    How many layers of stains did you use to get the color in 4:20?

      @@chesterchan2612 thanks for the question. My daughter liked the color of four coats of stain with 2 coats of clear satin urethane, so that's what I did.
      I must say, after some time, the wood did get a bit darker. I would probably just do 2 coats if I desired a lighter color like @ 4:20.

    Does it matter what kind of glass jar you use? Should it be cleaned?

      Well, I've used old "food" jars: mayo, pickle, spaghetti sauce, and jelly/jam jars. I rinsed the jars out with warm water and a drop of soap, and dried. They all still had their "smell" left in it. As long as the jar has no left over food product residue in it, it should be fine. I hope that answers your question =)
