+PixlPlayer Yea, except that once one person solves it everyone else gets it for "free" once the guide is online. You don't want everyone running around with some super powerful reward, that's just power inflation.
I've seen several videos about this quest, and there's one thing that no one seems to get; the first two objectives after activating the console with the Deployment Codes are RANDOM. The first one will give you a random Patrol mission that will either involve killing enemies, or recovering items from specific enemies. The second objective, though it is always timed, is also a random patrol mission that will involve either scouting a location or scanning an objective. The third objective is always the same in that in requires to eliminate a Cabal Centurion, however the targets location is once again random; he may be inside the Cabal ship (like in this video), or he may be in The Founts area of the Dreadnaught. Keep that in mind and follow they arrow on your radar rather than the specific instructions in any of these videos for this quest.
Fun fact: it changes objectives! It still follows the basic template of "kill some guys, find some place quickly, go to a fight quickly, kill a dude. Just follow your objective on the radar and you'll be fine
Just thought you might want to know, after you kill the Cabal champion those steps can change as my 1st and 3rd were completely different. Great vid as always!
Just FYI. There are different bosses, and requirements to get this chest. In my experience, the cabal leader was in the mausoleum. Also, Calcified Fragments don't always come from the chest. I got mine from the second run through out of four.
After fighting the big guy, the next step isn't necessarily collecting Grafted Bones. Cayde gave me a simple Kill mission, then the Scan, and finally a VIP.
Seems like a ton of work for a very small reward, should have at least had an emblem... Either way, thanx for the guide Martin, will be helpful in the near future :D

There is one right outside the door before you go into fight Oryx in the last story mission. When you cross the chasm, your ghost will beep that there is something to scan... go to the left hand side of the door and look. You'll see something shiny like a ghost.
+ConcordDown Fairly certain they're for the Sleeper Simulant heavy fusion rifle. It was described by Luke Smith as an exotic that would need to be assembled and that there are about 50 pieces of it scattered throughout the Dreadnought... sounds fairly accurate.
mine was different in I had to gather a different items had to scan the engine and the intercept leader was where the warden knights were. Seems the tasks are the same just the locations are different.

+Reckher2 PS3 they basically spawn in every day you have to be on the dreadnaught and its completly random it will take a week just look for a yellow taken Knight Wizzard Ogre etc when the taken spawn in
the part where you have to run to the pinpointed signal changes and isnt always at the front of the ship.followed the video and it made me fail. good effort.

I did everything up to the part of the sky burners deployment codes and I can't do anything
activate the beacon with friends because your friends will get the codes and you can do it three times using your code and then you friends codes

How do you melee when sunbreaker is active? That button shoots hammers for me.
+squalltheonly you just get close to the enemy and it will automatically melee
Its a perk on your subclass that allows you to 'shoulder charge' with your super
