Howzit I want to ask. What is the advantages of getting 100% on metal gear solid ground zeros for the phantom pain. Am I going to get something awesome or what?
recuerda a Drebin de MGS 4 que era un soldado cuando niño. El dijo que son muchos de el y que el era el num# 893. Creo que el puede aparecer en MGS V como un niño soldado de Africa.
I have to be honest. When I first heard Jim turned them down because of a low amount of money I was mad at him and thought he was being pretty selfish. But after this interview I totally agree with him.
***** I wasn't entirely sure at first because I knew it could've gone both ways. One thing I was sure of was that he had standards. Ever more confirmed with this interview.
40:00 "I didn't like the replacement guy" I hope Daley doesn't forget he said that because if you end up interviewing the new Zero voice actor it could be kinda awkward.
Daley! For a fan, you have to work on your MGS chops. MGS1 was released in 1998. MGS2 was released in 2001, MGS3 was 2004, MGS4 was 2008, MGSPW was 2010.
SolidSnake200921 I was thinking that too, at least with the numbered entries. (I didn't play Peace Walker until the HD Collection) In a previous video, he thought MGS2 came out in 2007 or something. Strange.
Jim's was probably my favorite codec intro yet; aside from David Hayter's, of course. Wasn't sure about this interview after he mentioned he hadn't really played or watched any of the MGS series, but glad he's at least willing to remedy that when he finds time. Solid, informative interview & we learned a lot more about him. Definitely more than just a voice in one of my favorite videogames. Big fan now.
Somebody really needs to have a word with Daley. It's appropriate that he has 'control freak' written on his shirt as he tries to hard to control these interviews and establish himself as the main host. He's in danger of ruining these interviews
Meneilly True. He comes across as a kid meeting his idols personally. The other hosts are fanboys but they do not exert themselves on the interview guests
41:37 Jim: "Your character won't be seen an entire amount a lot in the game. You'll be heard but not seen." Korrupt Ronin's mind: (>_> expression at 41:43 ) "You did not just say confidential information."
Chrono Soul Hey, he don't give a fuck, good on him. If I were insulted like that, I'd do the same. It's not like he's affiliated or signed a gag contract about job offers.
I almost lost it. when he is speaking as zero it sounds different than his normal speaking voice. But its not all that different in reality. It is a shame he isn't in tpp. But just hearing zero come back to life was amazing. Thank you guys for doing what you do and getting all of these amazing talents on the codec!
Uche Okonma Ya, that's how I interpreted it. It's a ludicrous argument from Konami though. All voice actors are technically heard, but not seen. Even though we're seeing increasingly more of them in videogames with motion capture & facial recognition, and new characters like Quiet use Stephanie Joosten's very likeness. So there's no reason they couldn't have paid Jim at least on-par with his previous jobs like MGS 3 where we mostly only heard his character. Seems like they're low-balling him because they feel he's expendable. I'm sure the new guy will do fine, but whoever handles Konami's talent relations has handled this whole project poorly & people who've worked for them for up to 30 years like Kojima are looking to abandon ship. It's a shame most businesses at a corporate level seem to be headed in this direction too. They grow too big & lose sight of what/who got them there in the 1st place. We've seen it with Ubisoft as well. AC's original Lead Designer, Patrice Des' got screwed over not once, but twice since their new control-freak CEO took power. And more recently the writer on their new project left or was forced out (however they choose to spin it this time).
Daley really need to talk less, to not interrupt the guest, to be more direct with his question, to learn the release of the games because it discredit his MGS fan reputation and to accept criticism...
Daley is trying way too hard to stick up for Hayter and constantly implying that Kiefer Sutherland is somehow an inferior actor compared to Hayter. Yong is much more reasonable in that regard and I'm glad he was there, otherwise that topic would have turned into a Hayter circle jerk.
Nelson W. Daley is a stupid bind Hayter fan . I can't wait to rub it on his face when Phantom Pain comes out and Kiefer pretty much destroys whatever little "acting" he did for Big Boss .
Nelson W. In terms of a more believable humanized Snake. Keifer fits the bill. Recommend anyone re watching the GDC gameplay when Snake awakes from his coma. Keifer really sells being confused and like Snake is really struggling to come to grips with the situation.
