When the whole garage is yelling in support, on their feet, hugging each other and not caring about the camera, you have a great team/mates/culture/family.
Keep in mind, all those boys out there are traveling almost the entire year, they work hard in the garage, they work out in the gym for the pit stops, they build up and dismantle all the gear, they work long hours to fix the cars and most importantly, they are away from their loved ones, their families. Most of these mechanics have been with Max since the beginning of his Red Bull career. It's like watching your son/little brother grew up to be a champ.
Actually, he had a very bad cramp in the right foot, very painful. And probably the reason he slided that much with perfectly super fast tires. On the other hand, he was driving a qualifying lap. All out. He did the same in his pole lap. Could be on purpose.
I've rewatched the end of this race more times than I can count, and every time is as exciting and enjoyable as the last. Best season, race, and lap of F1 since I began watching 7 years ago. More excited than ever for next season.
Every single one of them: man, woman, old, young, everyone played their crucial parts in making history and flipping a new page in the F1 books. Their friends and families must be proud. Congratulations!

The ending might be controversial but that decision was not made by the drivers. People should never ever take anything away from both drivers, they could both have won it and both would have been deserved. But in the end there can be only one. Whats left are the memories of an absolutely crazy intense season where a lot was going on between the teams and drivers both on and off track. do not care who you are that is one magic moment for the hard working crew. if you do not like it you do not deserve to call yourself a F1 fan.
Pf. My heartbeat went up as if it was the first time I watch this final lap.
Incredible, just amazing.
I honestly had tears in my eyes when I watched it live. I'm Dutch, seeing him win really meant a lot to me. I still get chills when I watch the last lap.
This is one of those things that you will never forget, I can't believe I got to witness such a big moment in motorsport history. And the way Checo was defending from Lewis was amazing to watch, he made this possible.
I’m turkish, but my reaction was even more enthaustic than the pit crew😂 My teenage kids couldn’t understand what is going with me and why I’m flipping out😂😂
@@Tegneaufreak Oh I had it there too but this was another level for me, he achieved his biggest dream right here.
I’m English. I can’t tell you how much i love Max’s driving style. I was literally in tears of happiness on that last lap. He has put life back into the sport. The Dutch must be very proud and so you should be. Wonder if he could be knighted. Sir Max.
Max is Belgian. He's on loan to you guys from us. Enjoy 😆
@@ecalap31 Lewis is English. You can have him if you like.
I still... To this day. Can't believe he did his than signature small drift in the last corner. The legend.
That drift wasn't intended, he had horrible cramps during that lap because of the stress.
the happiness on their faces is priceless, specially when it's the first time for most of them I'd imagine
so happy for them. imagine how boring mercedes wouldve been for their 8th title in a row
This is what pure happiness looks like
I've watched it many times and will continue to watch it > 2023
Its the strenght of these men, that made this astonishing victory possible!
"Did you just assumed their gender?" - Lewis Hamilton, probably
"strength"? "astonishing"?
way to choose the wrong words.... it cant be worse
@@edan2629 Why do you hate them? They have done a great job.
Chills, goosebumps, anxiety, stress, elation all rolled into one epic moment!!
I feel so lucky and sad at the same time to realize I will probably never ever feel this excitement again about a sportmoment!
These guys... seem a touch warmer than Toto Wolff's crew celebrating their Championships 🥳
It means they probably well deserved it. Really happy for them all... pit-stop kings! 👍
Generally people are happy when they receive gifts and unhappy when something is stolen.
Most people are less happy when they get robbed, than gifted
@@PercyVTS their much more happy than the merc crew. they win a title because they worked hard for it and dont get it gifted. even more rewarding than getting it gifted like merc.

