I didn't expect Jensen ackles (Dean) to be in this video
Great video Brian!

I would love to find one just in running condition people didn't want an arm and a leg for
they don't last long. one came up today and before the end of the day he had 2 buyers racing to pay him 6800 and it wasn't quite running yet but it was nice.
How much are you selling one of these for? Cause I want one!
we have several styles of 67's and we build to budget, 15k to 6 figures, it's up to the customer what they choose to do. find us online and social as Maupin Metal for more info
Fell head over heals in love with the impala first time I watched supernatural. Beautiful peace of machinery. Without doubt my favourite car. Can't believe jensen was in the vid. Great job brian
thank you!

The impala is just one of the prettiest cars viewed with a europeans eyes 😍😍😍
Me: *whispers* it's just a car. it's just a car. it's just a car
Also me: *crying*
Do people still manufacture '67 Impala? I really really want one.
we professionally restore them www.maupinmetal.com
That was my first car that my dad gave me , the old family car! It sure was a joy to see one again. I was 14 yrs. Old. It took one year of fixing to put it back on the road. Thx , for the memories. It was navy blue!
Hi do you have any impalas in stock that would be good turn key cars? Im looking for a supernatural impala that I could daily drive without many problems. Would a 327 be the ideal choice for this situation and how much would a good daily driver cost?
I know of a friend considering selling their full replica. it would likely be expensive but a true replica that has been at shows and built professionally, not my build though. Other than that on the other side of the spectrum we have one candidate that is unrestored but drivable and not much rust. It would not take much more than 30k to have a daily driver with some restoration done but certainly not all of it since most replicas that are well done for SPN and also well restored are easily 60k cars.
@@maupinmetal please also tell if the engine type is appropriate for daily use or else it could be updated by any new technology?
@@alicebhatt9104 many if not most of our cars are driven daily. some upgrades like Holley sniper EFI make the engine even more reliable
I often debate with my wife about this car
I’ve seen 4 episodes of this show as she is watching it
The use a Impala for all the hard shots
But in several scenes I see a caprice
the studio built several from Caprice and a few Caprice clues have made it on screen, you're not crazy, but the show intends it to be a 1967 Impala Sport Sedan (4dr hardtop) with factory air and a 327... then by episode 200 we see the car has changed to a red big block that we know from behind the scenes to be a 502. The episode "Baby" is a great tribute to see many studio cars used again on screen on purpose and you'll see a Caprice Horn button for example.
I didn't expect Dean Winchester to be in this video....
And the Chevy Impala is a beautiful piece of engineering...
This is my favorite car I born 1997 when i saw this car damn is looks amazing i don't care about Ferrari or Lamborghini..
1967 impala is the best
Que legal cara ! PARABÉNS !!! Eu adoro essa série mano, sério muito top. E o artista quando é humilde, nossa meu Deus é admirável !!!
Still building and selling?
Lilac City Comicon 2023, I got to see Baby make an appearance. Beautiful car.
Please I love this so much 😭. Plus he ended up getting a car to bring home !!🖤
I think I would probably sell my soul for this car. When a car becomes this sexy it becomes a work of art.
See you at the crossroads
At the rate these cars are priced at these days your soul wouldn't cut it.
U just had to add the song didn't u? Lol. Just watched the last episode. And that songs gets me
I love 67 impala my mom had one when I was a kid back in 1976 blue 4 door
When I was younger (9 or 10) I had the chance to buy a 67 4 door for $50. At that time, I wasn't into cars. Now, I kick myself daily for not getting it. If I can find one, I wanna do a twin turbo big block, a built 6L80E, fully independent rear suspension out of a C3 Corvette, and a narrowed 9".
What engine and exhaust does the car at 0:12 have? 327 with a certain glass-pack? I keep seeing all these replicas, but none of them quite sound right. Thanks! You guys did a fantastic job!
the black car was a 383, the red one is a 327. the mufflers, dual exhaust, H pipe, and headers were identical (flow master 40 series) and so the difference in tone was all cubic inches. the show pipes in sound clips, so you may struggle to replicate it in your own car, but the exhaust I described above is show accurate and that's why these small blocks sound right.
