What I like most about Shawn is he asks a question, then lets the person on his show run with it. Doesn't interrupt, lets them finish, and then asks meaningful, pertinent questions. I find this RARE. He never tries to talk someone down or interrupt them. Good on ya Shawn. Keep it up.
The problem is sean didn’t challenge the captain at all. He never raised any devils advocate questions or challenged his narrative. But I get it he’s not a journalist so take it with a grain a salt

He isn't here trying to get to the truth of things, which is why I really enjoy his Podcast. He lets people tell their story and asks good, intelligent questions to carry the story on. It means his guests trust him and he can have really interesting people on that aren't on guard for being ambushed.
I’m a swcc-drop from February of 2021. Captain Geary and his cmc made the decision to not let us go home for Christmas and many other students resented him for it. The cmc was a typical hard man about it but the CO told all of us while we were standing on the frog feet his decision making process behind why he decided that. He was very respectful when he didn’t have to be. Construction on base everywhere was true. The Covid situation was an absolute nightmare out there. I really appreciated listening to his side of things, it helped me understand things from their perspective. As far as the peds, he was brave enough to do this so I will return the respect he gave us that Christmas. I am not sure about the pelican case story the student told the instructor but yes, they were prevalent between both classes swcc and seal and his suspicions were true. His suspensions were aimed a year after I quit but were happening way before that. They tried hard to find them but it goes beyond the cars on base. Students thought they could search our cars so they kept their “stash” off base with the guys in the class that were E5s or married. We had a guy that was from San Diego in the class before mine that openly talked about how it worked. I hope this gets passed on to Captain Geary but I want to state that this issue went above the students and I want to tell you where I heard it started. Guys were talking about in Prep that their seal mentors had told them how the “process” worked as far as drug testing goes. Their mentors from regions had told them that there was an initial drug test when they first get to Coronado but then not again after that. So from the mouth of the mentors guys understood that if they took peds after they had that drug test they wouldn’t be caught after. So they would start taking them right after. That being said if Kyle had did that he might not have known the side effects they would have had which led to his death. This was also going on in Great Lakes prep before I left for Coronado. We even had a guy named Kaiser die from opioid overdose after using what we believe to have been a form of peds. This is a real problem and this Captain doesn’t deserve to be steam rolled by big navy the way turds in the fleet do. If I can help testify in his case I can provide a written testimony with specifics. Thanks for your honesty sir and the powerful learning lessons I gained out there, he really did tell us we were of the .001% of the population and gave us motivational support. I’ll never forget that.

Hell, PED’s to help guys in any special operations job should be done under a doctor’s supervision, with legit pharmaceutical-compounded supplements, NOT stuff that’s bought south of the border that could be contaminated with who knows what. The problem is, guys looking for a little extra help with recovery etc, just go about it the wrong way. It’s a science. Unfortunately most guys don’t put in the effort to do things the right way. It’s been proven safe & effective if done under a doctor’s supervision. Just look at TRT etc. PED’s in the spec ops/military/LEO communities is nothing new, and I believe those that do those jobs SHOULD have an edge, and be stronger, faster, and more fit than the average person. I was one of Brad and Amy's youth pastors. I have known them since middle school. Integrity has always been central. When Brad was a middle school kid in the band, I told him he would do great things; he asked me why I said that, and I told him, "Because you have character." When he graduated seal school he sent me a letter and thanked me for that trust. I still trust him. I have walked through this journey with them in a small way. Consider the cost of lies to our nation: the financial cost of this investigation, the loss of influence of a leader like this man and the loss of trust of a generation of warriors going forward. It is foolish to sacrifice truth in exchange for supporting a lie. I would say everyone knows that, but apparently not. I refer to Brad and Amy as my kids, I am so proud to say that. I would be just as proud if he had worked a shift at a fast-food restaurant, but I have felt safer knowing he was out there for his children and mine. We are not simply losing a warrior; we are losing the safety he provides.

