This song shut down the rap game for the whole summer of '95.. It was played EVERYWHERE, you couldn't have a party or get together without having this on repeat
Biggie was creating wonders by 21 and some of the greatest albums ever by 24,it’s a shame he got killed over a unnecessary beef. We still miss you 27 years later Biggie.
90s was dope bro! Gas was cheap, economy was at a surplus, everyone had a job, President was getting head in the white house, we played outside until the street lights came on. Good times!
Not really only like 3 or 4 ppl died in this video biggie, heavy d, Craig mack and maybe someone else is all I noticed who passed on. The only thing dead now is the music of hip hop which is ruined by mumble rappers and same beat whack trap music and stupid auto tuned ingenious lyrics too.

When Other Artists Was In Each Others Videos Just Having A Good Time , I Miss This Era 🙏 I'm Getting Older && Realizing That This Is The Music I'm Into Cause This Is The Music I Grew Up On
niyah, make no mistake it was label sponsored. back then if you see someone dancing in someone else's clip you'll know they are either label mate or they have an album that's about to drop and said singer will appear on theirs. this was the economical way of promoting singers as billboards and page ads were out of reach for most black artists with the exception of one MJB. Back then word of mouth did all the rest of the word and words would travel overseas even ( I was back then )
I SWEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I miss this Era of music. RIP Biggie, Heavy D and Aaliyah. S/O to Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige and Aaliyah for killin the background vocals on this song.
"Isn't this great? Your flight leaves at eight, her flight lands at nine, my game just rewinds..." 🔥🔥🔥. Word play, sarcasm, smooth flow, and he made it appear so easy. #Respect
1995- Summer Biggie blew the hell up especially outside of NY and the east coast. Biggie- One More Chance Remix Junior Mafia- Player’s Anthem ft Biggie He took over the throne that year. Pac was going through court cases and eventually was incarcerated. Biggie, Bad Boy and Undeas took the hell off!! For those of us who were having a blast in the summer of ‘95 with those those records you know what I’m talking about………👍🏾
Biggie was only 21 when this song came out just really think about that. You have rapper's that are in their 40's still not on this level Biggie did it so effortlessly
Biggy was one with the rhythm; the way he entered on the fourth beat counter, he knew the words would flow seamlessly into the start of the next. That’s pure genius.
@@dorenjackson1166 yeah well beats where still good up till about 2015 as far as "kids spitting " I highly doubt it. They probably sound good compared to the trash that comes out today, but nobody that dropped in the 2010s or after never gonna compare to late 80s - 2005 its impossible.. Even the guys my age (Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Drake) who dropped in the late 2000s, they are good, but watered down compared to the legends before them..
White guy who fell in love with hip hop/rnb in late 80s. I always say this has to be considered one the greatest hip hop songs of all time. I was 17 when this was out in 95. My life was friends, parties, girls, weed and sports in no particular order. I had this cassingle because the remix wasn’t on Ready to die which a lot of my friends had. Back then I just thought the video was cool with all the cameos. Looking back almost 30 years later, it’s a great reflection of great era of hip/rnb during the time but sad to see many of the artists in the video are gone.
A Highly Slepted On Bar!!! I was 15 years old when this came out. I'll be 41 on 9/21/21 & it still makes me go up for it (the video solidifies the energy) & I still know the lyrics word for word. Biggie will forever be in my top 5. That man was a BEAST.
Istg!!! Uncle Luke, Heavy D, Faith, Aaliyah, Total, Mary J. I mean anybody who was anybody was there! I wish we still partied like this. Seems like somebody would get shot now if we have these kind of parties again
Say what you will, Puff gave us so many classics. Even Cassie was dope, she didn't drop alot of music but what we heard was really good. R.I.P Biggie, Prayers for the combs family, Bad Boy 4eva.🖤
Really? I found it quite a directionless and unhappy time after the optimism of the 80s. Very dull characters in charge like Bush senior and John Major.
1995 was one of the best years of my life. I’m so grateful to have experienced that time and space. But most of all, I’m still here to tell the stories. ❤️❤️❤️
people don't give Faith and Mary enough credit. their vocals really helped make the song what it is. the smoothness of Faith's voice is everything.
Biggie did but those two made it what it is someone else could’ve done and done it better not trying to take any credit away tho
Don’t forget Aaliyah & Mary J helped her with the vocals, I heard 702 & Total helped too..

90s was dope bro! Gas was cheap, economy was at a surplus, everyone had a job, President was getting head in the white house, we played outside until the street lights came on. Good times!
every damn legend was in this video, and a lot of them died. it’s fr sad out here

Back then word of mouth did all the rest of the word and words would travel overseas even ( I was back then )
Yes all love. Biggie seemed like a lovable guy
I SWEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I miss this Era of music. RIP Biggie, Heavy D and Aaliyah.
S/O to Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige and Aaliyah for killin the background vocals on this song.
i feel you
Aaliyah didn’t sing background on this song it was strictly Mary & Faith. Aaliyah was lip syncing.
"Isn't this great? Your flight leaves at eight, her flight lands at nine, my game just rewinds..." 🔥🔥🔥. Word play, sarcasm, smooth flow, and he made it appear so easy. #Respect

Biggie blew the hell up especially outside of NY and the east coast.