Lots of work for a 2500$ car lot of 4 doors around where I live cheap no one wants them maybe parts cars
it's a thing called Supernatural on TV. it's not really in any class of cars judged by numbers matching or numbers of doors. it's pop culture now, a replica like the time machine, blues brothers, general lee, Ateam or Mystery Machine vans, knightrider, ghostbusters 59 caddie etc
Where do you live!? I want to nab me one!
Posta mais vídeos muito bom melhor carro do mundo sem dúvidas.
With or without the spotlights?? When Dean rebuilt the Impala after John died he didn't put the spotlights back, there had been one on each side, Dean left them off. So. Is your rebuild with or without the spotlights? Will there be a commemorative licence plate, and will it be first season or the other plate? There are a ton of details that people picked up while watching the show, you can leave one or two off easily, but people will notice.
That's a nice car. back in the late seventy's i repainted a 1967 SS427 four speed Impala for a friend and got to drive it.
that has to be one of the best cars ever made! closest we will come is doing a 2dr with a 427 and Muncie in it later this year
Owned one b4 the show was on tv loved this car b4 the show still have it today i also have another one but its a 4 door sedan "post" i drive daily my 4 dr ht is black my 4 dr sedan is green.🇺🇲
became my favourite car after watching Supernatural.... too bad its not available in Singapore...
My dream car maybe one day I get one
4 doors were never really considered classic hot rodding
no they weren't. this is a pop culture demand for people wanting a replica of a tv show car. supernatural did however make this "sport sedan" (2" chopped roof line with no post between the windows) pretty bad ass in black with a 502 bbc
Mere pass hai impala
Its nice to see he enjoy a Red Impala, the 1967 Impalas was a great car, I personally drove a SS, also red with black interior. People don't have idea how big this Chevrolets was.
He loves to see Impalas in different colors. He had similar reactions to the blue one and the ones with original interiors. He really enjoyed the cars we brought to the Family Business Brewery
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen
Baby
do the seats fold all the way down so you can sleep in it on road trips?
right?! that would be a cool mod if built like an rv and the whole car was like a queen bed. but no, they are fixed bench seats with bolts as was from GM
Brings a tear to my eye 😭
Have u already sold the car cause if not I’d be so down to buy it
send us a message. I have some info for you. MaupinMetal.com
After searching I finally found my own baby but in white. She runs and drives. I wanted to do maybe a replica lite if there is such a thing. I'm not rich and I have no idea on how much it would cost or is there somethings I could leave off to keep the price down. Love what you guys do. I'm in PA. Got no problem shipping to you
We'd be happy to work on it. Our wait list has been running about 10-12 months on average. Not every car has to be a frame off restoration and perfect replica. You may find the best value is a local paint shop to turn it black, add the wheels and then decide what's next. Most the interior can go buckskin with SEM rattle cans.
@@maupinmetal Cool! Thanks for reply!
Want to keep the cost down? Leave out the weapons
@@terryjaster4771 I couldn't have that in my trunk anyway. I'm black, it could cost me my life in a traffic stop before I could explain
This is incredible, I’d do anything for one of these haha
Omg I love it
That finale pissed me off 😭 dean should have had a full life
no arguments here! the ending script writing must be hard to have closure and yet still leave loop holes to come back as a movie or limited run series in the future!
Dean just wanted peace. Sam wanted to live a long life. They both got what they wanted. And at the end they once again reunited. Awesome freaking show.
@@bradnobel1124 Absolutely agree
Don't Spoiler i started:(
Reminds me of my Dad's '67 Bel-Air, black four door post
Did he ever bring you his baby?
our biz is booming, so just a matter of timing? hope so, hope paths cross again
I’m am so jealous this is my dream car
Building ours now. Just picked up the last exterior piece needed. Front bumper guards. Now for paint and some body work.
congrats! enjoy the process, its all fun
O love you car, sou brasileiro 🇧🇷 e amo ❤️ esse carro👏💪👍.
I love the 67 impala
It's one of the best cars in the world!