I just saw Sean read the letter of the Navy dismissing all charges, so I came and watched the last 2.5 hours of the podcast to get the facts of the case. This is one of the most moving, courageous, disturbing, and corrupt thing I've ever heard. How could so many people be so corrupt at all levels? This careerism, and self-promotion and willingness to lie - by professionals in violation of their code of ethics by law - is absolutely soul-crushing, and enlightening to uncover. Now we see them. Now we know who they are. Thank you Brad for exposing yourself, your life, and everything you've gone through, so the rest of can witness TRUTH and REALITY. As a retired Navy Chief, I recognize real leadership and Captain Geary is a leader I would have loved to serve with. Big Navy has a bad habit of eating it's young to cover it's rear and this is a perfect example. I'm glad to hear that all possible charges have been dropped thanks to Captain Geary's strong leadership and The Shawn Ryan Show's ability to bring an injustice to the public's attention.

I’ve chipped away at this episode over the last week. My emotions have run the spectrum over the six hour period. This episode is a must watch for every military member, past, present, and future, as well as any tax paying civilian who cares about the disintegrating moral fabric of our nations military senior leadership. Leaders who’ve seemingly become nothing more than politicians in a uniform, willing to sacrifice honor, integrity, and heroes like Capt Geary to maintain their filthy pedestals and woke policies. I am super grateful for all the men on this episode. Keep them, and their families, in your prayers.

Hi Brad, you probably don't remember me, but I have known you for many years. My wife and I were at your wedding to Amy. After your Seal training, I prayed for you and with you at small home prayer meetings and followed you through your career. I watched every minute of your discussion with Shawn Ryan. I am proud of you - as a man, a US Navy Seal, a husband, a father, a friend, a leader, a warfighter, and a follower of Jesus Christ, you are a model of strength and integrity. You exemplify every trait you sought to instill in the Seals and Seal trainees you lead. I could not be more proud of you if you were my son. There is much that I could say about your unjust experience in the Kyle Mullen matter, but I want to expand on something you said near the end of the interview. You spoke of the cost to America for the wrongful death suit being brought by the Mullen family. Yes, it may cost millions of dollars. Still, the more significant cost to the American people is the loss of you as a Navy Seal CO. We will surely suffer losses that will occur without your wise leadership, and we will never have the benefit of the gains we would have achieved through your exceptional character and strength. I fear these losses and profits will be measured in dollars and American lives. I am confident that whatever the outcome of this matter, you will continue to build character in those around you and lead many in successfully achieving the objectives set before you - by your faithfulness and the strength of the God you honor and serve. Jim, thank you for such powerful words. Yes, I remember you well. Thank you for following our career over the years and accompanying us with prayer. We've felt them through our many seasons of mountaintop moments...and valleys. I also appreciate your insights about what the Navy is willing to so quickly throw away. This is part of why we chose to speak out. We genuinely hope our story forces necessary change and makes the Navy better for the next generation of warfighters. Our story is a symptom of a larger problem that is absolutely linked to our recruitment and retention problems. With potential conflicts over the horizon of both major oceans, this is a national security issue for the future of our great nation.

After 20 years in Australian SAS Regiment I’ve lost many friends & it’s always such a difficult time! It’s the bond that you have between each other - Brothers!

The portrayal of post combat and post trauma reactivity (especially suppression and rage) is one of the most accurate descriptions I’ve ever heard/seen (and I’ve dealt with combat/trauma survivors from WW 2 through Iraq/Afghanistan). Capt Geary hits it all.
There was an incident where I cried in USCG bootcamp and just got a new asshole reamed for like 24 hours. Part of the firearms course involved the CC tightly wrapping both arms until feeling was lost on the hands. The wraps stayed on for the entire exercise. We had to shoot the course in the prone position, with loss of blood flow and feeling in the arms, demonstrating that we could still shoot, change magazines and clear a snag. I started crying, but not crying. It was more like "physiological tears." I could not help the flowing of tears. I wasn't freaking out or scared, just tears. The following morning, when I woke up, I could not bend either arm. I had to get help to climb out of my top bunk. I couldn't bend my arms at all, not even to put a fork to my mouth. I didn't eat for 24 hours. My arms no longer fit in the sleeve openings of my uniform. But, I sure as hell wasn't going to tell anyone. Eventually, the CC noticed that I couldn't eat. So they sent me to medical. Yep. You guessed it: rhabdomyolysis. I had treatments and light duty for two weeks; which caused even more BS backlash and shaming. Then, they said I could drop out, if I wanted to. I was like, "Are you fucking kidding me? Hell no I'm not dropping out." Anyway....those are female tears .
Captain Geary is one of the most professional individuals I’ve seen and I grew up in a military family. God speed Captain and thank you for your service sir.