^Exactly !!! Imagine David in that scene with his cheezy lines and amateurish voice acting ........ Grrr that scene would have been impossible for me to even take seriously . Kiefer is portraying Big Boss as complexly and humanly as Big Boss should be portrayed . Konami / Kojima replacing David is easily one of the best decisions they ever made .
Tom Karver I'm watching the interview on the computer while playing ground zeroes on ps3 and listing to cassete tapes from Peacewalker on my vita...................multi tasking for the win
1:29:40, if you're wondering who Daley was talking about, it was me. (Admin:@jonathan_venom_snake) I need to apologize for a very immature comment I had posted on this video: I interviewed Jim for this page a few weeks ago, and I basically called out you guys for "stealing our video." What I said was so stupidly jealous and childish and I can't believe I allowed myself to talk that way. Yong, I've been supporting you from the start. I love your channel and you're just the best thing to ever happen to the Metal Gear community. I can't believe I stooped as low as saying YOU stole MY idea. Ronin and Daley, you guys showed me that it was possible to even obtain interviews with these people. You guys are such big inspirations to me and I'm ashamed for trying to make you out like a bunch of unoriginal jerks. I love your show and my page METAL GEAR CENTRAL will continue to support it. You guys are the rock stars of the MGS community. I have so much respect for each of you and I hope you'll forgive me for being, y'know, THAT guy on the internet. I will support this Jim Piddock interview and every interview that follows it. It would still be a dream come true to collaborate with you guys some day. I know I don't deserve it at this point but I hope you can all find it in you to put this behind you. Thanks guys, I love your work. Keep being great. For the time being, I have removed my personal Jim Piddock interview. - Jonathan
I like how you put the Time Codes in the description Yong, you should keep doing that with all of your Very Long videos, or at least just the Interviews. It makes it much easier to watch want you want if your really busy and only have a few minutes.
I just realized he was in the Christopher Guest movie (which are some of my favorite movies), wrote Family Tree, and was in my favorite video game of all time. I am nerding out right now (And imagining Mr. Guest play Ocelot with his "A Mighty Wind" mustache).
Best interview so far. Jim is very interesting. Too bad that Konami were assholes about hiring him, I would have LOVED to see him return in MGSV. Like Yong said, it's a digital game, and it's ridiculous they would pay him less because the character is not on-screen as much.
Wow his version of older Zero sounded great! damn it... P.S. Snake dumped Meryl before and look how he reacts when she`s trying to reach out to him in MGS4. She cant wait for him forever. Thats why its Johnny i believe.
***** well.. " Maybe it's because someone taught me well. A certain legendary hero who suddenly disappeared? You quit the unit. Me... I never gave up on you". I got the impression that he dumped her bassicaly, no?
ItsThatGuy13 I'm pretty sure that's one of the main reasons why Jim Piddock did not reprise his role. Quite frankly, I'm concerned as well. If there won't be any scissors, than I can't do a raw blink on hara-kiri rock
So is this the guy who didn't reprise his "role" because of the "under pay"? I would do that just for my love for the series if ever I was Major Zero. But like what this interview showed us, he doesn't give a damn about the character, he's all in it for the money. Heck, he just even knew now that his character was one of the Major (see what I did there) villains in the MGS series, when Yong asked him about it.
tonertonki in the end, it's a job dude. Would you work at a super market because you loved the job but the pay was low as heck? Probably not. A role such as this and at the time, I doubt, as he says, that he'd any idea of how big a hit the game would become today. He was working like any other actor would.
Well… bad news here. Akio (snake's Japanese voice actor) just confirmed on Twitter that Kojima production is disbanded. Nothing from Konami or Kojima himself yet, but Akio is a close friend to Kojima and has been on this series since MGS1, and he just did the commentary of the alternative route of E3 2015 mission, so it's most likely real. Too bad…
baicaibangx It was real since their corporate report documents and logo removals. Seriously, what "reality" do you guys live in where official reports are falsified "just to fuck with YOU" without Konami facing any kind of corporate lawsuits from shareholders? Kids these days are so ignorant and can't tell reality from fantasy.
