I thought of another question (sorry). Have you had any incidents of where the slide diver slides all the way down to the swivel right at the fish’s nose? Does it knock the fish off?
If you’re running a spoon you should add a 5-8ft leader before you connect to the swivel. When running a flasher I don’t feel there is a need for the leader..
When running a spoon I will add a 6-8 foot fluorocarbon leader so the diver will not touch the spoon and run the risk of knocking the fish off... If I’m using a flasher or dodger I won’t bother with that...
Another great video Mark ! Thanks
What is the difference between a dipsey diver and a slide diver? Neve
used one but heard of them. Are they just used for shallow presentations?
Great video! Have you found a place to get the vinyl tubing? And also, have you found a place to get the exact sized surgical tubing? Thanks.
You can buying it from slidediver but I’ve also bought different silicone or surgical tubing on eBay or at local stores and made them work.
