I have one also. The MetroPlex II is incredible. Best amp that I have owned. Has that 70s thing that you can't get from anything other then a real Plexi. No other clone I have owned does what this does. I have compared my 50watt Plexi build to it. I prefer the MetroPlex in spades!

Yeah you can. BRBS from Italy, for instance. Doug did a demo of 2 of their amps a while back. Highly recommended! I own the vintage class 3+ , extremely versatile beast of an amp.

I’ve tried so many plexi amps: bogner, Friedman, voodoo, granger, Marshall reissues, ceriatone etc… IMO nothing has the raw snarl that my 1975 super lead has (all stock except for .68 v2 bypass cap). Headfirst Alta 100 comes the closest. Metro and germino amps are on my short list to try though