In the first few interviews I found Daley a bit irritating. But I've become a fan of how he conducts them. Sure, he does interrupt at times when he shouldn't but generally he does a good job. I watched another MGS-themed interview and the main host really couldn't give the show direction and he didn't make the best use of the time he had whereas Daley is much better at this. I think Daley does a better job than he's given credit for.
Thats why I like and respect David Hayter, I think even if they would have offered David a very low sum of money to voice Snake/Big Boss again, he would have still done it. I really think he would have done it for the Fans, and because that is his passion and also because he has such a strong connection to the series.
Seriously, Daley has to stop interrupting people. Also, he should try to use less words to make a point. Sure , he is the main host, but he is not the star of the show! I like him, but this has to change, he does it in every single interview!
I'm surprised that Major Zero will not be as seen in the game, I hope when Yong finishes his trailer analysts he should include Zero's new voice and that he won't be making an appearance that much. Also damn cassette tapes
cookieface80 They're friends or if not they have some respect with each other, Zero would have left BigBoss to die, but injected him nano machines and made him a symbol when Solid Snake burned him.
I'm honestly more upset about losing Piddock as Zero than Hayter as Big Boss. Like, I wasn't huge on Hayter as BB anyway (the whole idea of him having the same voice as Solid but not Solidus who's a perfect clone is just dumb to me), but Piddock nailed Zero. I do understand completely why he doesn't want to reprise his role though
*Rant incoming* Ok i have seriously lost my interest in these interviews now for one reason... Daley... he is just ruining the potential these interviews have, he tries to hard to establish himself as the front host, his questions run on far too long, one sentence is enough to explain the question, not a fucking paragraph! Even though interviews are scripted question wise, Daley's reactions in terms of laughter and how he pays attention feel so forced and it brings on an immense sense of cringe for the viewer and clearly the interviewee. You could tell jim was about to answer 3/4 times during a quesiton that took a lot longer than it should have to ask and this has happened in like VERY interview so far. I'm going to assume he spearheads this because he has all the connections or something? Your interviews would benefit 100% better if yourself or Ronin took charge. I just cant deal with listening to Daley anymore *Rant over* Reply with any feedback or whatever I'm interested in what people think, at the end of the day this is just my opinion :D
4/6StringsJoe Covers I think he does a little too much interrupting and doesn't let the person being interviewed actually talk. Just ask the question, let'em go with the answer 'cause that's the point of the interview, we're hear to listen to what *the guest* has to say. I don't demand Daley to "leave" or anything, just tone it down.
4/6StringsJoe Covers I think if he's not going to pay better attention, have people walking in and out of the room like every video then I think he should blackout his screen.. it's way too distracting. Also the fake laugh is irritating. sorry Daley I don't want to be a dick BUT... get it together. I still do love the codec though and all the hosts.. especially yongyea
I like David's voice in the old games but in a game looking as realistic as MGSV does I just don't think his Snake voice would match with the visuals. David Haders snake voice doesn't sound like a real person I just don't think it would work to have something looking so real with the main character having such an odd voice.
I definitely agree that Keifer Sutherland is the right choice. Don't get me wrong. David Hayter IS the voice we grew up with but this is Kojima's last game. Hideo Kojima will do what he can to make TPP the game he envisioned to make ever since Metal Gear. With a movie like game what better than to cast a AAA Hollywood star to voice Big Boss.
That's what I was saying, I'm glad you guys didn't tear me up too bad, ground zeroes was actually the first metal gear game I played then I went back to the old ones. After hearing Kiefer Snake then David Snake it took me a little while to get into it but after I did I can't picture the old games without David and the new one without Kiefer.
i actually enjoyed the new voices on the silent hill 2 remaster. i did also play the original on ps2. i didnt see any problem with it and i don't understand why people were mad.
Emin Yavuz That's what I was thinking too. From my memory, it was Snake, the CIA guy, Gene and I think Ocelot at the end. It's bee a while though, but I don't ever recall Zero ever being in Portable Ops.
