They were written by Bruce Vilanch for Bette and suggest some of the material Tucker used in her act. Tucker was never that explicit on stage. She was more suggestive.
Those Soph jokes were always hilarious but they are even better now than she's a mature woman. Since Sophie is elderly, it just suits better. :'D Love Bette!
