Reds go from a stone face manager in David Bell to an eccentric proven manager with 2 WS rings and an electric personality. I’d say the Reds hit the biggest home run in 2024.
When I watched this video, I was looking at the new Reds manager, and I couldn't help but think to the left of Tito on the screen would make a damn good hitting coach for the Reds. Make it happen! I am 36 and a die-hard Reds fan, and to this day, #21 is and always will be my favorite player to ever wear the uniform. His passion for the game and incredible personality are unmatched by anyone. When the Reds lost to the Mets in the wild card playoff game at Riverfront in 1999, I was heartbroken because it was such a magical season with some outstanding players on the team, but when the camera showed Casey sitting in the dugout by himself with the most somber look on his face, I felt so bad for him. It was so obvious how much blood, sweat, and tears he poured into the game and especially that particular 1999 season, for it to end right then, and there was just so sad and unfortunate. Casey played the game the right way while always remaining humble and disciplined, but damn, could he hit the ball. Sean, it would be so great to have you back in the Reds dugout where you belong (if Tito will have you) because I know you would be such an asset to these young players and also to get you a ring in the Queen City! Clearly, you still have the same energy as you did 20-25 years ago, and you would also look great in those black Cincy uniforms! You're the best!!!!
@gcbailey34 me too! I have a feeling the Reds are going to make a splash during the off-season and bring some more established talent to the banks of the Ohio River and the 2025 season is going to be a fun one! Just as long as they're able to stay relatively healthy throughout the season... The Reds had a great 2010 season and then had a setback the following year in 2011, only to follow that up with what I still believe to this day was the best team in the NL in 2012. I am sensing something similar happening this coming season. Just would love to experience a World Series in the beautiful city of Cincinnati! Dedicate the season to the Hit King!!!!
@paulburket I think one of Terry's stipulations to becoming the manager was for the front office and ownership to allow him to be the manager and make his own decisions in the clubhouse and dugout. I believe the front office realizes that winning baseball is long overdue in this city and are also willing to step aside and let Terry's track record speak for itself and allow him the freedom to call the shots. Don't mean to sound too callous, but Bob doesn't have too many more seasons left in him given his age...so I believe Terry probably convinced him to open his wallet and spend some money on some proven talent and then to step aside and let him do his thing...Can't wait for spring 2025 to get here!

Came here to say the same thing, would love to see Casey back in a Reds uniform as the hitting coach!
Yep the. Mayor as patient of a hitter he was and hit from side to side on the field he would be perfect
agreed, however, it depends on what Sean wants to do.
Love the Mayor. One of my favorite Reds players. The 1999 Reds club will always be one of my favorites.
Casey will always be one of my fav Reds. Seems like a real dude. Excited for Terry. Reds country is due!!
Dude.... I'm so excited for next season!

I just discovered your show on here. You were absolutely one of my favorite players of all time. Go Reds!!!!!
Can't wait to see what Tito can do with the Reds!
Great boost for Reds country! (There's so many Ramirez' in baseball - ha 21:00)
Such a great interview. Skip is the best, so many great stories, even the Polio one lol jk.
Probably the only time you'll see Francona's jersey.
Pete gets banned...Reds get a WS sweep in 90. May Petes' spirit guide the Reds to another championship! RIP HIT KING. LETS GO REDS!
Hope he does good for the reds
I could really enjoy this if we got rid of Castellini. Unfortunately, Bob will run it aground or outright scuttle any chance for lasting success.
