Another banger!! This video is spot on. A lot of kids are playing hundreds of dollars to play on a local aau team and they are not getting nothing out of it.
Great video!! I would just say that too often players who haven’t dominated their “local” leagues circuit jump to the national scene too early with their local AAU teams and often hurt their chance as well. Some times it’s not the team your on but rather your simply not ready when given the platform to showcase. I would say personally focus on developing and competing on one level above your skillset if dominating your age group, focus on learning the game and begin to seek out guidance to get better so when the opportunity comes to get one of the elite teams in your region you’re prepared. The known teams have their pick of the litter so you will need to carve your niche so you can get on the floor. Just because you’re on the team doesn’t mean you will get the opportunity to play so make sure you understand your role and thrive in it once in that stage. It’s not just about getting on the team for the perks like travel and networking but also seek to make an impact on your team to show why you were selected in the first place.
Soon hopefully I will be there is a bunch of good team out here in Los Angeles so hopefully soon I will join one of these team but for now I am gonna keep working and dominate high school.GREAT VIDEO BTW!!!
