I did a year abroad in the US at Kalamazoo College, I remember going to a place called Crow's nest with my best friend Sang. I have one specific memory of us walking there right after binge watching AHS asylum, (the day before we turned in our last final paper of fall term and we had too much caffeine in our systems so we couldn't sleep and pulled an unnecessary all-nighter) . It was snowing and we were in our pj's. This place was so cozy and hipster lol they had the best French toast I ever had. I loooooveee that place, it was our happy place!! I was back in Mexico when I got the news that they closed. I cried my eyes out because I know that even if I go back to K there will be no Crow's nest.

Change is SO hard!! So proud of you for taking it like a champ! I went to college in my hometown, so there isn't really any place I can't go. I used to work at this Italian restaurant in high school though and it changed hands and then went out of business when I started college and I miss that place sooo much!! Luckily it's a small chain - I just have to travel a little if I want to eat there lol
Where I live now I think my two favorite places to eat is "Kao Thai" where I will always choose something with rice and chicken (like sweet and sour, cashew chicken or some kind of curry) or a street food place called "Storms Pakhus" (translated: Storms warehouse, because it is in an old warehouse building) where you can choose from all kinds of stalls from mexican food, thai, indian, italian, vietnamese and so on - it is really nice 🤩 However both are located in Odense, Denmark 😅 but if you swing by one day, you should try it! Haha

North Carolina, Outer Banks there is this one restaurant that is not there anymore that use to serve this sandwich called the "Turducken", the dish was soooooo good that you felt bad every time you took a bite because there was now less of it.
Well, despite what's happening in Lebanon, my favorite place is called house of music. Its a really small bar that is vintage and every night theres a different genre playing, its so cozy and there's board games, on top of that the food is amazing.
there’s this absolute hole-in-the-wall, dive bar in my college town downtown area. it’s the spot where you’ll find professors and super old alumni always coming to. what i would give for a chicken finger basket with spicy ranch and a pear cider 😭 (this is in clemson, sc!)
