- A multitude often gathered to hear Jesus preach. Some enjoyed the miracles and being part of the crowd. They were attracted to what Jesus could give them-but soon they opposed what His teaching demanded and deserted Him. Turning to the end of John 6, Alistair Begg explores the crowd’s reaction, Christ’s explanation for it, and the apostle Peter’s subsequent declaration. At some point, everyone who hears Jesus’ teaching comes to such a crossroad: we either decide to continue in life without Him, or we believe Him, submit to Him, and find eternal life.

I was raised in church, but never taught more than Jesus loved me. Thank you pastor Begg. Because I can hear God's voice past yours. You have not only taught me so much, your sermon is what pulled me back to Him. Fully, completely. Thank you for following your calling. I know there is more people out there who really need to hear it too.

Ask, seek, knock, and He will hear...I experienced a spiritual encounter when I was lost, and cried out from the depth of my soul...help me, I don't know what to do...Jesus heard, and He came. That's his promise...sadly...my salvation cost me everything..marriage, job, ending up homeless...but Jesus word sustained me through it...ministers don't want me talking about it, and reject me and my testimony ...but I continue to tell people, Jesus promised to hear the cry of the lost..and His word is true today..as it was when He spoke them. God Bless .

Jesus give me grace and endurance this Christmas. As a single mother my number one priority, are my sons. Both of them are autistic so they require a lot from me. God give me strength as I struggle to provide for them. My faith in you is still strong! Even as I struggle to pay rent every month and I struggle to buy groceries for my children, I KEEP FAITH in you LORD. Jesus hear my prayers I’m so overwhelmed and discouraged because I’m also battling lupus and have heart issues. Lord give me strength because I want to give up. 😢

I was drugged and molested by a family member multiple times as a teenager. The result was a life of PTSD, decades of clinical depression, a long string of suicide attempts, and around a decade of IV drug use. I thought I'd never be free from the emotional and psychological scars. Christmas was always the hardest time of the year.
I turned 50 in September and it's looking like this may be the first Christmas free of everything. I can smile and laugh again. Actually looking forward to Christmas!
Your situation is certainly far more challenging than most others face. But if you can stay firm in your faith and trust, God will most certainly reward you!
Don't be afraid to pray big. He just might surprise you as he has for me many times through the years.
