The shooter is very impressive....We have noticed in Michigan at least at Kettering 1 that shooting wasn't as important as initially thought. The robots were mainly focused at placing gears (to get 3 rotors) and climbing for the end game. We were getting scores in the 300's. And 2 ranking points per match. But as teams getting better and everyone places the 12 gears and climbs, a good shooter will be invaluable to get that extra RP and those extra points.
The center tower rotates, and there's a roller that pulls balls inside the tower (I think). Truly an incredible design ... definitely the coolest loader/agitator I have ever seen, and the effectiveness is mind boggling.
Your robot must be contained within the frame perimeter at the start of the match, but afterwards it is legal to extend as long as your robot dimensions are within one of the two sizing box dimensions.
If you have a really good shooter, like team 125, those points are really nice to have, especially in auto when every ball is worth a single point. During their matches I saw them go past 40 kPa several times. When paired with 5687, a very fast gear bot, they were nearly unstoppable, except in the finals when 5687 and their third alliance member had some connection issues.

True. I noticed at the Ontario (Canada) District Event, many bots had shooters but only like 5 were actually using them.
This is the most extraordinary robot I've ever seen, amazing work guys! You should be incredibly proud!
Just love that on team 6043 just had our first competition today and did :/ but that robot is crazy Awesome and the name is cool best one i have seen
May I use part of this video for my school project?
Damn they shoot as fast at 118
Faster. At week 0, they were shooting just as fast as 118. And they were running at half speed.
We havent seen thier true power...
How does that gear holder release the gear to the pilot?
where is your 2018 robot reveal???
Why the fold out intake?
What are the bands you used on your intake?
How does that hopper work?
ohhh, i see
misha lvovsky how?

It's described in detail here: www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1652130&postcount=59
Isn't it illegal to extend beyond the framer perimeter

Damn nice shooter, but small hopper space... hopefully they add a containment as they look underweight and they can do that.
Depends on your definition of small space. With our containing flaps on, we can hold ~110 fuel.
1519 should make a reveal video, but they might get red carded after it pushes over 125s'.
Too bad fuel balls are like no points
Salmaan KHAN that is very true, but 4 rotors in playoffs will be 100 bonus points, a major game changer
Salmaan KHAN fair enough

I know it's almost been two years, but Einstein lol
