- A legendary college football game held shortly after the death of President John F. Kennedy is the subject of a new CBS Sports program called "Marching On: 1963 Army-Navy Remembered." CBS News legal analyst Jack Ford is the program's executive producer and talks to the "CBS This Morning" co-hosts about the game.
I was 14 years old and I cried like a baby. I still have tears in my eyes. God rest your soul JFK.
A footnote: This was the game in which CBS Sports, which televised Army vs. Navy, introduced instant replay to live sports programming.
Celluloidwatcher What a time to start instant replay.
@@dalehulen369 that's hilarious
Roger Staubach was the Navy QB in this game lol.
The attendance of 100,000 was not unique to this Army-Navy Game - it was that fro every game at that time!
Navy 21 - Army 15
I am told that when were Singing Navy Blue and Gold after the came that the CBS Cameras came in close on me... no video tapes and VCR/DVDs., etc, so I'll likley never know if that is true.

President Kennedy was such an attractive man. God Bless him ♥️
So sad that our own government did that to a Person… let alone a President! 😭
The CIA had originally planned on having JFK assassinated during his motorcade route TO this game on November 2nd, but he canceled his GOING TO this game, so JFK had a few more days to LIVE, until November 22nd!!
Do you know who owns copyrights to this particular game footage especially the JFK portion?
Jfk was such a stud
Nope he was not as he was gay!
