    After RUclips suggested another video where some dude was saying traditional martial arts did not work, I remembered those monkey, snake and drunken boxing videos I saw a long time ago and went to check them out again
    What a delightful surprise to discover new videos in the same style on his channel!
    It's really good to see kung fu applied in a modern setting.
    I would love to see videos were you spar, I'm very curious to see what looks similar and what looks different from other styles.
    Thanks for breathing so much life into this style that I love! Keep up the good work!

    Chin Na is like a world in itself I love it. There are lots of worlds in Kung Fu.
    And then there is the big western social world. Where people are debating and fighting about what is the good martial arts and bad martial arts, but I don't listen to them. I know what is when I see it. And sometimes it is the ones they say are bad, that are actually the real ones.

      Unfortunately alot of people out there give opinions when they have little to no experience. It's a shame. To me, all those people talking crap are just noise. Thanks again for watching and supporting 💪🤙🙏

    The guy that taught me is insane at this and a tiger style specialist. Basically human Tai Lung. This is what can make an eastern style the absolute devil to deal with.

    I'd like to see the bjj response to this

    • @HangmanActual

      2:06 I've seen this shoulder-lock-leg-sweep a couple of times in both gi and no-gi. I think it's a good technique to take advantage of the bent-over posture most BJJ guys automatically get into. I've used this move two or three times when the opportunity presented itself, but I don't look for it because I think it's hard to set up. Although a Judo black belt did blast me with this once.
      5:35 I find this wrist lock unrealistic. Student has both arms just chillin. Any good grappler will reflexively pummel in immediately from that position and *not* go for that bicep grab at 5:45. But there is a Aikido sparring (yes, real sparring) video where some nice wrist locks can be seen.
      7:30 This block-to-elbow-lock has been shown ineffective ever since MMA found RUclips. Additional supporting evidence - every arrest video where any sort of elbow lock is attempted and failed, even with 3 cops vs 1 resisting suspect.
      7:50 Basic arm drag. Every grappler has used a variation of this. I think the proceeding elbow attack would work, but I'd prefer either taking the back or omoplata. "But if you go to the ground in a street fight-" Step over for a standing armbar or kick the head and disengage.

      @HangmanActual I appreciate your input.
      You have great views on these techniques. All these techniques have been pressure tested and done during Sanda and continuous fighting. They don't work all the time, but that's why we have many skills to choose from when fighting opponents. Thanks again for watching and accurately giving your opinion. 🤙🤙🤙

      @@HangmanActualthe technique at 5:25 totaly works, it's just a low precentage technique, but sometimes when the stars align it can be a great surprise that gets you a great armbar on the ground
