As a Korean, funny thing is when the 4B ‘movement’ first started in Korea, it wasn’t much of a matter of choice for us. The life here for both women and men are so competitve and toxic, plus the government doesn’t give a shit about young adults, so naturally we fail to date, fail to marry or have kids. If it makes you feel better it's not so much to "make themselves ugly", it's just a statement against normal beauty standards that they think all men are obsessed with. It's like refusing to wear tight clothes or use makeup, you can't really say it's "to make yourself ugly", it's just that you aren't actively trying to use the normal tools that people use to make themselves attractive. No reason a bald woman can't be attractive, she's just a little different. It mostly comes down to your face, if you have a good face, you will look good either way, if you are just average, having good hair will help cover up the lack of facial beauty (or whatever else). If you have neither, you can still be a good person and from what I have seen its never truly hopeless for any woman. I see guys with women all the time when I'm just baffled how he ended up with her, surely that wasn't the best option available to him. But maybe she has a great personality or something, who knows. It pisses me off seeing it as a male cancer survivor. I know how bad I felt when I lost my hair, so I couldn't begin to imagine how it would feel for a lady. What these people are doing is sick, and everything they supposedly preach against daily.
I had a multiple year long infection on my scalp - it hurt every day. It had to shave my hair because it was so patchy I couldn't hide it. My scalp bled, had pus, swollen, itchy, and everything else. It was horrible! Without hair I look masculine when I want to look feminine. People assumed I had cancer and would tell me where to buy wigs (I couldn't have had them even if I wanted to because it was an INFECTION that was making me bald) or tie scarves for cancer. It was terrible. Men didn't want to date me because I didn't have hair. The process for growing my hair has been long and excruciating- having to pull the hairs out of my scalp since the skin thickened from scarring and from having no hair for a few years. I'm now growing my hair out long and more specifically *healthy*. These women shaving it off without a thought might truly come to regret that. By the way, rose water and rosemary oil in it has made a WONDERFUL difference for my scalp/hair. Sounds kooky, but rose water softens the skin and rosemary oil fosters hair growth. ❤
Ouch! Glad you've got it under control. Mine wasn't so bad but it was falling out and just increasing vegetable intake and/or vegetable juices helped within 3-5days. I also used and overnight onion juice mask once a week for a month...for anyone looking to ad to the rosewater etc. 😉
I'm sorry you went through that, it sounds painful :( But people get to chose how they want their hair to look, even if that makes you feel negative feelings. Maybe some therapy to learn how to let others make their own choices, while accepting the cards you've been dealt will be helpful if it's something that really upsets you? I shaved my head last winter, read the bible, and it was awesome. You don't have to shave your head to read the bible, but it coincided for me, and therefore, I associate shaving of my head as an amazing thing. I felt reborn. No hate for the shave, maybe just concerned over the reasons for shaving.

She talks a grand game all the time and for a good while the big boss was enamored by her, but we knew she had been stealing company resources, travelling around first class on company money promoting her OWN company, bullying us, and all that jazz. Thank you for this video, Bret. Due to complications from pregnancy and the covid vaccines mandated by my work, I lost 90% of my hair. Hair that cascaded down to the middle of my back. A physical feature that I had always felt was my best. Losing that felt like losing a piece of my identity. Walking through postpartum, autoimmunity, two sick parents, and two beautiful children under two, I felt truly stressed and hideous. I was blessed to have a husband and family who never made me feel anything other than beautiful. I'm glad this wasn't happening during that journey of mine. It would have broken my fragile soul. I pray for women who have suffered with alopecia, cancer hair loss, and all other forms of hair loss. It's devastating, but know that empowerment can be found. I was so scared for the future I didn’t know what treatments she needed or if she was going to loose her hair (she needed radiation not chemotherapy so ended up keeping her hair). It was such a hard time. Bless modern medicine because she is so far cancer free. She was diagnosed in November 2020, in August 2019 I chopped over 30cm of hair for a charity to use it to make wigs for children with cancer. My mum was so scared I would regret it, I never did and this year I am proud to say I was able to chop another 30cm off. I will keep doing this for as long as I can, shame to those who take for granted having long pretty healthy hair. I know so many people who had to loose all their hair just to maybe live.

