I got composite veneers 24 years ago and all I've had to replace is a little chip in the front tooth just recently. And apart from that I drink coffee I smoke sometimes I eat what I want and they still look good after 24 years.

Katie Mobzzz They are definitely cheaper. You’re looking at around $6,000-$16,000 for 22 teeth depending on where you go. Porcelain veneers are 20,000-35,000 plus. Lol it’s insane. And I paid under $3,000 for mine. Crazyyyyy. The states are ridiculous!

I recommend people to watch the work of Dra Alexandra David in Armonia Dental Bogota (she is very professional and specialized in dental aestetics and strategic implantology) I live in the states but always do my dental work in Bogota Colombia (3 hours direct flight from Miami)

Yeah that’s true bc they look good as heck but I’ve watched so many videos on them to where one girl veneer literally broke off and she had to get it fixed....Then they said you have tenderness for a while or it’s just sensitive and you gotta learn how to chew with them 😳😳😳 Thats a lot of side effects for a perfect smile not to mention they must be redone every 5-7 years which is equivalent to fake boobs 🤷🏽♀️

My composite veneers costed 1600 euros for 20 veneers (hollywood white) and i got alot back from insurance.. why is it so expensive in the US? By the way with 3-4 grand you can get real porcelain in turkey ( for the people that dont mind to travel)
I guess it’s like anything else u can get your hair done for $100 and go somewhere else and get the similar style from another stylist that charges $350. Never heard of vaneers that cheap tho.
I am so into travel to Turkey for a teeth makeover !!! May I ask you if you tried it in Turkey ? Because where I live wich is France, it's really really expensive to create a straight smile and my teeth are not straight at all
Dar LA r 972 i know someone who got veneers in turkey (dental center turkey) but they prep your teeth to little stubs so its irreversable.. you can never go back to your own teeth so keep that in mind. And you will have to replace them every 10 years or so.. so if you got the money to replace them every 10 years i’d say go for it.. if your teeth can be fixed with braces try that first. I had a nosejob in turkey in my opinion they are the best in rhinoplasties, veneers and hair transplants and alot cheaper too
The teeth are a investment love & if they did only last 10 years I say that’s well worth your coins. Plus By then you should be living a more productive lifestyle & be able to afford to get them done again & if not just start saving & put ur money away early for your future teeth procedure. For people that are not that financially stable or have too many mouths 👄 to feed could start saving the min u leave the clinic. Basically wat I’m trying to say sis is if there’s a will there’s a way for it to be done if it’s really a priority to you.

I chipped for a total of 8 teeth during the first month I got the veneers. Doc told me because I grind my teeth during sleep but I don't think so. Sometimes if I accidentally grind my teeth too hard during weight training it chip. Last night I ate pop corn and their was an unpopped one in my mouth and guess what? Were they suppose to be this vulnerable? or I just went to the wrong doc?

I just got some veneers, have a follow up in about a week or so, I'm wondering if they can shave at the back of the veneers cause it is throwing off my bite and the point of contact is more towards the front where the veneers are but behind the teeth, it's a little more bulky.
The warranty thing is great but sounds sketchy.God forbid anything happens with the doctor. I would prefer a warranty that can be transferable in case you can't return to that specific doctor

Pretty sure porcelain veneers DO NOT last a lifetime. However they shave so much of the tooth down underneath for porcelain veneers, that when they do eventually need replacing and you can't afford thousands again, you'll be left with nothing but kitten teeth. Huge risk.

Were you able to get the "bite" adjusted and if so, what did the Doctor do exactly?
Yes he did it on the follow up the next morning. He just adjusted the shape to make it bite down comfortably. Took about 5 minutes.

Pretty sure porcelain veneers DO NOT last a lifetime. However they shave so much of the tooth down underneath for porcelain veneers, that when they do eventually need replacing and you can't afford thousands again, you'll be left with nothing but kitten teeth. Huge risk.