So he is like undermining the video game industry as "low" when compared to movies.. He said, "if it were a movie, I would have owned an island by now".... He doesn't realize how the video game industry is a HUGE thing nowadays, even surpasses the movies. Clearly this guy is just in it for the money. Last time I checked, David Hayter was willing to do the whole thing for free in the "Twin Snakes" game, or even tried to help out the other original voice actors for the game. I think Jim really doesn't know SHIT about the Metal Gear Series, heck he didn't even know until now that Major Zero is the main villain of the MGS series. Yong Yea
Haha yeah it was pretty bad... Apparently they insulted him when the interview began by calling him a small actor or something. It seemed like on guy was just asking him questions with no common sense of courtesy, one was kissing his ass, and one was silent wearing a suit. It was their first though so yeah i understand but they got some learning to do.
RELAX onTHC Not sure whats the difference between that interview and this interview since each of them had someone being an extreme ass-kisser though Daley is easily the most annoying one .
Lol Daley is against Konami for the replacement of Hayter, but Konami never did anything for that, it's Kojima that did the cast, he NEVER did the cast of the English VA's before until this game and i believe he never really liked Hayter. Thought i think MGS low sales in Japan put the pressure on Kojima to choose a 'famous' English figure as the main role.
As someone who has never played any of MG, my hunch is that the English dub for MGS1 was completely outsourced, & while KZS is fantastic, there was no reference to the Japanese audio involved. People act as if voice isn't part of character - but if Homer Simpson magically spoke with an ultra-light voice in the next episode..shit would be odd. Snake (&Liquid, & Raiden) were cast with much lighter voices in the English dub, & I don't think Kojima was ever a fan of that. & with all due respect to Hayter, he simply never *really* took off as an actor, whereas Akio Otsuka's resume is an embarrassment of riches.
He's doing what he loves and that's obvious, but when you work in arts and start to think like "well, the pay is really unfair but I love what I do, so I'm taking what I get", companies are going to fuck them and other actors over like there's no tomorrow. Actors have agents just so this doesn't happen to them. I can't say anything for certain without knowing actual numbers, but if Konami isn't respecting voice actors for the work they do, they are the last people who should be receiving any "freebies" from artists.
Yong. Que nos daran por haber jugado graund zeros en TPP con el savedata y sigues pensando que venom es bigboos? Para mi es solidus o gray Fox.saludos desde México. You can answer in english.
Daley's a good guy and all with good intentions on trying to make sure Yong & Ronin use their time efficiently, but he seems to be lacking on being able to use his own time efficiently. I can forgive you for messing up your release dates and such, but I know when you learn how to not ramble like a fanboy as much, these interviews will have a lot more substance out of thee actual intterviewee. Constructive critcism and such. Positives- You are being charismatic & engaging, & we all really do appreciate how instrumental you are in making these interviews happen. PS, Piddock obviously just cares about the money. Yes, Konami is stupid for not giving him a better offer for TPP, because he DID do a fantastic job, but he didnt seem to really embrace his character like Hayter & Randolph. Maybe it comes from being in films and movies for so long first & seeing video games as kind of kiddish & beneath him as an adult professional. At least he's more entertaining & engaging in his interview than James Horan
Wait for 1080p, video is still processing!
-Yong
YongYea the video is fine to me,great work by the way, plus i think the codec needs to interview Jennifer Hale (Naomi Hunter)
ronins thoughts: i wonder if he's racist... mmmhh... dawg...
Any plans on interviewing Patric Zimmerman?
Howzit I want to ask. What is the advantages of getting 100% on metal gear solid ground zeros for the phantom pain. Am I going to get something awesome or what?

I have to be honest. When I first heard Jim turned them down because of a low amount of money I was mad at him and thought he was being pretty selfish.
But after this interview I totally agree with him.
Same here. I'm not sure if it should give me more reason to hate Konami
***** he's not a gamer so he wouldn't do it for the love of the series, like hayter did
TheRabbitFear Hayter gave up half his paycheck to bring back the cast for the Twin Snakes remake. That's love right their!
***** I wasn't entirely sure at first because I knew it could've gone both ways. One thing I was sure of was that he had standards. Ever more confirmed with this interview.
solidfrenzy93 *there
Here is the full interview with the brilliant Jim Piddock, MGS3's Major Zero himself! ruclips.net/video/0MsEYrSTMpw/видео.html
YongYea Metal gear Major or Metal Gear Zero where its set during the time of The Boss in world war II that would be fucking amazing.