This entire interview was riveting. My husband and I, and even our teen son, listened to all 6 hours willingly. We identified with so much of Capt Geary’s emphasis on truth and virtue having walked a similar journey the last few years during the Covid mandates while still in the USMC. Praise God we were able to retire despite my husband having his command removed, threats of punitive action, threats of review boards, and threats to deny retirement. We are praying for you, Geary Family. Thank you for your courage. Your resolve. Your willingness to fight for Truth. Thank you to both Jason and Davis for your work and passion in defending Truth. We are with you and will continue standing in the gap from across the miles.

Here is a letter that I sent to my congressional rep that anyone can use as a template. I'm asking you to join the team investigating what the Navy is doing to Captain Bradley Geary, his cadre, and their medical professionals. The number of investigations, lies, and cover-ups needs to be addressed. The House Armed Services Committee asked the Navy questions over a year ago with no response. Captain Bradley Geary released a show on Monday, August 5, 2024, with Shawn Ryan that exposes so much deception, reprisal, and the Navy lying to the American public. He talks about information Congress has already released about the drug ring, Kyles’ text messages with other navy members, and a bad injection from the drug dealer, his heart being almost twice the size of a normal heart and restructured (showing signs of PED abuse or a pre-existing condition). Navy members have come forward wanting immunity but want to testify that they saw Kyle inject after three physicians completed med checks. The Navy has looked the other way. Captain Brad Geary will get the truth out. I implore you to do the right thing and look into this. Do the right thing for these people and all who you represent. Please investigate and ask what the Navy is trying to do to NSW, the cadre, and the medical professionals and what they are hiding. Watch the Shawn Ryan show that came out on Monday, Aug 5, 2024. We need Naval Special Warfare Command. We need fantastic leaders who have integrity. Please help. Feel free to contact me. Shawn, what an interview. It makes me question everything I have ever experienced as a veteran and retired police officer. Captain Geary is a man among many children in the Navy. This man has more compassion, leadership, ethics and self-awareness, and every other trait I have ever seen in one person. Captain, thank you for your continued service under the diversity that you are under. We wonder why great men quit leading the way. Mind blown! I'm not even sure what to say other than this was the best six hours of social media I've ever spent! The integrity of character displayed and the faith lived in real time is exponentially awesome! I actually remember the Discovery Channel documentary with Capt Geary and others. We watched it with our kids when they were young, and they still think it's the best thing they've ever seen. They still quote it to this day. I grew up with Adam and he is 100% correct. The number of people that have been impacted by Adam’s story is unbelievable. I’ve handed out dozens of Fearless books and have heard a lot people talk about how his story impacted them.
This was single-handedly the most powerful and awe inspiring episode I have ever seen. It took me three days to finally get through it, but I hung on every single moment of this officers amazing journey and his continued fight, not just for himself and his family, but for those that were under his command, as well. You are an inspiration, sir, and I thank Shawn Ryan and everyone at Vigilance Elite for helping to bring this story to the public.
I'm surprised I watched an almost 6 hour long podcast. But Captain Geary is an exceptional person, even among exceptional people. From riveting stories in battle and stories of brutal loss, all the way on to having to fight through an unbelievably surreal injustice after all he had been through. Simply cannot believe that would be dumped on someone having served with so much distinction.
I was looking at this guy in the beginning like I knew him. I couldn't put my finger on it until he mentioned he was class 234. Crazy watching him grow up from being a pup in BUDs to becoming an established leader. Makes a man want to cry.

