    I think the questions about his unborn baby were rude and uncalled for Curt. They were intrusive and without consideration for what is obviously a traumatic event. You didn't even offer your condolences, nor express any empathy for his feelings. I was shocked by your callous approach. Travis was kind enough to try and answer your question, but they became more and more... Intrusive.. really disappointed in you for that, you are normally a decent interviewer

    Few years ago i had an encounter while on a canoe camping trip with my son, it was about 3.30am and ide crawled out the tent to take a leak, there wasn`t a cloud in the sky, it was pitch black but you could see every star in the sky from this field we`d camped in, as i walked towards a few bushes i felt something like a static charge and i looked about and for a split second i saw a bluey green light just above me, reminded me of what a plasma discharge looks like from a tesla coil, i looked straight up above my head and saw a distortion in the sky, i could still see the stars but it was like i was looking at them in the reflection in water, they shimmered, only way i can describe it it was like the predator when he engages his invisibility device, this distortion was moving real slow, eventually it passed over head and as i looked more at it and the further it got away it started to see a solid object, eventually i saw a leading edge to a disk shaped object, it looked like brushed tin or pewter, no sound at all apart from a gentle hum which i could feel in my chest, like you do at a rock concert when the bass kicks in, there was no engine exhaust, no rotors or ailerons or anything you`d identify as an aircraft, it was seamless and looked like it was injection moulded from 1 piece, i guess it travelled about half a mile away from me, over the river we`d canoed down that day and all of a sudden it shot up vertically that fast ide say within 2 seconds it looked like just another star, this was in the UK at a place called Ironbridge near telford, i`ll never forget that as long as i live

      @Mike Remington Agreed. His interview style is anything but empathic and in my opinion shows no ability as an interviewer to connect to the person being interviewed. There was a distinct lack of rapport. That's too bad because when you create a rapport, you help the subject of the interview relax and that elicits more trust and ultimately more information. I feel like anyone could have read the questions he had prepared and produced the same (or better) results.

    I had the pleasure of spending a day at a MUFON conference where Travis Walton was one of the speakers, I have spent over 20 years researching his case. He was one of the most humble nonattention seeking intelligent persons I have ever met and for anyone who actually looks at the real facts of his case there can be no doubt he is telling the truth about his amazing experience! I personally admire him for having the courage to tell the truth despite all the personal abuse he has suffered through the years and from all the debunkers who have made up countless lies and attempts to smear him. Before that I didn't know what I'd been seeing . he is such a strong person, I'd love to know what he means by having personal paranormal experiences and other experiences that he has kept to himself, because he couldn't document them. I've had some weird things happen , so I assume this would b that phenomenon that continues with people, there's a word for it, I can't think of it right now though. Bro he said to his mother before he was abducted “if I get abducted by aliens soon don’t worry I’ll be back”. And his buddy who told the tale with him came forward recently saying he was lying. Walton is making this up. They passed their lie detector test being asked if there was any foul play in Walton’s disappearance. Walton did not pass his lie detector test about the incident and the dude even noted “he was holding his breath trying to cheat”. Let it go

I do feel sorry for Travis, in the sense that he clearly has been accused of falsifying his case so many times that on a few occasions I think he may have confused some of your questions as accusations. Late Summer 1977 ,at night, along the deserted beach in Michigan City, Indiana (Lake Michigan shoreline) which my dog ,Kahlua, alerted me to. Again in a potato field at night a few miles outside LaPorte ,Indiana (my hometown) with my friend ,Ed, while we searched for pot plants during the Winter of 1980-1981.(We were stone sober in the cold early Winter night.) Mufon has my detailed experiences online. Each close encounter was within 150 feet of observation. You are not alone Travis in your beliefs. I /We were not abducted but I am sure we could have easily been. I wish to let people know that I am sure Travis did experience a rare once in a lifetime event after experiencing my sightings close at hand and with my dog and a friend. I have since realized that we as a world are of very little significance in the Universe on the grand scale of things. The governments are hiding factual truths about visitations whether they are us from our own future (time travel), beings from another plane or dimension beside ours, or alien life forms that may have been here for decades since the detonations of our first atomic bombs or earlier. Think outside the box on possibilities of more advanced technologies and civilizations other than ours. Look how far we on earth have advanced in just the last 100 years from the first cars, biplanes, and electric light bulb use. Imagine a civilization that has been around 5000 years without wars and starvation but leap frogged in science and medicines and social ways. We are not alone and if we are, it would be a mistake.

    My theory on the greys size. They come from a super earth, or a planet larger than ours. They are smaller due to the increased gravity, all animals there are smaller. They operate at night, as there star is either more distant or not as bright/energetic (which is good, no coronal mass ejections to wipe them out early). So they prefer to operate in low light, twilight, or night. Also they are not interested in being observed and avoid large pop centers usually, so the cover of night, knowing humans cant see very well at night, is also an opportunity.