YongYea Yong ... PLEASE Tell Daley to clean his room and make it look more presentable to conduct interviews.... It's so embarrassing.
Brayden Aitkenhead you killed it pal
YongYea I love your longer videos!!!!! it gives me lots to watch and enjoy thanks Yong!! ROCKETO PUNCH!
Reece Coles noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.... what did I kill I didn't read the comments
I honestly can no longer imagine hearing hater as punished snake... I completely fell in love with Sutherland's work...
tony2000and10 Yeah, there's no going back now for Big Boss.
u know what? screw it!! we want david and sutherland back for MG1 reboot! and bring back the long ass cutscenes!!
tony2000and10
I was hoping that was going to happen, but that was before Kojima was fired :/
40:00 "I didn't like the replacement guy" I hope Daley doesn't forget he said that because if you end up interviewing the new Zero voice actor it could be kinda awkward.
Take a shot every time Daley says insight or insightful.
A good way to kill your liver.
Take a check on that ego Daley.. "I'm the one here that tells it like it is". Guy spoils the whole conversation.
Strange.
Brian Durkee I'm a PROUD superfan. It's my reaction to try to correct inconsistencies. I find it absolutely jarring.
This is probably the best interview you guys have done. I loved how honest Jim was towards how he felt towards the subjects.
Jim's was probably my favorite codec intro yet; aside from David Hayter's, of course. Wasn't sure about this interview after he mentioned he hadn't really played or watched any of the MGS series, but glad he's at least willing to remedy that when he finds time. Wow, it was really cool to hear more about Konami's shitty practices

Denji2006 Hey. I don't care either. I was just capturing the funny expression of that moment.
Chrono Soul Piddock isn't under any contract I don't think.
cookieface80 He isn't under any contract. Like I said twice already. Just commented on capturing the moment.
you should interview richard doyle
damien barker He had like a 15 minute scene.
Nelson W. He was Big Boss, and that sure as shit was not a 15 minute scene.
Daniel Cossey How long then? 15 and a half minutes?
Nelson W. I think the Big Boss scene is around 45 minutes.
wait, wasn't he Solidus Snake?

@Saladin OHHH yeah man with that stupid sore thoat voice ahaha David is way better
Eli Manning Hayter sucked in PW and his voice is way too cartoony for TPP.
I'm playing Ground Zero's and watching the interview, at the same time! I love the PC.
That's good.
Wow. I love this. Two people with totally different ways of playing a game and no "PC master race" or console wars bullshit. Made my night.
Tom Karver I'm watching the interview on the computer while playing ground zeroes on ps3 and listing to cassete tapes from Peacewalker on my vita...................multi tasking for the win

Jim is so intense holy shit

Just stunning. its to bad he couldn't come back. He is very good at what he does. I got chills during the voice acting part. Thanks jim!
19:47 … which was written by David Hayter.
Thanks for mentioning The Prestige in the interview Yong. Love that film. Keep up the good work.
I know is gonna be extrem hard but can we dream to intervew Mr,Kojima
The new Zero voice in Phantom pain sound great !
that codec intro gave me goosebumps
I like how you put the Time Codes in the description Yong, you should keep doing that with all of your Very Long videos, or at least just the Interviews. It makes it much easier to watch want you want if your really busy and only have a few minutes.

Jim gives me this "chill/nice vibe". What a nice guy he was

Did I just see Fragged Nation pull out a velcro wallet at 1:02:25? Haha, oh dear...
VictusPrime At least it was not connected to a chain
***** hahahaaa
I think that Lori Alan, aka The Boss, will be a great interview! Thanks for the hard works guys!
The original Metal Gear Solid was released in 1998.
32:14 Yong getting ready to tell Daley to shut his face lol
Can you get Charlie Schlatter on The Codec? He's the voice of Major Raikov and Raiden in MGS3.
Good to know you'll be interviewing Guy Cihi! It's pronounced, "See-hee", by the way.
Daley's constant interrupting of people throughout these interviews really grinds my gears.