I cried I don’t know how many times in this interview as a civilian we really had and have no clue and I’m thankful for this interview to be able to let us know what you service man and families go through (just a small glimpse) and the character of men and woman that are on the front line. In addition to there being veterans in the House of Representatives, many are authentic followers of Jesus - and many other believers who did not serve in the military. They recognize that we wage battle against flesh and blood, but against the powers and principalities of the air. This is the source of Capt. Geary’s ability to love and forgive even those who insidiously plot to take him down. As Joseph declared in Genesis 50:20, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” He has the amazing faith and fortitude to keep his eyes fixated on the future and trust the Lord for the outcome. It’s an honor and privilege to pray for my son as he continues this quest for the lies and duplicities to see the light of day. May the Lord protect him from the darts of the enemy.

What I like most about Shawn is he asks a question, then lets the person on his show run with it. Doesn't interrupt, lets them finish, and then asks meaningful, pertinent questions. I find this RARE. He never tries to talk someone down or interrupt them. Good on ya Shawn. Keep it up.

I’m a swcc-drop from February of 2021. Captain Geary and his cmc made the decision to not let us go home for Christmas and many other students resented him for it. The cmc was a typical hard man about it but the CO told all of us while we were standing on the frog feet his decision making process behind why he decided that. He was very respectful when he didn’t have to be. Construction on base everywhere was true. The Covid situation was an absolute nightmare out there. I really appreciated listening to his side of things, it helped me understand things from their perspective. As far as the peds, he was brave enough to do this so I will return the respect he gave us that Christmas. I am not sure about the pelican case story the student told the instructor but yes, they were prevalent between both classes swcc and seal and his suspicions were true. His suspensions were aimed a year after I quit but were happening way before that. They tried hard to find them but it goes beyond the cars on base. Students thought they could search our cars so they kept their “stash” off base with the guys in the class that were E5s or married. We had a guy that was from San Diego in the class before mine that openly talked about how it worked. I hope this gets passed on to Captain Geary but I want to state that this issue went above the students and I want to tell you where I heard it started. Guys were talking about in Prep that their seal mentors had told them how the “process” worked as far as drug testing goes. Their mentors from regions had told them that there was an initial drug test when they first get to Coronado but then not again after that. So from the mouth of the mentors guys understood that if they took peds after they had that drug test they wouldn’t be caught after. So they would start taking them right after. That being said if Kyle had did that he might not have known the side effects they would have had which led to his death. This was also going on in Great Lakes prep before I left for Coronado. We even had a guy named Kaiser die from opioid overdose after using what we believe to have been a form of peds. This is a real problem and this Captain doesn’t deserve to be steam rolled by big navy the way turds in the fleet do. If I can help testify in his case I can provide a written testimony with specifics. Thanks for your honesty sir and the powerful learning lessons I gained out there, he really did tell us we were of the .001% of the population and gave us motivational support. I’ll never forget that.

Hell, PED’s to help guys in any special operations job should be done under a doctor’s supervision, with legit pharmaceutical-compounded supplements, NOT stuff that’s bought south of the border that could be contaminated with who knows what. I was one of Brad and Amy's youth pastors. I have known them since middle school. Integrity has always been central. When Brad was a middle school kid in the band, I told him he would do great things; he asked me why I said that, and I told him, "Because you have character." When he graduated seal school he sent me a letter and thanked me for that trust. I still trust him. I have walked through this journey with them in a small way. Consider the cost of lies to our nation: the financial cost of this investigation, the loss of influence of a leader like this man and the loss of trust of a generation of warriors going forward. It is foolish to sacrifice truth in exchange for supporting a lie. I would say everyone knows that, but apparently not. I refer to Brad and Amy as my kids, I am so proud to say that. I would be just as proud if he had worked a shift at a fast-food restaurant, but I have felt safer knowing he was out there for his children and mine. As a retired Navy Chief, I recognize real leadership and Captain Geary is a leader I would have loved to serve with. Big Navy has a bad habit of eating it's young to cover it's rear and this is a perfect example. I'm glad to hear that all possible charges have been dropped thanks to Captain Geary's strong leadership and The Shawn Ryan Show's ability to bring an injustice to the public's attention.
I wasn’t sure a 6-hour interview could keep my interest, but it felt like 30 minutes. So many amazing stories and even more amazing the lengths those in power take to keep the truth from coming out. Stay strong CAPT Geary!