    I appreciate your honesty and courage and resilience in surviving this event and speaking publicly about it. My heart hurts for you because I can tell how frustrating and painful it is when people are asking such pointed memory questions and memory is so profoundly affected by trauma and stress (as well as injury). Just because you can’t draw them picture perfect recall doesn’t mean anything… if you put anyone under stress into an unfamiliar setting and later asked them to describe and draw the details, they’d be shocked how much they can’t actually recall. Many people aren’t going to believe no matter what, but for those who have had their own confusing experiences but don’t feel able to speak out you’re a true hero. For those who are exploring this topic with an open mind this interview is another solid piece of evidence that deserves their attention.

    I cant even imagine the paradigm shift and PTSD that he has had to have gone through, because of his experience. Then he has had all of the experiences with skeptics, debunkers and even those that knew he was being truthful, and still chose to deny the truth to the public. The man has been through hell and back, and still maintains the same story, all of these years later. I have so much respect for him speaking his truth. I think if you had taken the time to research Travis’ experience and maybe gotten to know him a bit before this long form interview, it would have been better for Travis.
    I worry that after this he will be less inclined to do interviews with new people. He’s been gawked at for 46 years. Either you believe him or you don’t.
    Maybe having moderators who can flag/send you the best questions from the chat would help. Some of the questions were thoughtless and expecting him to recall specific and mundane details (like wanting to know specific details about the ramp) that have nothing to do with his experience wasted a lot of time.

    Curt’s becoming my fav interviewer for UFO folks. He has this “chutzpah” (in a good way) that enables him to ask uncomfortable questions and persist until the guest answers or at least acknowledges the question. Almost in kind of an “autism-spectrumy” type way lol 😂 (I mean that in a positive way)... blunt and direct. And if there seems to be an inconsistency in something a guest says, he doesn’t just breeze past it like George Noory or any other interviewer does... he doesn’t move on until the guest clarifies. I LOVE it.
    I sent your Luis Elizondo video to several people, and they all agreed it’s by far the best Lue interview they’ve ever heard. It had NEW information. Usually, every Lue interview is the same... same questions... same answers... once you watch a few, you’ve watched them all. But Curt (and the chat) got _new_ info out of Lue.

      I know exactly what you mean about wanting it to be true. I've been there. But in recent years I've converted to Carl Sagan's doctrine: extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
      So I enjoy the tall tales about UFOs - I am intrigued by them, and they fire my imagination. But when it comes to believing the claims, I need evidence - and it has to be evidence at a level that meets the level of the claim. The claims of people like Travis and Bob Lazar are utterly astounding and world-changing. They're wonderful stories - but they need some serious evidence for me to believe them.
      Mind you, even before we can consider any evidence, I find the accounts of both Travis and Bob Lazar to be of poor quality and unconvincing. Neither appears to be relating a genuine, lived experience. Their descriptions are vague where you would expect them to be specific and detailed. Curt, first time seeing your channel. I am very interested in Travis' story because I also have discovered a CE5 or beyond encounter when I was 6 years old with the same beings in my yard and aboard the craft. My Mother was also involved and remembered the same visit. I was in my room in my house when the beings landed in my front yard and called me telepathically to the window and asked me to come outside with them. They were just little men to me and I was not scared. They were wearing an overall type of suit which was dark and appeared black, but could have been silverish in the light. I began to remember this experience, which happened in 1970 or 1971, because I would wake up in the mornings in 2017 and see the faces of aliens outside my bedroom window of the house we lived in at the time, looking at me. This image kept repeating for several weeks. I was taking care of my Mother who was 80 at the time and cooking for her and going to her house. So, one day, I asked her about aliens at that house in the yard. She nodded and said "yes", and began to tell me what she remembered. We both had our memories wiped somehow and never spoke about it since it happened, but the same details come from both of us and we know it happened. She unfortunately passed away this year in May. I interviewed her on my YT channel and have the link here: ruclips.net/video/ke5aJCUmFbk/видео.html "My Alien 5th Kind Encounter. 3 Greys With Mom Aboard In Front Yard 1971 Houston Flew w/Them." I have had since regression therapy with an expert on passed life regression trained by the Edgar Casey group. She actually went to High School with me and we are still friends now. I have remembered more of that experience through her first session, but the event is still not clear as to what they were teaching me, and why I was sitting at the controls flying the craft as they taught me. I will go back to her until i can get all of the information I can. I need to know what places we were visiting and what they were teaching me. As Travis said, there are certain details and things he said, nuances and phrases, where I know he is telling the truth. I believe a lot of people have these experiences and have not spoken out yet. My YT email is alexaquarius9@gmail.com if you would like to talk and compare my story to other experiencers you know about, so that we can both learn more about these beings, where they come from, and why they do this.

