    My partner and I just returned from our trip here and it was just the most incredible vacation we have ever taken. Stayed in room 1304 and had the most perfect blend of ocean view and treeline privacy. We were bubble bathing on the balcony and absolutely feasting on the stellar fine dining. Staying here also grants you access to all their parks and you get VIP treatment, so we were able to bypass every single line and even had our own personal guides/hosts. Trip of a lifetime, we were so bless to go! Friendliest staff on earth.

    I stayed there last week for 7 days. I chose room 3101 it was one the biggest room approximately 130sqm with private access to the beach. It’s a been a week since I left that magical place but I still cannt believe the luxury quality of my stay that I experienced. Food staff and the arts are second to none. I will definitely visit there sometimes soon next year.

    I will be traveling to this resort soon. It looks amazing, but how are the beaches and do you have access to the beaches at the neighbor properties? We are booked in a beachfront room, but wondering if there is much to really walk out to or if we should save a few bucks. Thanks so much!

    • @JourneyWithHeather

      There is one swimmable beach, but it's on the small side. The highlight here is really the pool. You do have access to the beaches and activities at the other resorts in the complex.

    I found this place beautiful as well. They just know how to do customer service here to a T.
    However, I find you get so much more for your money at Xcaret Arte (same complex). Instead of spending about $10,000 (CAD) for 7 days with 2 people, it would be $5500 at Xcaret Arte (you get your own butler there as well when you stay in the Artisas casa). Also at Arte, you get access to the other hotel next door as well. Cant beat that.
    For those reasons only, I wouldn't spend that kind of money to go here again

    • @JourneyWithHeather
      @JourneyWithHeather  2 года назад +1

      Well, they're two totally different experiences. Arte is wonderful, but it's much more of a traditional all inclusive. La casa is a true luxury resort and is meant to be more high end. Plus, you do get access to all facilities and classes at both Arte and Hotel Xcaret when you stay here (but you can't access la casa unless you are staying there).

      I am with you Heather! I was at CDLP last week and although I did visit Arte on two occasions during my stay, I definitely found my self wanting to go back to CDLP. I think the experience at CDLP is more private and refined just as you said. I wouldn't compare the two really.

Should I be tipping The Butler and anybody that helps me during my stay or my transportation? I've seen a couple videos about this hotel and nobody really talks about tipping.

    We are planning to stay at La Casa de la Playa and booked a beach access room. We're now thinking of changing to a beach "view"...it looks like the access rooms have no clear beach view. Care to comment on that Heather?

    • @JourneyWithHeather
      @JourneyWithHeather  2 года назад

      If a view is important, you definitely want beach view. The access rooms will be on the first floor with no view other than palm trees.

    We are looking here for our honeymoon, thanks for a great video! We really had our hearts set on Arte, but our dates aren’t available ☹️.
    If we visited Arte while staying at Casa, is it a hassle or super quick to get there? Also would we be able to get drinks and food there as well? Or is it only facilities / classes that we could access.

    • @JourneyWithHeather
      @JourneyWithHeather  2 года назад

      It's easy to get there because there are private cars/drivers for you to use when staying at Casa. You can visit Arte to take classes and see the shows, but not to eat, I'm afraid.

    • @JourneyWithHeather
      @JourneyWithHeather  2 года назад

      @@FrinkyDizzler Not at all! The good quality at Casa was much better than Arte. I found the food at Arte to be middle of the road, but at Casa the food was artfully crafted and delicious. Much better than big buffet style restaurants.

    Hi Heather! Thanks for the great video. You have helped us seriously consider having our honeymoon here this October. I have a couple quick questions. What is the best way to book our stay here? (Directly from their website or is it better through some travel agent or Expedia type of company).
    We were wanting to stay at Arte but they are sold out. How close is Arte from here? And it’s my understanding we can go and use all of the amenities all inclusive (besides 2 of the paid restaurants).
    We are hoping to book our trip soon. Thanks again for the video and looking forward to hearing from you!

      Hi Andy, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I may be partial, but I always believe you should use a travel agent on any vacation. ;) We can guide you on best choices for your family, as well as help if anything goes wrong. I'm happy to help with your honeymoon if you'd like. Just email me at Heatherg@mei-travel.com