I had a surgical procedure a couple of months ago. Prior to going under the knife, I decided to cut my hair shorter than it had been since childhood. I don't like my short hair, and I can't wait until it grows out!!! I guarantee you that EVERY SINGLE ONE of these women will REGRET having their heads shaved. This "movement" is going to bring on serious "buyer's remorse" in a very short time.
Shaving your head itches SO BAD and it makes your scalp super sensitive. But once it's off you get used to it (as long as you maintain it) It also makes you REALLY cold for the first week or so, so I only shave it in the summer.

If it makes you feel better it's not so much to "make themselves ugly", it's just a statement against normal beauty standards that they think all men are obsessed with. It's like refusing to wear tight clothes or use makeup, you can't really say it's "to make yourself ugly", it's just that you aren't actively trying to use the normal tools that people use to make themselves attractive. No reason a bald woman can't be attractive, she's just a little different. It mostly comes down to your face, if you have a good face, you will look good either way, if you are just average, having good hair will help cover up the lack of facial beauty (or whatever else). If you have neither, you can still be a good person and from what I have seen its never truly hopeless for any woman. I see guys with women all the time when I'm just baffled how he ended up with her, surely that wasn't the best option available to him. But maybe she has a great personality or something, who knows. More likely he met her years ago and she was like a 6 and then once she got him and got a few years older she put on some weight, etc, and he just stays with her because she's where he knows. And that's great, of the are content I am happy for them. I just wonder some times, like "are my standards just too high or something?" Not that I am in the market anyway. I am happily single.

I had a multiple year long infection on my scalp - it hurt every day. It had to shave my hair because it was so patchy I couldn't hide it. My scalp bled, had pus, swollen, itchy, and everything else. It was horrible! Without hair I look masculine when I want to look feminine. People assumed I had cancer and would tell me where to buy wigs (I couldn't have had them even if I wanted to because it was an INFECTION that was making me bald) or tie scarves for cancer. It was terrible. Men didn't want to date me because I didn't have hair. The process for growing my hair has been long and excruciating- having to pull the hairs out of my scalp since the skin thickened from scarring and from having no hair for a few years. I'm now growing my hair out long and more specifically *healthy*. These women shaving it off without a thought might truly come to regret that.
By the way, rose water and rosemary oil in it has made a WONDERFUL difference for my scalp/hair. Sounds kooky, but rose water softens the skin and rosemary oil fosters hair growth. ❤

Mine wasn't so bad but it was falling out and just increasing vegetable intake and/or vegetable juices helped within 3-5days. I also used and overnight onion juice mask once a week for a month...for anyone looking to ad to the rosewater etc. 😉
I'm sorry you went through that, it sounds painful :( But people get to chose how they want their hair to look, even if that makes you feel negative feelings. Maybe some therapy to learn how to let others make their own choices, while accepting the cards you've been dealt will be helpful if it's something that really upsets you? I know it can seem really unfair when someone gets to make a choice that you didnt get to make.
I shaved my head last winter, read the bible, and it was awesome. You don't have to shave your head to read the bible, but it coincided for me, and therefore, I associate shaving of my head as an amazing thing. I felt reborn.

She talks a grand game all the time and for a good while the big boss was enamored by her, but we knew she had been stealing company resources, travelling around first class on company money promoting her OWN company, bullying us, and all that jazz. Well the company went from very profitable to red quickly and soon I was the one who was pulling in most business to keep the company afloat. Of course, she kept wanting to squeeze more and more and finally even the boss said no to yet another demand. She threatened to QUIT. Yes she did. I calmly looked at her and asked, "When?" She was so shocked she stared at me like a bloated frog. She was finally let go and the company prospered like crazy since then. Whatever the latest pronoun or label, all narcissists are the same.

