Everyone knew about the father and daughter except the xu family. What a joke!
This dramatic turn of events shocked the old lady and god took her away ... she was part of the reason guangming lost his family and career allowing li mengzhu to keep on doing all the devious deeds bringing down guangming's career and breaking up the family. The mistress set him up, she was obsessed with him and she and her father schemed to get him for their own reasons. The ex-wife did get to understand everything in the end and she and her ex-husband did get together in the end. Don't worry it's a good ending but they are going to go through so much heartache before they get back together. I can't remember all the details of it but what I "think" I remember is that the ML, in the beginning was set up by the "want-to-be mistress." There was so many misunderstandings between the ML and his Ex-wife, that is what led to their breakup but they never stopped loving each other. It is here on RUclips but it is not in English subs. Just look for "For My Love," it's a Chinese Drama from 2017 I hope this explanation is better for you.😀

I don't know if you know this or not, but the sad part about it was he never told his wife the truth of why he went to jail. She knew he was a good man and she and her mom tried their best to get him out of jail but he would never tell her the truth because he knew she would never let him go to jail for her. Just like him she would have sacrificed herself for him too. He wanted her to have a good life so he gave her all the worldly possessions he had and he wanted her to forget about him and marry that other guy who was in love with her but she refused and waited on him to get out of jail.
