I applied in Canada as I was there at the time. Using a VPN is always a good idea in my opinion if possible!

Hello! I believe they give the same audio clips to everyone regardless of whether or not you are Native, but you have the option to cancel the job if you don't know what they are saying. I recommend looking at my tutorial on Crowdsurf as there are more jobs available and the audio is quite easy to understand.

What is a pedal used for?
Some people use a pedal so they just click on the pedal with their foot to go back instead of typing in hotkeys on their keyboard. It's not mandatory but can be helpful if you want to transcribe faster!

I successfully passed the exam and was hoping to get my account activated only to be told I had violated some rules and as a result, my account had been blocked. I've read their instructions several times and I honestly have no idea what I did wrong. Can you help?
I am not affiliated with the company in anyway, so I recommend contacting them directly at their support line and asking what the issue is

No caption jobs, sorry! Crowdsurf has some, a mixture of both transcription and captioning. I have two tutorials on them on my channel :)
I realized you ended your settings with a punctuation, didn't it say we are not to do that?
Only leave out punctuation for the very last word of the sentence in the file.

I don't believe so. You'd need to claim it as income from self employment. I am not an expert on taxes though as I use my bookkeeper.

Does it automatically assigned you a job?
Yes, it puts you in a queue and you get automatically assigned work. Although you can skip a job if you don't like it.
