Hey Everyone! Thanks for taking the time to learn more about the G100 Fiber laser.. I wanted to quickly pop in and make a few corrections to the specs of the machine. So I learned by way of Epilog that the G100 actual comes standard with both the 254 lens and the 163 lens, so you get both! which is great!😁 The other thing is that they actual dont offer a 60watt pulsed at this time, but they DO offer the 60watt "MOPA" laser source as an option! ..I have spoken :)

Thanks for taking some time to get to know the G100! Great overview of the features and applications - plus that automatic door IS super slick. 😉

Are the fixture bars used in the video a bought accessory or is it custom? We could really use some for our brand new G100! The standard pins provided with the table don't cut it for small nameplates and such (under .5" x .5").

For photo engraving on granite, does the fiber work? I do have an Epilog Fusion Edge, great machine, but would consider a fiber. Thanks.

Yes it does, you will have the best luck using dark to black granite, and also black polished granite does well too! Light colored stone may not be suitable for for fiber, and dark colored will work, and try and pick a stone that has less variation in color as well, and no shiny flakes. Hope that helps!

I wanted to go check them out, but I absolutely refuse to do business with anyone that insist on you giving them your name, email, phone, and lots of other personal information before they'll give you any real info about the product.

Find out who your local distributor is, and call them and ask questions, they will answer all your questions. They have a distributor finder at the main site. No need to give email and phone to call.

@@LaserEngraving911 Yeah, no. They know their machine's specs, they can just put the info on the website. They know how much money they want for one. They can put that on the website, too.
The idea that I, as a consumer, should have to jump through hoops to get information or even give someone my money, is completely ridiculous and I refuse to participate.

No costs info in this video, or on the Ep site...is it free? Or...is it a "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" situation?

Epilog can get you quote on the machine for sure, or your local Epilog distributor. I know they have a promotion on the machine right now, so there is that

@@LaserEngraving911 The reason I brought the issue of secret pricing up is that I've lusted after Epilog lasers for over 20 years, and love the idea of Buy American, but was always turned off by their policy failure to disclose pricing up-front. And today, with all the competition in the laser market from off-shore (cheaper) sources, Epi really needs to re-evaluate their way of doing business. A wise man once told me..."if you want to survive in the retail sales world, you MUST make it easy for the customer to buy your product". Epi still hasn't learned that lesson, IMHO.

Do you have a link for the fixtureing bars you have bolted down to the table? Or are the custom? We just got a G100 and could use exactly those to improve our indexing of small engraving parts vs. the standard threaded pins that come with the machine.

Those are super standard for most fiber laser beds, Ill see if I can dig up a link!!