      My entire family had terrifying encounters after we moved to Louisiana in 1965. My dad refused to admit it though. By 1988 I could no longer live there even though they gave me to home and farm. And the things followed me after I moved. In 1975 my brother was babysitting me on a Friday night. He went outside at around 11pm to connect our bass boat to the truck for a fishing trip the next morning. He came running back inside in a panic, told me to hide, grabbed a shotgun, and ran back outside.
      After a little while he came back inside and got me. We went outside and about 300 yards away there was a glowing blue metallic ball above some trees. It would zip back and forth then go down and out of sight in a T pattern. It appeared to be about 15 feet in diameter more or less.
      He called a friend of his nearby and told him to get a gun and camera ready and we were coming to get him. As soon as we pulled out on the road this thing instantly zipped over and was right above the truck about 20 feet above us. The engine died so we couldn`t drive away. He shoved me down into the floor of the truck and got out and aimed the gun at it. It instantly zipped straight up into the sky and vanished.
      Nobody answered the door at his friend`s house so we left. We ran into another guy he knew after going down the road closer to where we`d seen it hovering over the trees. The time should have been no later than 15 minutes after midnight but the guy told us it was after 3am.
      In 1999 I was fishing at night around 11pm on the Louisiana side of the Sabine river. I was just checking a catfishing spot in a bay beside the river with rods because the water was rising and the catfish usually start biting in that area when the river rises. I had planned to get back to the boat dock in our yard before midnight because a TV show I planned to watch was coming on. If the catfish were biting I planned to put out trotlines and hoop nets the next day to catch fish to sell.
      Right after I tied the boat up and threw out my rods two huge rectangle shaped things way bigger than mobile homes appeared in a cow pasture down the river. They were flying (more like floating) along some power lines,one on either side, and slowly coming towards me. Each of them had four squares of soft yellowish/white light on the front that covered the entire front except for black borders around them.
      I turned off my light and reeled in my rods, cranked the motor, and started puttering as fast as I could safely go in the dark towards a canal leading back to our boat dock. I had to go towards these things which were slowly coming towards me so I was about to panic. One started going up and the other down as the four square panels of light began to turn into squares inside squares until they became very bright and pretty brilliant sparkling dots of multicolored lights. Then they blinked off and vanished. They never made any sounds. I remember on the way out there while in the canal seeing a very quick flash of colors to my right through the fog in the trees but it was dim and I assumed it came from a spotlight beam on the other side of the island.
      When I reached the boat dock only minutes later my girlfriend was standing there looking very upset. She told me it was after 5am. It should have been just after 11pm. I never went fishing out there again and I normally fished several times a week.

    In every interview the impression I get is this is a man of integrity and always aware of what he feels are fair observations. He never embellishes, deviates or sensationalises his experience and he’s very respectful of the skeptical view. Mainly because I think if he hadn’t had this happen to him he’d be of the same opinion. He’s a very intelligent and credible witness and I’ve always applauded his pragmatic approach. I think he’s a very unique individual and someone from whom we can deepen our understanding of an extraordinary phenomenon.

      @amphibeingmcshpongletron5026 3 года назад +1

      It's always important to clear the air when talking about this kind of stuff and acknowledging the very legitimate concerns and views of skeptics. I've had multiple UFO sightings, and if ever I bring them up or I'm asked to talk about them, I make it clear that I'm not trying to convert anyone and that I'm just sharing what I saw. I talk about my own skepticism of some of the sightings as well as how I would've reacted to hearing this from someone else had it not happened to me. Unfortunately, there will always be some who just refuse to think it's anything but embellishments, mistaken identity, or lies. I try my best to be respectful yet sincere.
      I'd be lying if I didn't hold some hope that people might at least consider that my experience was legitimate, regardless of their views on what it was. I have no idea beyond what I saw in the sky and how it made me feel. You won't change anyone's mind or even make them more curious if you don't respect the skeptical point of view, because it IS a very valid point of view. It's the complete unwillingness to hear it and categorically labeling it false on principle that I have objections with. Everyone should question. I've been through my own periods of doubting what I saw with my own eyes with other witnesses. It's natural when confronted with something so mindbogglingly out of the ordinary. These things are still unknown, after all.

      @ImNotHereEither 3 года назад +1

      @@amphibeingmcshpongletron5026 thanks for your reply. I completely agree. There’s always going to be people who simply won’t listen or have made their mind up. Usually without knowing much about the subject other than what most people see in movies or read in the tabloids. Which is fine. So I think a lot of this is simply down to education and awareness. I’ve had one sighting I can be sure about, although like you, I’m constantly going over it and debating it in my own mind. And I had another experience when I was younger but because of memory and it being so long ago I honestly don’t know what to think about that one. It feels like a dream after all this time and has to be processed through a child’s mind so who knows, but it left a lasting impression on me. As such I’ve been drawn to this topic my whole life. From when I was able to read I was soon getting books from the local library. I don’t tell anyone about it in person. Only four people know, my wife and daughters daughter two close friends. Like many of us who want answers or at least to be able to talk about it without ridicule, I think the most important step we can take is slowly changing the culture and the discourse around UFO’s. Take it out of the hands of paranormal entertainment hacks and into the public domain as a serious subject worthy of our attention.

And this is coming from someone who’s experienced much trauma but I CHOOSE to face it instead of run from it because running from it only intensifies the trauma. I may sound insensitive and I really don’t care but people need to step out of their identities for a minute so they won’t be so blinded inside the bubble of their identity… Now I await the inevitable angry people who don’t understand my point and wanna be super defensive over traumatized people and no fucking wonder the issues continue because traumatized people don’t have the balls to face it.
