Just saw CULTURE CLUB at te Beacon Theater in NYC...terrific show...and, of course, included DO YOU REALLY..?, including an audience sing-al-long. The did just about all of their US top 40 hits...a coupla' covers, and @5 new songs from their upcoming 2016 album, which sounded , on balance, terirific--i.m.o.
Just saw CULTURE CLUB at Casino Rama theatre. 2 hour drive north of TORONTO, what an amazing show, course Jon was there, the back up singers are different and better more soulful than the ones featured on Today Show, they performed all their hits and some new songs from their upcoming album. Boy George. Commented, Thank You Canada for Joni Mitchell. You have been a very polite audience. ...He said he adores Joni Mitchell. He also sang a Johnny Cash inspired song..
Seeing this show was my first indication BG was alive and well, clean and singing again. I was surprised by how his voice had developed, but quite happy how he's using it. BG comes across as much more genuine, and I actually like his current performances more. :)
George's voice has changed the most of any pop star on the scene. He has changed even more then Stevie Nicks and she put herself through what I would say is far more physically with her drug abuse "allegedly" then George has......so not sure what to think about it actually. Its the same ole George but then you listen to him and its like a stranger is impersonating him when he performs.

He had surgery on his throat. I think that changed his voice. I know it did mines.
