@8:13 The Auto Exposure lock function button is pressed and held to expose the scene you want and upon release of the button, that exposure is held for 20 seconds! If the shutter is not tripped, that held exposure is erased. So the AE lock button is not a press On press Off feature!!!
@@FookFish I went for the bessar r2 purely for max shutter 1/2000 same finder and meter as the m6 and doesn't need a battery to operate. Hexar was nice but didn't want electronics to go...
Sorry for being that person, but the way how you described the hyperfocal distance was incorrect. This term only applies when the far end of depth of focus is infinity
Hi Nico - I have this camera and was wondering if you knew how one might fix the viewfinder? To focus we know the camera has two images align horizontally but suddenly, my viewfinder is off vertically. Any chance you have any tips on how to fix this? Thanks!!
You know Nico, I had one, during an important shoot the shutter went out, done, over. I did write Zeiss in Germany and the fixed it, however, I went back to Leica M with the 0.58 VF. At the time I had a Leica M back-up that saved me, but it went. That shutter has issues when used in a more demanding environment. That is, when shooting fast. Just walking around at easy it's great, but hard work, no, not for me.

This camera has always caught my eye. If I ever get an M mount camera it would be this one or the m4
mine would be the hexar rf

Can you do double exposures with this camera? Tks.
Not as far as I know.
You can always do it manually, with some practice
When the camera is off, does it lock the shutter from releasing?
Yes.

I never knew, thanks for the comment, next time will call it depth of field.

Is this your own camera? I saw one while window shopping on kameratori. Would be very tempting if I were in a market for high end rangefinder.
Its from the store, I borrow them to make these videos. Its a fantastic camera, my favorite quick M camera.
@@NicosPhotographyShow Cool, so probably the exact same one I was looking at. These are pretty rare around here after all.
Hi can u tell me what battery it uses? I wanna buy some online but couldn’t find the correct name. Thanks
It uses two Lr44 or Sr44 batteries
Beautiful camera. I checked out the prices on ebay. It’s crazy!!!!!

If only Zeiss would digitize this camera like Leica did with their M series.
Mẫu máy rất đẹp ❤
