Plus, Bob himself spent quite a few years at the height of his career in London, leaving his mark on UK music. And yeah, Ren... Can do anything pretty much.
Right there's a massive population of people of Jamaican and Caribbean descent in the UK so if it's something you're around all the time I feel like you could pick it up pretty easily like someone from London moving to New York within a few months they could probably disguise their voice as American pretty well

It's insane how good he is just busking. This wouldn't be out of place on a big stage at a festival, and all those people are just getting a full concert for free in the street while they do their shopping!
I can’t speak for Ren but in Britain we weee raised on reggae music as much as any other . You can hear it in Hi Ren when he really sings at the end ✌️
Since the 50’s the UK had an influx of Jamaican immigrants and in the 70’s a huge reggae movement started which greatly influenced British culture in general and also the music culture. A Jamaican patois was adopted by white British youths throughout the 70’s and 80’s which is along with other aspects of Jamaican identity it’s now fabric of UK culture as a whole. REN’s speaking voice has elements of that patois which makes it easier for him to sing with certain inflections - it also helps that he feels the music in his soul, as you can tell. He’s saying “with a little bit of luck we can make it through the night” - it’s a UK garage dub from the 90’s.

Although a better Nightwish song for anyone to start with might be the Wacken 2013 version of 'Ghost Love Score'. I am curious about what you guys think of that song!

I'm from Louisiana and people down here dwell on vowels (Southern drawl), sometimes to the point that its unintelligible.