Hi Brad, you probably don't remember me, but I have known you for many years. My wife and I were at your wedding to Amy. After your Seal training, I prayed for you and with you at small home prayer meetings and followed you through your career. I watched every minute of your discussion with Shawn Ryan. I am proud of you - as a man, a US Navy Seal, a husband, a father, a friend, a leader, a warfighter, and a follower of Jesus Christ, you are a model of strength and integrity. You exemplify every trait you sought to instill in the Seals and Seal trainees you lead. I could not be more proud of you if you were my son. There is much that I could say about your unjust experience in the Kyle Mullen matter, but I want to expand on something you said near the end of the interview. You spoke of the cost to America for the wrongful death suit being brought by the Mullen family. Yes, it may cost millions of dollars. Still, the more significant cost to the American people is the loss of you as a Navy Seal CO. We will surely suffer losses that will occur without your wise leadership, and we will never have the benefit of the gains we would have achieved through your exceptional character and strength. I fear these losses and profits will be measured in dollars and American lives. I am confident that whatever the outcome of this matter, you will continue to build character in those around you and lead many in successfully achieving the objectives set before you - by your faithfulness and the strength of the God you honor and serve. I also appreciate your insights about what the Navy is willing to so quickly throw away. This is part of why we chose to speak out. We genuinely hope our story forces necessary change and makes the Navy better for the next generation of warfighters. Our story is a symptom of a larger problem that is absolutely linked to our recruitment and retention problems. With potential conflicts over the horizon of both major oceans, this is a national security issue for the future of our great nation.

The portrayal of post combat and post trauma reactivity (especially suppression and rage) is one of the most accurate descriptions I’ve ever heard/seen (and I’ve dealt with combat/trauma survivors from WW 2 through Iraq/Afghanistan). Capt Geary hits it all.

There was an incident where I cried in USCG bootcamp and just got a new asshole reamed for like 24 hours. Part of the firearms course involved the CC tightly wrapping both arms until feeling was lost on the hands. The wraps stayed on for the entire exercise. We had to shoot the course in the prone position, with loss of blood flow and feeling in the arms, demonstrating that we could still shoot, change magazines and clear a snag.
I started crying, but not crying. It was more like "physiological tears." I could not help the flowing of tears. I wasn't freaking out or scared, just tears.
The following morning, when I woke up, I could not bend either arm. I had to get help to climb out of my top bunk. I couldn't bend my arms at all, not even to put a fork to my mouth. I didn't eat for 24 hours. My arms no longer fit in the sleeve openings of my uniform.
But, I sure as hell wasn't going to tell anyone.
Eventually, the CC noticed that I couldn't eat. So they sent me to medical. Yep. You guessed it: rhabdomyolysis. I had treatments and light duty for two weeks; which caused even more BS backlash and shaming. Then, they said I could drop out, if I wanted to.
I was like, "Are you fucking kidding me? Hell no I'm not dropping out."
Anyway....those are female tears .

This entire interview was riveting. My husband and I, and even our teen son, listened to all 6 hours willingly. We identified with so much of Capt Geary’s emphasis on truth and virtue having walked a similar journey the last few years during the Covid mandates while still in the USMC. Praise God we were able to retire despite my husband having his command removed, threats of punitive action, threats of review boards, and threats to deny retirement. We are praying for you, Geary Family. Thank you for your courage. Your resolve. Your willingness to fight for Truth. Thank you to both Jason and Davis for your work and passion in defending Truth. We are with you and will continue standing in the gap from across the miles.

