there was a such a satisfaction when Marie finally got justice and the detective that hurt her had the "oh shit face", but bro, I wanted everyone who called her a liar and made her life miserable to realize just how badly they fucked up.
What is wrong with you dicks. I had zero sympathy for Marie at the end. She lied. She said she made it up. No, then it was true, then it was no I lied. The police have nothing to feel bad about.
@@donbrogan3158 Calling people dicks because they felt satisfied when she got justice and felt bad for her......there is something wrong with you, not them. And ofc they'll have something to feel bad about, they made a person doubt the whole thing.
fairchildsrunes they had her say she lied about being raped so they could call off the investigation and she went through hell because of it only for the detectives to find evidence of her rape after everyone basically hates her now
If the foster mum didn't make marie out to be a attention seeker maybe the police would have took her a more serious, the foster mum was the one who planted the idea in there head.
I'm so glad that the detectives found those pictures...because Marie would've been branded a liar for the rest of her life. I was heartbroken for her, even though she finally got the justice she deserved. I was so close to punching my laptop screen at those two male cops, Parker and Pruitt. ESPECIALLY Pruitt. He really p****d me off.
It’s scary to think about the amount of victims of the justice system across the world who haven’t had any closure and have been branded liars when the evidence just hasn’t been found
@@donbrogan3158 She was put in a horrible decision where she felt she had to lie because they interrogated her hours after it happened and they didn’t give her the rest and recuperation she needed after being attacked.
The fact that this series in a way vindicates Marie from her so called "friends", foster parents and counselor" and get to see this and know how they freaking messed up is just a little satisfying. Just a little because I hope everyone of those individuals feel guilty and remorseful for causing more pain to someone who was already suffering!!!
I was so mad watching this show. This poor girl went through something horrific and life altering and just because she didn’t act a certain way she was deemed a liar. It disgusts me how this happens in real life. Victim blaming and not believing the victim, especially if you’re a police officer, is mind boggling.
The most powerful scene for me is a few minutes before this scene, when the detectives start watching all the photos of the victims, I can't imagine the attrocities they looked to make those faces even when they are used to see stuff like that.
i'm sad when police doubt her bcs of her foster mom and her inconsistencies. when it's normal to be incosistence with your statement, especially when the police made her doubt herself.

I’m glad the cop felt very remorseful. But I wish he really felt the impact of his dumba$$ decision.

They should have added another scene where the foster parents were notified. I really wanted to see their expressions.

Maybe the greatest actress of all time
Absolutely. Watch her in Hereditary as well.

Is it bad that I found it funny when she said “she looks 12” and she’s 18?
And that she's 23 in real life. It's not bad, it's a coping mechanism of making a situation more comfortable, I do that sometimes.

Based on the picture of her midsection, I really can’t fathom how anyone would think she looks 12 lmao.
