Evan and the other kings swearing peace and unity was the perfect ending for his story.
Ferdinand pretty much crowning himself as the King of the Whole World, completely alone in the balcony was godawful and completely out of touch with the theme of union and forgiveness the rest of the game had.
wow that part of the ending was next level bad.
Maybe it sets up Ferdinand as the next baddie? Would be awful though if that were to happen

The gods were against the idea of a king marrying his king maker? Even if such a union serves to strengthen the bond between them ever further? These gods need to sort out their priorities.
at least the last boss is not the Religion group or church thing like those Final Fantasy games

Both Alisandra and Doloran are actually wrong about this. Both of them rationalized their predicament as a punishment, but neither one of them were truly punished by anyone for anything. Zayin was totally down with a king and kingmaker being together. Alisandra simply failed to understand herself completely, and made a cataclysmic mistake as a result. The only fundamental sin was committed by her, and while it isn't a religious one, it is a meaningful one. She was so dedicated to her job, and so convinced that she was going to suffer in the end because of her love for Doloran, that she forgot to love herself. She forgot one of the most important things in a loving relationship. That was the true crime, and, I think, the moral of their story.

Can someone tell me how you continue playing after the end of the game? Do I not save at the end?
LouLikestowatch you save, and it'll count as being completed but it'll put you right before the final fight so Roland is still in the game.
okay Thankyou! yer when I loaded that save I thought I would have to do the end fight all over again. So glad it's not like that. relieved I can keep playing the game further
this game only saves until the very last battle. it's kind of disappointing i know but maybe the next DLCs will hopefully make it truly playable even after beating the story. I don't like the fact that you can't do endgame save. I mean, no more final boss fight and full free roaming access. I just skipped way too many sidequests and kingdom building so i guess i'll just be waiting for the next story DLC assuming it'll be a continue of Evan's story where Roland returns to Evan's world. Oh well..

40 hours if you don't do alot of kingdombuilding yeah, if you do the sidecontent it's about 70 hours
im on a 58 hours and still no ending....my friend tells me it`s about 120 hours for completion.

If I was King Evan, I would have slained King Mauser for poisoning my dad, and responsible for Nella's death...forgive that!! HA!! Its just a game. 😂

I just finished this game, and I'm beyond confused by the ending. It kinda seemed odd that this little kid was always sitting with Evan having tea after each chapter, and then it was his son? So how is he seeing him? Is Evan dead now? I loved and hated this game by how many tedious little tasks you had to do to just get to the next stage of the next stage to just get access to one thing.
Ferdinand has the ability to speak with the past. He was speaking with Evan to know what happened in his adventures so he know how he can be a great leader.
Bodly the librarian was a seer. She told Evan about a great king that united all nations under him. What she saw was not the past but the future.
Who was the mother?
If we consider ferdinand's appearance what girl do we know has blue hair? or a hair color that mixed with yellow (Evan's hair) creates blue(If thats even possible)...

I just finished the game, it was really fun, I liked it, but the story is just okay, it gets weak at some parts.

As for me this game left me weird just weird...I don't know what to even think of it...According to what i heard this is supposed to be a prequel to the first one BUT how can that be? When the story of the first one is told here as if it happened in the past which COMPLETELY invalidates this game as a prequel and makes it more of a sequel! Which still does not make sense...