In my opinion, this was one of the best interviews put out on here. Captain spoke so clearly and educated about facts directly associated rather than speculation was insane. I was hooked and listened to the entire episode at work. Incredibly hard to do as a police officer, but I was invested and couldn’t stop.

Here is a letter that I sent to my congressional rep that anyone can use as a template.
I'm asking you to join the team investigating what the Navy is doing to Captain Bradley Geary, his cadre, and their medical professionals. The number of investigations, lies, and cover-ups needs to be addressed. The House Armed Services Committee asked the Navy questions over a year ago with no response. Captain Bradley Geary released a show on Monday, August 5, 2024, with Shawn Ryan that exposes so much deception, reprisal, and the Navy lying to the American public. He talks about information Congress has already released about the drug ring, Kyles’ text messages with other navy members, and a bad injection from the drug dealer, his heart being almost twice the size of a normal heart and restructured (showing signs of PED abuse or a pre-existing condition). Navy members have come forward wanting immunity but want to testify that they saw Kyle inject after three physicians completed med checks. The Navy has looked the other way. Captain Brad Geary will get the truth out. I implore you to do the right thing and look into this. Do the right thing for these people and all who you represent. Please investigate and ask what the Navy is trying to do to NSW, the cadre, and the medical professionals and what they are hiding. Watch the Shawn Ryan show that came out on Monday, Aug 5, 2024. We need Naval Special Warfare Command. We need fantastic leaders who have integrity. Please help. Feel free to contact me. Shawn, what an interview. It makes me question everything I have ever experienced as a veteran and retired police officer. Captain Geary is a man among many children in the Navy. This man has more compassion, leadership, ethics and self-awareness, and every other trait I have ever seen in one person. We watched it with our kids when they were young, and they still think it's the best thing they've ever seen. They still quote it to this day. This was single-handedly the most powerful and awe inspiring episode I have ever seen. It took me three days to finally get through it, but I hung on every single moment of this officers amazing journey and his continued fight, not just for himself and his family, but for those that were under his command, as well. I'm surprised I watched an almost 6 hour long podcast. But Captain Geary is an exceptional person, even among exceptional people. From riveting stories in battle and stories of brutal loss, all the way on to having to fight through an unbelievably surreal injustice after all he had been through. Simply cannot believe that would be dumped on someone having served with so much distinction.

Brad, if you read this…I had the crazy Husky on the corner and retired as a Chief. The same stuff you are calling out, I called out and it sank my career. I hope and pray for you and your family. It is a shame that the Navy is going after a dedicated leader and Warrior such as yourself. Stay in the fight Captain you have many people behind you.

I cried I don’t know how many times in this interview as a civilian we really had and have no clue and I’m thankful for this interview to be able to let us know what you service man and families go through (just a small glimpse) and the character of men and woman that are on the front line. I feel blessed to have been able to hear this his interview (thank you) this interview fundamentally changed me shifted me. We the People can never repay or comprehend your brother and sister’s in arms sacrifices for our Great Country and your fellow Americans. God Bless you and thank you for your Service

Currently there are 82 Veterans in The House of Representatives. That number includes Navy SEALS, Green Berets, Rangers, and so many others. Hopefully they will intercede and be able to help Captain Brad Geary. God bless and protect our active Military, our Veterans, and their families. We don’t know them All, but we owe them All.

In addition to there being veterans in the House of Representatives, many are authentic followers of Jesus - and many other believers who did not serve in the military. They recognize that we wage battle against flesh and blood, but against the powers and principalities of the air. This is the source of Capt. Geary’s ability to love and forgive even those who insidiously plot to take him down. As Joseph declared in Genesis 50:20, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” He has the amazing faith and fortitude to keep his eyes fixated on the future and trust the Lord for the outcome. It’s an honor and privilege to pray for my son as he continues this quest for the lies and duplicities to see the light of day. May the Lord protect him from the darts of the enemy.
