I’m actually really impressed with the design of this tablet and keyboard. Made some smart changes on top of what apple did and it’s so nice that you can get it for nothing extra atm
There is another feature you didn’t mention which is one of the biggest reasons I use this tablet daily. It has a source-in connector at the bottom right hand corner, and it works to perfection as a secondary monitor that is also a tablet by itself. Very impressed.
Love that this whole package feels complete with all the accessories. I personally like large screen tablets too, since I use mine for media consumption and drawing. Thanks for the review!
Great video! So detailed as always! I have a Samsung tab S8 ultra and I've been looking into new tablets but honestly man, Dex is so powerful that i literally use it as my mainly "PC" and the floating Windows style are priceless, so convenient. This looks sleek and nice. And also too, it's great to know the bundle includes both the stylus and the keyboard case. But man, that's such a huge tablet tho.
Very nice, no-nonsense, kind of video. I wish every product review video was like this. No hysterics, no dramatics, just simple review with a straight forward face.

I just went over to Lenovo to check this out and it took me directly to Best Buy's site. I'm amazed it's under $1k and includes the keyboard and the stylus. I disagree with the trackpad gestures. Coming from a laptop user the trackpad gesture scheme is universal in Windows and Linux, it came off natural for me.

Wow! 14.5" tablet is quite huge! Really good review for a niche product from Lenovo! I really like how Lenovo can just easily build a large tablet and its accessories for lower pricepoint than Apple and Samsung. My Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 was only 355USD, 47USD keyboard case, 40USD pen. The title compares the lenovo tab to samsung tab but ends up comparing it to ipad on the video and recommends getting ipad instead. It would be better to just focus comparing it against other high end android tablets instead of ipad because if you're an ipad user, no matter what android tablets you get, you'll always recommend an ipad unless it's really good enough to rival an ipad. However, price of an Ipad is not even as close to the price of this lenovo so it's weird to compare them to each other.

Thanks for a great review as always Ben, been eyeing this since it got announced but ultimately going for a laptop instead. Just curious tho, does this particular tablet have pc mode or productivity mode like in the p12 pro?
There are only a few negatives for this if you are in the market for this type of device, and as the review says, that is a niche starting point. My main worry is that its software support will not be good; compared to an iPad, it may be four years less, so an investment of $1000 with that knowledge makes it a tough buy. Also, having tried the Tab S8 Ultra, after the novelty wears off, it is just a massive Android device, and again, for the money, $1300 in the Tab S8 Ultra case, there are far more valuable products. Lastly, the iPad Pro 12.9 is just better in almost every regard. I bought an M2 for £200 off, and as I already had the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard, it cost similar to the Lenovo. Still, nice to see the competition, as Apple had a stellar Q1/23, taking over 50% of the worldwide tablet market; understandable as they are the best, but that is only sometimes good for consumers.
sadly oled screens use pwm to adjust the brightness So if you are sensitive to 'flickering' of the screen you may end up with eyestrain, headaches, nausua etc....why do reviewers never mention this?
For content consumption, yes. But for anyone who wants to use the thing for work, Win11 would have been perfect. But this should give Samsung a run for their money for anyone who wants to save a little money on a media consumption device.
I don't see the point in very large Android Tablets or iPads. The OS on both is unsuitable. If it shipped with Chrome OS with Android App support, then it would make more sense.
@@localblackman427 I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, so I know from experience how bad Android Apps are on tablets. Which tablets apps are great? They are just blown up phone apps. Apple center stage is already a copy. My 10+ years old Logitech camera had that feature. Erm, that split screen thing and pop up windows. How is that an iOS copy. Samsung been doing that YEARS before Apple. And Lenova been working on that for quite some time. I think they were doing a kind of pop up before Apple as well.
5 hours of working situation battery backup too less for a 12000 mah battery even with the higher refresh rate. To undercut the competition Lenovo went with Dimensity which is very bad at battery management. A Snapdragon processor will be munch more appreciated.

For content consumption, yes. But for anyone who wants to use the thing for work, Win11 would have been perfect. But this should give Samsung a run for their money for anyone who wants to save a little money on a media consumption device.
Can you use it as external monitor? Hdmi in?
I don't see the point in very large Android Tablets or iPads. The OS on both is unsuitable. If it shipped with Chrome OS with Android App support, then it would make more sense.
You're a little outdated on how great tablet apps are
@@localblackman427 I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, so I know from experience how bad Android Apps are on tablets. Which tablets apps are great? They are just blown up phone apps. Nearly every major reviewer online has said that iPad Pro needs a desktop interface, so it's not just me who thinks tablets apps are naff.
When you said lower price, I was thinking $500-$700. Not $949 🤷🏾♀️
Lenovo is brilliant to come up with a keyboard and cover, and then stylus pen package like this. So voting for this 😂, no matter what samsung think of me
Its the best of the S8 Ultra & iPad!
great, you are someone who demo zui system
Just got an s9 ultra that kind of regret it because that lenovo magic keyboard looks great.
How is it for reading on apps like Kindle?
does it have a wacom digitizer?
hello sir...where can i buy this tab ?
I'll stick with s8 ultra. Especially with s9 ultra coming out. Should be great deals available soon. Combined with trade ins too
Awesome review!

What was the name of that game you mentioned? My son would love a tractor game like that.

Without a notch even!
weight size and screen makes it a great device.
i have p12 pro.... but i should look forward to this..
I'm not seeing this tablet for sale anywhere
The display alone is far better than what you get on an iPad
1215U is doa and shud sell for $199
My brother just play genshin and combat master
This will be the perfect fit
Apple center stage is already a copy. My 10+ years old Logitech camera had that feature.
Erm, that split screen thing and pop up windows. How is that an iOS copy. Samsung been doing that YEARS before Apple. And Lenova been working on that for quite some time. I think they were doing a kind of pop up before Apple as well.
5 hours of working situation battery backup too less for a 12000 mah battery even with the higher refresh rate.
To undercut the competition Lenovo went with Dimensity which is very bad at battery management. A Snapdragon processor will be munch more appreciated.
Eagerly waiting for your huawei mate x3 review. Please hurry up ben
he already did a fast review.
@soheil adam not asking for hands on bro. Review and first impressions are different
