3:53 Pink one should take two from the blue, jumping forward and then back. By not doing it, you should pay with the one you didn't move. Did you know this game was introduced by the Spanish guys when they met the Incas?
thank u for sharing! Can you also take more than one piece of the opponent, like in checkers if they are on the same line with an empty place between them?
In 5:45 Multiple capturing jumps are permitted, and indeed compulsory if possible. Is the rule mentioned in Wikipedia. My doubt was We can move the right most clear to the centre and take blue and we can even capture another blue by moving the clear to the top. Is this what the official rules are? But you did something totally different.
Chinese Checkers is played on a different board than Alquerque. Chinese Checkers can be played with 2, 3, 4, or 6 persons. Alquerque is only a 2 person game.
I have played it this way. As with all games, it is good to review the rules prior to playing, so that all of the players know the rules at the start of the game.

@@tonymaurice4157 I'm curious why you state without the King upgrade that the game will always result in draws? We just watched a game where that wasn't the case. I assume you are coming from a perspective of perfectly optimized gameplay but if a move is compulsory and there are corners to the board one player cannot forever evade the other. A draw condition of a limited number of moves with no capture was not mentioned.

This game always results in draws without a king piece
I'm not aware of a king piece. The pieces are simply gaming pieces, sometimes referred to as pawns.

My favorite old game is Hnefitafl
That is a game that I have not played yet.
Seems like she wanted blue to win
Blue is one of my favorite colors.
This game have to be played more like a checkers with power-ups and multiple hops. Otherwise, it’s getting pretty boring at the end
That could be an interesting addition.