Pretty sure Yong hates Daley, just watch Yong's facial expressions whenever he speaks.
Tristan Jones Yeah well that's simply not true.
-Yong
YongYea For Metal Gear Yong?
YongYea lmao
YongYea Ahaha, that would have been the possibility for a sarcastic answer Yong. You missed it. ^^
Tristan Jones Hate is a strong word. It's more like occasionally annoyed, if I had to guess.
24:04 Yeah... *click click. Mhm, yea... Sure... Right... Sure... Sure... -YongYea 2015
Oh and 39:25 made my life
Nobody 61:61?
Nobody There is a serious lack of scissors though.
ItsThatGuy13 I'm pretty sure that's one of the main reasons why Jim Piddock did not reprise his role. Quite frankly, I'm concerned as well. If there won't be any scissors, than I can't do a raw blink on hara-kiri rock
Then try to do a Hara-Kiri on Raw Blink Rock. Maybe it'll work.
Zero: I'm not gonna be the bad guy.
This man is a total pleasure, just like the character! XD
great interview! you guys bring some great and insightful questions!!
he Snake Eater theme, is just the best way to start.
Yong, could you share the links that you shared with Jim about Zero?
So is this the guy who didn't reprise his "role" because of the "under pay"? I would do that just for my love for the series if ever I was Major Zero. But like what this interview showed us, he doesn't give a damn about the character, he's all in it for the money. Heck, he just even knew now that his character was one of the Major (see what I did there) villains in the MGS series, when Yong asked him about it.
tonertonki Not everyone is going to accept a job if they feel is not well payed and that's totally fine.
tonertonki he's not a gamer though. he's doing it as a job, not for his love as a series
TheRabbitFear Yeah, it makes sense, my thoughts exactly.
tonertonki It almost sounds like you're implying that he's in the wrong here.
tonertonki in the end, it's a job dude.
Too bad…
So all staff members of Kojima are "not" working with Him Anymore? :-o
NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO! !!!!!!!!
TryHARDBlackGuy No
baicaibangx It was real since their corporate report documents and logo removals. Seriously, what "reality" do you guys live in where official reports are falsified "just to fuck with YOU" without Konami facing any kind of corporate lawsuits from shareholders? Kids these days are so ignorant and can't tell reality from fantasy.
Bit surprised you don't know when MGS came out, but I guess a heat of the moment thing.
MGS1: 1998
MGS2: 2001
MGS3: 2004
Time stamps in the description, awesome!
I think Daley does a better job than he's given credit for.
nice, you picked my question.
Daley is the worst thing about these interviews. He won't shut up and all he does is fanboy it's extremely unprofessional.
Great interview! Jim is such a nice person.
Cam Clarke next please
YongYea The description you da' real MVP ! (even if I'm going to watch it all)
LOVING THE CRYSTAL PALACE TEA CUP!!!
BEST CODEC INTRO EVER !!!
I still can't believe he is the "well you're blek" guy from Lethal Weapon 2
Can't wait for the MGS V E3 201 trailer analysis.
He's so talented. Damn shame Konami didn't do right by him. But hey, It's an opportunity for someone else.
- Let us not hate.
CODEC LIVE IN FLORIDA?!?!?!?!?!?! whaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! I need more info like wow.. *mind blown*
Somebody's gotta make Yong's Rocket Punch an actual video. That would be hilarious.
I'm surprised that Major Zero will not be as seen in the game, I hope when Yong finishes his trailer analysts he should include Zero's new voice and that he won't be making an appearance that much. Also damn cassette tapes
RB Hobista Zero is in hiding, so why would you see him? besides if Big Boss did meet face to face with Zero, why wouldn't he just kill him?
cookieface80 They're friends or if not they have some respect with each other, Zero would have left BigBoss to die, but injected him nano machines and made him a symbol when Solid Snake burned him.
Ok he is a great voice actor great interview guys
I noticed you usually only interview voice actors, change it up abit and interview Donna Burke or Harry Gregson Williams.
Daley sounds like such a fanboy when talking about the voice actors
Any news for the interview with the voice of Kaz?
