Diana stated in an interview that she would only sing this song once a day because it is so emotional. She has had many performances of this song over the years. She once said, in a concert at St. Petersburg, that one could say this is her calling card, for at each event it's requested.

You are absolutely right. She experienced a shock as a child. Her mother was an alcoholic. Bottles and different men are constantly at home. Diana wanted to eat, her mother cried, beat her and even broke her collarbone once. And once I almost drowned her in the bathroom. When Diana was 4 years old, she left her at a bus stop where a relative found her and gave her to an orphanage. The girl was taken in by a woman. She immediately started calling her Mom. She took her to vocals, it turned out that the girl had talent. She encouraged her vocal lessons Diana liked. This entry in the contest you are super for children who are left without parents. She won she was given an apartment in Moscow as a prize. She remembers this childhood and was afraid even to live in the city where her own mother.
Diana Ankudinova was only 14 when she first sang "Dernière Danse", sometimes known as the Joker Song. This performance took place on February 10 2018 during a talent show for disadvantaged teens called “You Are Super!”. Diana’s voice for a 14 year is low, deep, and rich and she sounds so much older than she is with such a truly unique timber, profound sound, and colors that are hard to describe. In 2017, at age 13, her vocal range was measured from a low of D3 to a high of A5, and for a girl of 14 to have a voice with this kind of sound and with this level of musicality, vocal control, and stage presence is truly amazing! You can see Diana drop into a character, looking scared but she is not scared at all. Diana Ankudinova is a real stage animal, and she was getting into a character. You can see by looking at her face she is there, she is now into that character.

Long story short, she was abused and abandoned at 3 years old by her biological mother and was placed into an orphanage. There she found her wonderful, loving adoptive mother (Irina Ponik). Young Diana was traumatized from her experiences and couldn’t speak, so she took singing lessons and discovered passion and a special affinity for music.
You can tell pretty clearly that she sometimes channels her past into her songs in order to create a huge emotional impact. In a way, it was a blessing because those circumstances, however tragic, have shaped her into the amazing person she is today

Это проект на тв для детей, оставшихся без родителей, там почти у каждого сложная судьба. Поэтому так важно помочь именно этим детям. Диану воспитывает приемная мама.

That is a shortened, high energy version she did for that competition show You Are Super. She has sung this song many times - there are several longer versions available, too, if you are interested. You can't hear it so well at the end of this performance, because the audience is clapping, but she finishes with a short outro - in the longer versions she does a related intro, as well.

Где-то у себя в норе пишущему свои кривлянья на камеру ради копеечки (монетизация от просмотров и рекламы) для таких дураков как вы. Алгоритм простой. Вы правы.Так глубоко,проникновенно чувствовать может человек , который действительно много пережил в раннем детстве.Когда ее забрали от непутёвой матери,в детдом ,у нее постоянно текли слезы,так рассказывает ее приемная мама,удочерившая ее позже.Ее приемная мать работала в этом приюте или детдоме.

Diana was abused by her birth mother and was abandoned at age 3 at a bus stop with physical injuries. She ended up in an orphanage and was unable to speak due to her emotional trauma. At age 5 she was adopted by a lady called Irina who raised her along with her own daughter, and encouraged her to sing in the hope it would aid her recovery. The rest is history as they say.

At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on RUclips. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of RUclips 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers.
Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Diana Ankudinova sings mostly in Russian, English and French. She has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and Arabic. Brandon, I agree this young girl has experienced much more heartache than most kids. I read her back story of physical and emotional abuse as a small child. Thanks God living in the Russian orphanage she found a new mother to love her. Diana draws on her past emotions during her singing performances, but she doesn't let it define her life. She not a victim, she's an overcomer using her past experiences to create incredibly POWERFUL performances. She's an amazingly and talented young singing artist.

Yes, fans of the The Joker film in India used a remix of "Derniere Danse" as background music for their memes - hence "Joker Song". Just to be clear, the song is not part of the film's original soundtrack, contrary to rumour.

Diana Ankudinova has a beautiful story that starts terrible. The woman who gave birth to her (Diana, in translation, refers to her as “the biological woman”) abused her terribly. But Diana got to an orphanage around age 4 and was adopted by an amazing family that helped her grow to the confident happy kind and generous young woman we know today.
Interestingly, she began singing lessons to help with speech troubles.
