which is better, Grindelwald Glacier Canyon or aareschlucht gorge? I am going to switzerland in 10 days and I have to choose one of them. Thank you in advance ❤
Visited in 2014 and working on getting back. The Glacier Canyon was one of my favourite places in Grindelwald - especially on a warm day because the glacier gorge was far cooler.
@ThePlanetD thank you. We only have two full days in Grindelwald and I'm currently planing our itinerary, but this we will definitely do on day one after our trip up jungfraujoch!! We are in a very good location to access all the attractions with little effort. Thanks again
The Gletscherschlucht Grindelwald is absolutely beautifull! Glad you visited it! In Case your'e on the lookout for similar Things, here are two quick Tips: - The Aareschlucht between Meiringen and Innertkirchen, which you can walk in one End and walk out the other and take a little Train back to your Car if you don't want to walk back. It's only partially Wheelchair/Pushchair suitable from the western Entrance up to the main Attractions and back. Same as the Grindelwald one, bring a outer Layer with you, Entrance fee 10.-CHF (plus Parking and Train if you need it), open: April-October western Entrance June-October eastern Entrance - The Trümmelbachfälle in Lauterbrunnen, just the Valley next to Grindelwald, are definately worth a Visit. There are 10 Waterfalls inside the Mountain, which drain the Water from the Jungfraumassiv. No Wheelchair/Pushchair access possible. Outer Layer/light Raincoat recommended, Entrance fee 14.-CHF, open: April-October.