I’m loving that red! I read somewhere that Jared is more of a car guy.
perhaps, haven't met Jared in a car setting but I can tell you Jensen was super excited to sit in every car that day and have long conversations with the owner, relishing in the car details about engines, weapons boxes, paint and spot lights. He got into it
@@maupinmetal Jared is indead the true Petrolhead. He also still has is first car, if I remember right it's a '69 Camaro.
Where are the cop spot lights............
Love impalas
I would build one with twin turbos
Супер 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Does the price is lower when you build one from just a shell or when you get a ready one
interesting question. Here's some advice on those options... if a private seller did a good job restoring it but cuts his losses and sells cheap, you can get a better price at his expense his loss, but rarely will you get a deal on a finished "pro" built high quality build because doing it correctly is also really expensive and businesses don't like to lose money whereas some private sellers will lose money to get rid of it. Maupin Metal only restores cars owned by the client and their best deals come from only paying for exactly what they want and nothing extra. I think this is the best Value = Price + Quality. The worst value is paying for someone's finished car and learn later you need to go back and add more parts and labor
My favorite show I would love to buy this car How much to make me one just like this one?
it's significant but that's what we do full time as a shop now building 6 at time. we have a 6 month+ wait list and minimum contracts of $15k... full replicas with big blocks and the best of everything in a frame off restoration / spn conversion is going to be some 85k including the initial car purchase.
@@maupinmetal pls answer me
@@kourdos4858 we are in Dallas TX
Sure wish you were in TN!
what kind of engine is that or can i get all of the build of the car
that one was our serial number #001 and long since sold. we build them custom specs to whatever you want at Maupin Metal in Dallas TX. that particular car was a screen accurate small block, but even though it looked like the show on the surface, underneath was actually a 425hp 383 stroker mated to a 4spd overdrive transmission. It had 4 wheel 6 piston brakes from a corvette and dual exhaust with 40 series Flowmasters
Супер!
Amazing
Fuuuuuuuuuuuck
How much are you asking for it
To some degree you can control the budget based on your own custom choices. We most often do frame-off restorations and all our builds have a year wait list and another year to build with most clients putting in 75k +/- 25k.
IT'S MISSING THE CHROME SPOTLIGHTS ON EACH SIDE THOUGH
optional. I like the early season spotlights personally but still optional for doing a replica given only there for a short while
@@maupinmetal I HEAR U BRO, WHOEVER GETS THIS BAD RIDE CAN ADD THE SPOTLIGHTS IF THEY LIKE
thank you
Jensen should put the spotlights back on.
If i earn money this will be what i buy
So does he resell ?
I built it, sold it, they sold it. Current owner is keeping it.
딘이 타던 임팔라를 너무 타고 싶어요!!!!
Do you also do full restorations?
absolutely. That's our main business model, restoring a client's car full frame off built to their exact preferences

I would love to own this car 4 doors not 2 doors
I think the sport sedan 4 door is the most balanced good look for this year Impala. 2 doors are just as long but too stretched out for my taste too!
i have exact car but on a 68. pillarless has 6 tailights. is it worth as a 67? is kinda sexi car has good lines. devating painting it black or aqua blue...
@@OSCARHERNANDEZ-un5iy both good colors. Black would be more like the 1967 hardtop in the Supernatural TV show, and Supernatural clones are worth the most, even more than many SS models. The 68 hardtop if made to look like a black 67 Supernatural Impala would be more valuable but of course not as valuable as actual 67 replicas like the one in the video.
how much this supernatural cars run for ? i bought mine for 4500 w brand new engine disk brakes trans. so im investing on the upholstery 2k n 7k body work n paint
@@OSCARHERNANDEZ-un5iy Buying the 1967 Impala Sport Sedans and then having them built just like the show with a high end (frame-off, media blasted etc) classic car restoration will run $60k small block, $80k big block on average. Again that's a well built car that is also SPN themed correctly.... anything less like wrong year, wrong model, poor restoration, will lower the price and I've seen nice 'driver quality' examples sell for $25k-$40k.