What A joke.
@@SIRICKO jesus christ let people be happy for others

Is it normal to know Croft's entire speech by heart? Man, it gives me goosebumps every time
When the whole garage is yelling in support, on their feet, hugging each other and not caring about the camera, you have a great team/mates/culture/family.
Keep in mind, all those boys out there are traveling almost the entire year, they work hard in the garage, they work out in the gym for the pit stops, they build up and dismantle all the gear, they work long hours to fix the cars and most importantly, they are away from their loved ones, their families. F1 is a team sports after all, I have lots of respect for their passion and they truly deserve this!
This is still giving me goosebumps, what a mesmerizing finale !
i think ive seen about 20 povs from max winning now, and it never gets old, i get goosebumps everytime, so well deserved and what an incredible season for max :)
I think working there is such a special experience. The bonding and drama you get must be incredible. It's really a "us against the world" type of situation. Just a group of individuals that grow into a family over time.
Well,Max is really a different breed. While everybody jumping in happiness after that overtake,he already moving across the track to break the tow. And how he smoothly defend the inside line is beautiful. He knew that Lewis straightline speed is rocketship
THAT POWERSLIDE AT THE LAST CORNER EXIT MAX OUR HEARTS ARE ON OVERDRIVE ALREADYYYY
He said he got cramp on his right leg throughout most of the final lap and had to hold the pain to the finish line.
Incredible sight to watch these mechanics being so happy. This championship battle was something I will never ever EVER forget for the rest of my life. One of (if not the) best title battles we have been witnesses of in Formula 1.
Me and my mate were screaming the house down at this moment. So epic. Best final ever.
People can complain all they want about the SC period, but we got what we all wanted, a wheel to wheel fight to the end for the championship and the championship finishing under green.
I must have rewatched this finish 40+ times from different POVs, broadcasts and reactions. Incredible finish from 2 incredible drivers
Complete fix. Debacle, a travesty. Darkest day in F1 history.
A lot of time passed, but I still become emotional when I watch this again
The purest and best moments for the mechanics who work very hard the whole year round!
The people I saw in this video are all genuine, filled with passion, and that's enough for me. Maybe it's a bit controversial, sure, but this is racing! I like Hamilton, but how can you not happy with Max and Red bull team. Congrat!
Most of these mechanics have been with Max since the beginning of his Red Bull career. It's like watching your son/little brother grew up to be a champ.
I will never forget the feeling that I had seeing max becoming a world champion, I will remember always in my life, because that was magical
That was a world Champion race for the ages.
That was disgusting*
I still have goosebumps seing this "zig-zag" technic just after the overtake. Soooo badass! Haha
“It’s going Dutch!” My favorite phrase from this race.
Ok
Together Everybody Achieves More......TEAM. Thats the Red bull spirit.
Everytime it gives me goosebumps!!! Once in a lifetime race!
Sensacional! Parabéns a todos do time! Eles foram fundamentais para a vitória do Verstappen!
ለመደመር አመሰግናለሁ
Obrigado Latifi. 🤣🤣🤣
Os tomates. Fundamental foi o Masi...
That slide on the very last corner...........
🤯
Over the limit Over the edge driving.
Yes that slide max controlled. It was icing on the cake.
Actually, he had a very bad cramp in the right foot, very painful. And probably the reason he slided that much with perfectly super fast tires. On the other hand, he was driving a qualifying lap. All out. He did the same in his pole lap. Could be on purpose.
He does those quite a lot. His drive in Sochi had so many controlled slides. Dudes a beast at holding the car
@@kingjames6928 yes. More like it.
this is a moment that has a place in f1 that will never be forgotten.
it's passion and beautiful TV and you can't copy it.
thank you masi.
the pure emotion on their faces…. priceless
I've rewatched the end of this race more times than I can count, and every time is as exciting and enjoyable as the last. Best season, race, and lap of F1 since I began watching 7 years ago. More excited than ever for next season.
This is up there with the 2007 and 2012 Brazilian finish maybe even suzuka 2005
When I first saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes. I just couldn't.
One of the greatest racing moments of all time.
Well and truly.
One of the greatest laps in F1 history 🏆🏆🏆
Every single one of them: man, woman, old, young, everyone played their crucial parts in making history and flipping a new page in the F1 books. Their friends and families must be proud. Congratulations!
I had so much heart palpitations watching the race when it came to this lap. Then watching this footage multiple times gives me chills again
Mercedes garage view on last laps please... 😁
MICHEAL NOOOOOOO!!! 😭😭😭😭😭
Unreal footage. One of the most exciting last laps ever.
As a dutchman, this was the most heart pumping adrenaline rushing sports moment I have ever seen. Such a heavy season full of rivalry and tension ending like this was insane.
You can see the pure emotions in their eyes! Just amazing!
Whenever i watch this it give me goosebumps. This had to be the moment of the year, 2021.
I swear watching this live was cardio training, insane. Still gives me goosebumps to this day
Respect for the cameraman who didn’t watch the final lap just to give us the images
The pure excitement, proudness, hope, adrenaline… all simultaneously. Such an ‘esprit de corps’!
The best moment in motor racing history in memory.
Verstappen is honestly the reason why the last seasons of F1 are Exciting again. Like otherwise every race wouldve been "Get in there lewis"
If there wasn't lewis it would've been only max winning with a superior car all the year long, what's your point
@@pianortd4800 I'm not talking about the constant winning of Max. All I mean is that I'm glad that there is at least some competition who can actually get on Lewises Level

And the brits are still crying about it LOL
Goose bumps!!!!! Epic conclusion to an epic all year-round battle!!! Go Max!!!!!!!
A season like this should be apreciated because they are rare when 2 drivers are so closely matched that it will go all the way to even the final lap of the season. For me both are Legends.
