gtfoh
Came across this 9 months later, and somehow Russillo’s first two picks ended up being terrible😂
I don't see how he is coming up with these Heat Nets trades
This is better than watching first take
It’s so funny watching them say that the jazz wouldn’t get much for Gobert lol
Suns is a good pick. Sarver isn't just the worst owner in the NBA, he's the worst owner in sports imho
Everything Bill said about Utah was wrong. lol Hindsight 20 20 and all that.
Success for a general manager is not getting fired. You don’t have to win to be successful.
Lakers have a Ton of picks Ik you hate the lakers bill but not the worse position
Toughest GM jobs:
1. New York Knicks
2. Sacramento Kings
3. Washington Wizards
4. Los Angeles Lakers
5. San Antonio Spurs (post-Pop)
Best GM Jobs:
1. Oklahoma City Thunder
2. Orlando Magic
3. Miami Heat
4. Denver Nuggets
5. Milwaukee Bucks
I would say the Celtics would be a great gm job
Now Charlotte def moves up a couple spots with Atkinson declining lol
16 minutes and wondering how the Hell the Knicks haven’t been mentioned yet
Bill Simmons has the absolute worst takes. I wish he was GM of the Celtics.
Underrated thing about Phoenix essentially giving away Jalen Smith, he was REALLY GOOD for Indiana for the last 22 games! He was 13 and 8 with a block a game shooting over 50% from the field and 37% from three on about 4 attempts a game. He could be a legitimate guy and all they got back for him was Torrey Craig.
I’d do Durant for Tatum yesterday, are you serious? Unless you’re assuming Tatum is going to be a top 15 player all time then win that championship now. Giannis will dominate for another half a decade. Then on the West you’ll have Jokic, Morant and Luka to go against.
I’m glad the Lakers won a championship by giving away the babies because there’s no way those players would win us a chip.
The Orlando Magic, because ownership will not stick with whatever the current front office does with that 1st draft pick ( because they never have before ). Very similar feeling to the Kings - "rudderless" is mild in comparison.
Sacramento and it's not particularly close. Small market with major market expectations coupled with meddling. At least he's made his daughter the asst GM of the Stockton Kings, so maybe keeping it in the family makes it more appealing? smh.
Either New York team = Being set up for failure.
They mentioned Durant for Tatum. Brad Stevens has openly said that either Jaylen or Tatum arent going to get traded. Like I feel like brad would turn down even a Tatum and Luka player swap, he just thinks that highly of them.
Before even watching this I would nominate the Knicks and Kings, because they have such terrible ownership and leadership.
The Knicks ownership especially is a crime against basketball. Knicks fans are arguably the most loyal of any fan base in any sport and that loyalty has not been repaid.
Top 5 most liked cities by players in no order-Miami, Houston, NY, Atl, LA
Atlanta is a weird place because it’s a great sports big city but I feel like they haven’t signed a big time free agent in forever
@@tj-23 joe johson was last star player they was able to sign as free agent
We’ve come a long way 😭
Bills has said he’ll trade LeBron the last 3 years. Lmao. Guys is salty
I never understand the Jeanie criticism, she always listens to the players and acquiesces to what the players say they need /want and all she talks about is winning. She allows trading away of all our assets to appease the talent on the team with the expectation of winning and when things go wrong y’all point the finger at her??? The only thing i understand is her having too much people in her ear and offering /lending advice but other than that ..Cmon
If you told me 5 years ago that a team could have Bron and AD. There's no chance you could convince me that the Lakers would be an undesirable GM job...
Lakers have 0 picks, an ageing star who has low trade value, a guy who is supposed to be the future who can't stay healthy and no-one wants to sign in LA because of California's shitty taxes
For me the Lakers and the Nets are the biggest clusterfuck atm. They have some pieces but nothing fits together and nobody there seems to be really addressing the real issues either. Well maybe the new Lakers coach will but so far I haven't seen anything.
if u are picking suns based on the ownership, you cannot NOT pick knicks. any knicks fans will take sarver over dolan albeit grudgingly.
The Lakers have more picks than the Nets
Phoenix is a sneaky good pick here. Replacing CP3 will be virtually impossible so their arrow has to be down for the next 5 years.
I feel like Bill only brings up these topics just to rip on the Laker and I’m here for it 😂
Danny Ainge has mountains to climb in UTAH…!!!