Thank you for this video, Bret. Due to complications from pregnancy and the covid vaccines mandated by my work, I lost 90% of my hair. Hair that cascaded down to the middle of my back. A physical feature that I had always felt was my best. Losing that felt like losing a piece of my identity. Walking through postpartum, autoimmunity, two sick parents, and two beautiful children under two, I felt truly stressed and hideous. I was blessed to have a husband and family who never made me feel anything other than beautiful. I'm glad this wasn't happening during that journey of mine. It would have broken my fragile soul. I pray for women who have suffered with alopecia, cancer hair loss, and all other forms of hair loss. It's devastating, but know that empowerment can be found. I am beautiful for much more than my hair, as are you all. ❤

12:53 My mum was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer when I had just turned 12. I was so scared for the future I didn’t know what treatments she needed or if she was going to loose her hair (she needed radiation not chemotherapy so ended up keeping her hair). It was such a hard time. Bless modern medicine because she is so far cancer free. She was diagnosed in November 2020, in August 2019 I chopped over 30cm of hair for a charity to use it to make wigs for children with cancer. My mum was so scared I would regret it, I never did and this year I am proud to say I was able to chop another 30cm off. I will keep doing this for as long as I can, shame to those who take for granted having long pretty healthy hair. I know so many people who had to loose all their hair just to maybe live.

I had a surgical procedure a couple of months ago. Prior to going under the knife, I decided to cut my hair shorter than it had been since childhood. I don't like my short hair, and I can't wait until it grows out!!!
I guarantee you that EVERY SINGLE ONE of these women will REGRET having their heads shaved. This "movement" is going to bring on serious "buyer's remorse" in a very short time.

Shaving your head itches SO BAD and it makes your scalp super sensitive. But once it's off you get used to it (as long as you maintain it)
It also makes you REALLY cold for the first week or so, so I only shave it in the summer.

I am so glad my girlfriend isnt like this, shes a normal sane (but depressed) woman. She stays out of social media completely as well, when I told her that women are shaving their heads and not having any sex, she just laughed and said they were ridiculous. Also that whole head shaving urks me as well. When my mom was doing chemotherapy she lost her hair and she would always cry to me saying how ugly she felt and how she hated needing to wear a wig, it always itched and she said it would never fit right cause we couldnt afford a decent one. When I had a band concert my senior year she grabbed the wig and asked if i wanted her to wear it or if it would embarrass me, I of course told her she could never embarrass me like that. I miss her every day but I'm glad she isnt around to be hurt by these women like this.

Depression could be fixed with proper nutrition (low carb or ketogenic diet) and good sleep. Look it up.

I ate wheat the other day just to see how it felt and my whole body became inflamed and I felt like hell the rest of the day. 5-HTP is another good supplement for depression, it increases Serotonin naturally.

The practice of casual sex is literally a destructive coping mechansim most likely caused by family troubles like abuse and parents fighting and separating, other childhood trauma, mental illness and an unstable lifestyle. which eventually leads to nowhere but more despair and loneliness. Only abstinence and social activities without the premise of looking for a casual sex is healthy.
I haven't been laid in at least ten years, I am not at all upset about it. Not yet I couldn't, I am not a bad looking guy. I ain't broke. One of the BEST things about this election is it reminded men HOW MUCH WE NEED THEM. 👏🏼 As a mom of 2 boys (and two girls!), and married to an amazing husband. I want to just scream THANK YOU MEN FOR SHOWING UP AND VOTING TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM THE LEDGE OF INSANITY!! It was a group effort of people with some common sense but we literally could not have done it without the amazing men in this country. I can’t wipe the smile off my face. Used to be, when I saw a woman who had lost her hair, I thought "that poor woman, she must have it rough. Maye cancer or a medical condition.". I would go out of my way to be kind, make her feel good about herself and beautiful anyway. Now?
