Yay another video. I relaxed my hair 2 weeks ago and I followed all your relaxer prep and relaxer day tips. Today I had my post relaxer treatment. I'm looking forward to a video of your diy relaxer day.
Thank you so much for this!! I have had a relaxed hair all my life, did a big chop 2 years ago then tried going natural but I j didn't like it. My hair has never grown past shoulder length though and I always attributed it to our ethnic hair. You have inspired me to start a healthy hair journey and see how it goes... I am super excited!! Please do a favour about your once a month routine when you do use heat on your hair.
Yay! Good luck on your hair journey. I don't tend to straighten my hair myself these days as I usually get it done once a month at the salon. I can try and record the next time I get it done x
Your hair is always on point. I have questions for you for those of us who are prematurely gray. My gray started as a teen forty four years ago. I do have to relax my hair because as you well know, gray hair has a mind of its own. Would love to hear from you.
Hey i really love ur vids..to me ur a very nice person and i enjoy ur hair vids because im a relaxed girl and i want to go through this journey together. Can u please do a 'speed up hair growth' video or something like that please.bye😙💓
Recently came across your hair care videos..and I love them! I started using the As I Am products and they are really doing wonders for me. Thanks for the tips, and your hair looks great! Hence why I believe you🙂
I remember you mentioning the Mielle avocado milk moisturizer in the past as a good hair moisturizing cream And I have used it and love it as well Would u recommend using the Mielle as a substitute for the As I Am product for LCO?
They both have different uses. I use the growth oil directly on my scalp or in my deep conditioner as it's pretty heavy. The mix i'm using in this video is light enough to use on the length of my hair without weighing it down. x
Want to try this method as hair feels a bit crispy and dry 2 days post washing but could I use the ORS Shealicious leave in spray as the liquid which I love as part of your wash day routine ?
It depends what look you're going for. I texturised my hair before relaxing and although it made it more manageable it still had a lot of texture to it.
I wouldn’t use the lco method straight after relaxing since I’d be wearing my hair straight. I start introducing the lco method when I’m a few weeks into my relaxer stretch when I’ve got some new growth x
Well no, you wouldn’t use the lco method if you were trying to preserve your straight hair as it will revert. It’s best used if you’re wearing braidouts/twistout/buns etc x
That's exactly what I do for my hair I use a leave in conditioner and seal it with castor oil. I have low porosity hair I guess so I need to moisturize then seal in the moisture right away.
I would usually braid it or twist is which reduces the frizzing. If I were to spray it with a hair milk and leave it, then it would just be frizzy/revert x
I love your videos so so so much. please don't stop uploading anytime soon!!!
Wow... your hair is really growing! It’s so healthy, moisturized and looks incredibly soft 😍
Thank you!

Get rid of that belief that black people cant grow hair. So not true and anti black. Your diet also matters too.
Great advice for relaxed hair. Nice to see another person with healthy relaxed hair
Going to try this method when going to the gym.
Thank you 💜 I hope it works for you x

That’s so sweet, thank you 💜
I remember you mentioning the Mielle avocado milk moisturizer in the past as a good hair moisturizing cream

Sure, you can substitute for a moisturiser of your choice. If it’s a product that usually works for you then this method should simply enhance it x
Really enjoy ur videos. Your hair is gorgeous.
Thanks for watching 💕
I will be trying this PRONTO!!
Which do you prefer your hair growth oil or the oils you're using now
They both have different uses.

How do you make your hair silky and slay all the time
Can you recommend another liquid leave in conditioner. The conditioner you recommend is not available where I live.
Love your hairstyle. How did you achieve the style?
Thanks! This was a quick braid out, I have a tutorial on my channel x
How often do you use the LOC method?
I use it as and when I need to. I moisturise daily so I’ll alternate between the LCO method and moisturising and sealing.
Healthy Hair Junkie ok, thanks for the reply.
How did you get those waves/curls at the beginning of the video?
I braided my hair in two, I have a braidout tutorial on my channel x
Great video very informative
Health and beautiful
Is it worth it to use a texturizer? I’ve been doing anything and everything for my hair yet nothing changes;it stays soft yet frizzy.
It depends what look you're going for. I texturised my hair before relaxing and although it made it more manageable it still had a lot of texture to it.
Do you LCO every week after relaxing or everyday ?
I wouldn’t use the lco method straight after relaxing since I’d be wearing my hair straight. I start introducing the lco method when I’m a few weeks into my relaxer stretch when I’ve got some new growth x
Girl, your lip color distracted me from your beautiful hair!! What lip are you wearing, please?
It’s Sleek makeup matte me liquid lip in ‘vino tinto’ x
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching xx
How often do you do your wash days?
I shampoo once a week and I’ve just started cowashing mid week x
I love ur videos💜
Thanks for watching 💜
I don't know how I could wear a flat wrap every day doin this it seems like it would ruin it?
Ms. Melanie a flat wrap??
@@HealthyHairJunkie yes just a flat ironed look
Well no, you wouldn’t use the lco method if you were trying to preserve your straight hair as it will revert. It’s best used if you’re wearing braidouts/twistout/buns etc x

How do you naturally curl/wave your hair? I’d love to see some hair tutorials
Hey, I have a tutorial on this coming soon x
Just subscribe to your channel, you have beautiful hair thanks for sharing! 😊
Thank you 💜
how do you keep your hair from frizzing? my relaxed hair will frizz if i add leave in or something with water to it while it is dry.
I would usually braid it or twist is which reduces the frizzing. If I were to spray it with a hair milk and leave it, then it would just be frizzy/revert x
