The Iceberg Aarhus | CEBRA Architecture

We have shot quite a few Iceberg films from the day we started building the complex to document the process and share our architecture. This, however, is the “ultimate” movie shot to show the finished buildings from the best angles and with the most compelling light. All footage and editing is done by Allan Toft and sponsored by Pro Tec who delivered windows for the project.

CEBRA is a Danish architecture office established in 2001 by Mikkel Frost, Carsten Primdahl and Kolja Nielsen who are currently running the office. CEBRA is well respected internationally for their fresh and life affirming architecture. In the latest publication the blurb written by Kent Martinussen goes like this: “…CEBRA_files_02 is more than a professional portfolio. It’s an illustrated manifesto and a tribute to architecture and the joy of making. The lighthearted and warmly humanistic approach that has always been the defining characteristic of a true CEBRA is present throughout this work. Even though CEBRA have long since evolved into a mature office with large commissions, such as the EXPERIMENTARIUM in Copenhagen, they evidently still allow themselves to have fun. This is serious architecture, but it’s never boring…”
