For outdoor use would the laser line be more visible by holding up a white or a colored strip of paper against the object it is aimed at? Maybe a white piece of paper, maybe a light red piece of paper.... Something that would be a more contrast than the object you intend to mark. I'm seriously considering this laser above the Bosch green laser of the same basic type you've shown in this video. Thanks for the video this particular model is not easy to find reviews of.
