I would love to see Hoppipolla doing a cover of Melted by AKMU. The instrumentation is perfect for them and I can imagine I’ll and Hyunsang singing it beautifully. Not to mention seeing Su hyun’s reaction to them singing her song.

yes, now "Hoppipolla" is their band name(Korean name is 호피폴라) , they love sigur ros so much, hope their music can healing people like the song "hoppipolla", and they will release debut album this year. "About Time" is their first original song, u can find the mv in my playlist.
A absolutely love this version but I kinda feel like they are cheating because there are drum sounds (3:15 - 4:00 and 4:55 - 5:20) but no one is playing the drums on stage. Don't get me wrong, they are still amazing and I adore their music but isn't Superband about actually playing the instruments on stage and work with what you have instead of using a backing track to sustain your sound. I'm just very irritated at the moment.

I'm not totally sure because I haven't really watched all episodes fully yet eso this performance but one thing I know is that Kim Youngso (their guitarist) mentioned that he quite knows how to play the drums (specifically in Ep. 4 when he was teamed up with Nau and Woosung coz they didn't have a drummer). Or scene 2 they pre recorded it with all the other sounds heard in the song. Or 3rd which prob ain't possible, used free beats found onlineand mixed it in with the arrangement (I'm just guessing hehehe just to kind of satisfy our curiosity). But I do believe that they always use their original sound otherwise they'd be disqualified I think :-) sorry for the long message hehehe
This is the case with quite a few of the performances on Superband. In some of the videos about the group and their preparation you can actually see the process of them recording different sounds and adlibs that will play in the background while they play all of the live stuff on top. As far as I’m aware, they prepare all of this themselves beforehand (unless perhaps they ask a member from another band for help with an unfamiliar instrument or something). Not every band can have a DJ like DPOLE to physically press buttons during the performance that create the sounds.
