Caesar that was a really good step by step especially keep rotating the motor there's something you hear all the time no one does and then they come up with problems and issues very informative👍👍
Take your time, measure several times and you will see improvement. You will after a while start to FEEL when your bike loses power because the values are getting out of spec.
Good video. However you skipped a very crucial step to show how to get to tdc on the compression stroke. You can very easily be 180° off and the lines will still line up.
I have the cold start issue. Inhave to hold the throttle so it stays on. Would you recommend to change the whole motor and rebuild the old one latwr down the road?
those shim kits dont go any smaller than 1.20, even the more expensive hot cams kit doesnt have smaller than that..from my understanding if youre already at 1.20 shim its time for new valves
Yea I realized that was why I swapped the motor … I had actually forgot that. Still my example I made , I hope the point was understood. Sharp observation BTW
@@jasminerogers9971 anytime you are adjusting valves there is a method to finding true TDC, the OP did not clearly explain how to actually find it by observing the position of the cam lobes.
The OP did not necessarily find TDC on the compression stroke. He should have because 50% of the folks will get this wrong and will have a mess on their hands. The OP needs to correct this.
So I've seen this question before but anyone know how to fix if the rocker arm sticks open. Like stuck as a duck, and I've tried fennageling it but no dice. Could take it apart but I figure it'll explode like a Swiss watch or something
Great job on this video, I just finished mine and it runs so much better! Thank you!
This is the first post where someone has used what I made for this video. If it helped one person I have accomplished my task :)

I'm glad you did this going to try to resurrect my ruckus
Well im hoping adjusting the valves will get me running again waiting for parts and tool to arrive. Thanks for you videos

Love the synchronizing clip 😁
LOL!
Hi Ceasar you are doing great job keep it up!
You did a great job explaining
Thank you , I waited until I had a good macro lens so I can show up close
Enjoyed seeing the "how to" style video. Great job!
Thank you sir

Great video! I really liked the multiple angles too!
This is a GREAT video!!!! I'm sure it's a little different when the motor is still on the bike.
Not too much different. Especially if you don't have the plastics in the way like on mine 👍
Thank you for more content 🙏
Great lesson

Thanks for the video! Ceasar
Thanks Roy I Worked hard on this one
So do you rotate the engine 360 degrees to adjust the exhaust?
Go No go the best takes the guessing out
Thank you sharing this video! Ceasar

Glad I looked at comments coz that’s the issue I have I’m at 1.20 and it’s too tight
@@SmallEngineVelocity so if this shim kit isn't good then...what shim kit should we buy if have a stock 49cc?
I'm getting shocked well riding my Honda ruckus.. help me fix
You didn’t mention how to find the correct TDC, your explanation could send many people 180 degrees off.
What do you mean?

Noboddddyyyyyyyy explains how to make sure you're on the compression stroke lol

So why don’t you explain ?