41:52 YongYea I see what you were trying to find out there, very impressive :) ;D
They have also been in contact with DSP for an interview....
*Rant incoming*
Ok i have seriously lost my interest in these interviews now for one reason... Daley... he is just ruining the potential these interviews have, he tries to hard to establish himself as the front host, his questions run on far too long, one sentence is enough to explain the question, not a fucking paragraph!
I just cant deal with listening to Daley anymore
*Rant over*
Reply with any feedback or whatever I'm interested in what people think, at the end of the day this is just my opinion :D
Agreed
Why doesn't Yong put his interviews through the mgs reddit.
he's like an old James Bond. i wish he was my father XD
I like David's voice in the old games but in a game looking as realistic as MGSV does I just don't think his Snake voice would match with the visuals. David Haders snake voice doesn't sound like a real person I just don't think it would work to have something looking so real with the main character having such an odd voice.
Who are you?!
After hearing Kiefer Snake then David Snake it took me a little while to get into it but after I did I can't picture the old games without David and the new one without Kiefer.
ironic how much Jim loved X Men, that was written by David Hayter
21 pages on a five minutes trailer? HOLY SHIT that's crazy
i actually enjoyed the new voices on the silent hill 2 remaster. i did also play the original on ps2. i didnt see any problem with it and i don't understand why people were mad.
yong you should interview lori alan
FoxhoundVnzla Yes, Yong should. ALONE. Without being dragged down by a couple of lumps of dead weight...
Major Zero has lines on Portable Ops?
Emin Yavuz That's what I was thinking too. From my memory, it was Snake, the CIA guy, Gene and I think Ocelot at the end. It's bee a while though, but I don't ever recall Zero ever being in Portable Ops.
when you choose him for gameplay, he does
So he is like undermining the video game industry as "low" when compared to movies.. Yong Yea
"Spread your ears and listen, may god be with you" lol
0:00 What does "Aux" means? Just curious.
Auxillery
Why You didnt make him say "This wolrd will become one i have found the way...."
He did it in another recent interview with the channel Metal Gear Central you cant watch that one.
RELAX onTHC just saw it and man was that the most awkward interview I've seen but then again it was their first time conducting an interview.
And apparently those were the guys they were talking about at the end of the video who accused the codec of copying them....
+steunwell low sales in Japan!? a Kojima game!? how is that possible?
As someone who has never played any of MG, my hunch is that the English dub for MGS1 was completely outsourced, & while KZS is fantastic, there was no reference to the Japanese audio involved. People act as if voice isn't part of character - but if Homer Simpson magically spoke with an ultra-light voice in the next episode..shit would be odd.
Snake (&Liquid, & Raiden) were cast with much lighter voices in the English dub, & I don't think Kojima was ever a fan of that. & with all due respect to Hayter, he simply never *really* took off as an actor, whereas Akio Otsuka's resume is an embarrassment of riches.
who is precisely the replacement guy? (speaking of Zero)
***** I don't believe it's been announced yet, only 51 days to go as of this comment to find out though.
Why is Yong joining together with these two other people if they've got so little subscribers compared to him?
Ramboedah Seriously. Come on, Yong. You can do better.
Amazing
He's doing what he loves and that's obvious, but when you work in arts and start to think like "well, the pay is really unfair but I love what I do, so I'm taking what I get", companies are going to fuck them and other actors over like there's no tomorrow. Actors have agents just so this doesn't happen to them.
I can't say anything for certain without knowing actual numbers, but if Konami isn't respecting voice actors for the work they do, they are the last people who should be receiving any "freebies" from artists.
wow... Meryl is next!
nice interview... too bad he's not major zero in the phantom pain.
mgs1 came out in 1998, mgs2 came out in late 2001 and mgs3 came out in late 2004.
Will you interview Hideo Kojima
Yong's a a fucking pro in these videos, Ronins okay i guess, Daley, well, he has no real idea as to what he's saying.
Yong. Que nos daran por haber jugado graund zeros en TPP con el savedata y sigues pensando que venom es bigboos? Para mi es solidus o gray Fox.saludos desde México. You can answer in english.
So when are you guys gonna interview kris Zimmerman already ??? ;)
The REAL Zero.
