I think it's more like how in real life you don't full-on sprint everywhere like you do in video games. Spamming the space bar is the equivalent of getting up as fast as you humanly could in real life, as if your life depended on it. While if you don't, he just gets up normally.

6:30 no need for an alarm clock. take the regular clock, go outside the front door, and put it on the rail? barrier? on the left, and face it outwards, towards the "camera" that shows your base when you sleep. just wake up at whatever time you want when you see it on the clock lol
5:30 i found that drinking the beer out of the bottle completely makes the game not let you use the empty bottle for the molly. you can take about 8 swigs of the beer in total iirc. take 7 swigs and pour out the rest if you dont like wasting shit. also saving your game stops the drunkenness effect. mind you though, maybe this was fixed, I'm playing on 0.8.0, and 0.8.0d came out 2 days ago as i write this.
Problem with not rushing kerfurO: keep in mind that you have a deadline to get this lil cutie built so you dont have to deal with... Certain entities... Also she frees up time to get signals and clean up the base. Also, SAVE YOUR SIGNALS AT THE START!!! once you get higher processing levels, you can load those saved signals into drives, process them, and re-turn them in!

I swear to GOD I've been playing this game for the past two years, been hella deep on dev streams, and yet I never knew about doing the server minigame with the keyboard. Imma bout to break my current best of 7.22 for SURE now.
Thankfully I played 0.7.0 and got quite far so when 0.8.0 happened I saved myself time by taking everything that I can put into the mailbox and send it to the new save. P.s don't leave kurf-o alone or at least turn her off and put her in a locked room like the side office (the code is 1234) there's a new entity, (corrupt kurf-o) it will take your kurf-o or normal kurf away and won't give it back.

@@robincait Its not just shadows from what I can tell. Its in the base. There is heavy lag inside and this is more than likely due to the amount of objects and collisions. I noticed on my own attempt (got the mars bug so Im gonna wait) that basically stuff spawned also in the hidden chamber in your base that you cant access without no clip or use of camera to inspect it through walls and ceiling. It ended up colliding with another object (or got stuck in a wall) leading to constant clanging noises. Safe to say I wont continue that save and its not due to the Mars bug.
update: apparently i had "post processing" and "volumetric lighting" on. i NEVER play votv with these on. in my defence, i hadnt played votv for a while before 0.8.0 released, so i forgot i dont play with them on. i now get at least 100 fps with it on. but it does tend to dip a bit when in my base (for sum reason idk).
Update to my previous update: I can now run Voices of the Void (Pre-Alpha 0.8.0e) on max graphics settings for some reason. 😐 I guess my PC woke up and decided to be a man instead of a pathetic little baby, (lol). 😎
I found the can opener really useful since all the crates dropped canned food, as far as i know *MOST* of the canned foods give stamina as well as some decent hunger
People with bad anxiety (like me) tip: turn down ambient sounds and get a radio/tv/youtube vid up it'll cut down on your paranoia drastically and make the game more enjoyable when you're not looking over your shoulder every 5 seconds.
fun fact: theres different versions of the helmet called "limb protect" and "body protect" i dont really have to explain what these do, because well, its in the name. (these are sandbox only i believe unless you do a little file tomfoolery and port them into story)
I don’t use ATV at all, since when I was playing 0.7.0, it once disappeared to nowhere at day 15 or so, and only at day 40, it was brought back by Rozidal event, when she cleans it with sponge. So I had to go on my two, the whole time between those points. And it’s not that bad actually. I also don’t use the digital map, cuz I memorised the whole thing. Also there’s a funny glitch, when you throw mannequins, that already without stand (so they moved to you on their own.) to cremator for one moment, and then you extinguish them, they will do an endless dance in there, if you’ve put them so they can’t get out. (Prone or half prone.)
u can use circular garbage cans as infinite storage they weigh ~300 and store~1200 which means that u can put it in ur backpack(or just carry it around but thats slightly more of a hassle)
also dont forget that you can also make a game of the same gamemode, put items from that save into the mailbox and go back to your save and the items will be in the mailbox

Does the fallen vent still work as a furniture pusher? I've found it to be more convenient for moving furniture in 0.7 with the wide, flat area it provides while still being light enough to hold normally
Also, you actually can parkour or save your life from fall or cling on cliffs, just crouch and spam spacebar, that make you climb on clifs or other thing(idk it works now or not, but before it wors.)
I last played on version 0.6.3b (yes that’s hella old), and so much has changed from when I last played. Even though I still remember how to play, I had no idea these things were added. This game has come a long way, shame I can’t play it anymore :/
Why is that? The performance is honestly better than 0.6.3 for me, so that can't be the problem (Only custom assets seem to slowdown the game massively if you just have it in the folder. So try deleting all custom assets in your assets folder as it persists even if you delete the game as it is stored in the documents folder by default I believe.)

You should update as the performance was improved over updates as 6.0.3 wasn't the best optimized. You get new content and better performance most likely at least for me that was the case.
Last ver i was brand new rushed kerfusO and then further rushed getting 2 more by making another save to get more cores and even when one got murder eradicated by the yellow balls of light i still had 2 others. I did stage a successful rescue mission immediately though. Stressful as all hell but successful
man, i wish that the item box had a bigger storage space, so i didn't have to buy 7 of them to sell my garbage. oh yeah, and that you could turn off raytracing so my computer doesn't shit it's pants when i look at a window.

Last time this happened, I thought I lost the second leg. Turns out, it only drops one leg when destroyed. I kinda wish that wasn't the case, confused me for 2 hours looking for a limb that didn't even exist.

He spawns in at the gate like usual, then something metallic seems to shoot out of the ground with a rush of steam or something coming out of it. What probably happened was a fire extinguisher fell out of the map, teleported to the gate, and scared the bejeezus out of The Librarian.

turn off shadows for the moment. it'll be fixed in the next hotfix, but that's the solution for the initial test build

Why is that? The performance is honestly better than 0.6.3 for me, so that can't be the problem (Only custom assets seem to slowdown the game massively if you just have it in the folder. So try deleting all custom assets in your assets folder as it persists even if you delete the game as it is stored in the documents folder by default I believe.)
@@PGerman. my laptop can’t really run the game. Last time I played, I pointed out weird graphical errors, which turned out to be my laptop struggling to load the lighting in, and this in on minimal settings.

You should update as the performance was improved over updates as 6.0.3 wasn't the best optimized. You get new content and better performance most likely at least for me that was the case.

Last ver i was brand new rushed kerfusO and then further rushed getting 2 more by making another save to get more cores and even when one got murder eradicated by the yellow balls of light i still had 2 others. I did stage a successful rescue mission immediately though. Stressful as all hell but successful

what you mean fiddling whit induvidual bags they stack in the inventory so you just put them all on slot one fill the first bag that takes slot 1 grab the remaning 50 or how many bag from slot 2 and continue right clicking on the trashpile.

there is a new, zombie kerfur enemy. not sure if it's random but if you have a kerfur of your own, it may head over to where the zombie version is buried. it will eventually escape (or u can dig it up) and it will start chasing you. the easiest way to kill it seems to be molotovs. its got plenty of health and three phases so best to stock up

Last time this happened, I thought I lost the second leg. Turns out, it only drops one leg when destroyed.

@@MrGermandeutsch Are you sure that only one leg dropped? I've heard that the Kurfur fragments appear on the radar, and if objects were to fall out of the map, they should appear at the gate or something.

He spawns in at the gate like usual, then something metallic seems to shoot out of the ground with a rush of steam or something coming out of it. What probably happened was a fire extinguisher fell out of the map, teleported to the gate, and scared the bejeezus out of The Librarian.
