Marinary - That and the Strv series have low-caliber guns. I think it's 105mm for the Strv 103B.
105mm should still overmatch 30mm. I think it might have hit the gun breech?

Just checked, the cheeks of nailed track pieces on the front are the only place where that shot could have bounced clean off, coming from almost 90° left. That was spectacularly unlucky for the swede.

That's me in the Udes. I had no damage in that game and the battle was winding up, so I went ham just to accomplish anything for that battle. I expected to land on the SU-130, instead wound up with that lovely full twisting backflip into perfect firing position.
FYI "Akuto" were bands of warriors that would harass the Samurai clans during their feudal period. An Akuto band could very well be poor farmers with little weapons or training, so learned to be very sneaky. So if you take an underpowered tank (Udes 03 is OP at long range but almost useless at short range) and crash through a wall on an unsuspecting SU-130's head, that is very much a Sneaky Akuto.
I love the 6th Sense pops up as you land on the other tank. Spotted...ya think?! Thanks for the laugh. :)

Pretty sure this has been proven wrong given that the phrase predates WWI.
that is one suggested explanation for the term, but has been proven debatable due to the reasons Steven Zhao pointed out. there are some other suggestions for what it might mean, which i can't remember atm, but nobody knows for sure where the phrase truly stems from.
Actually the phrase has been dated back to the mid 1850s, (Albany NY) In 1907 it was used as an idiom in a Indiana newspaper
There's a wikipedia entry on the phrase. No concensus on real origin but this explanation ruled out. Least worst explanation is the length of fabric in a kilt, but even that isn't very strong. May just be idiomatic.

It is only om very rara occasions that heavy tank players understand thd role and importance of their teams's TD's.
Mostly the rush forward, go to far, go over the ridgeline and then blame the TD's for "camping".

But then, most players nowadays are barely out of their diapers so it is much to difficult for them to u derstand basic team tactics.
You used the artwork from the world of tanks blitz final. They glitched the grille out of the map and it just killed everyone.

Watching this video and listening to your commentary on the gameplay increased my iq by a few points.
Some of the most ridiculous games I've played on WotC came in the Grille aka Norbert! Had a 2v5 last stand inside Himmelsdorf, as well as a 3 v 6 Last Second Reset on the cap and Clutch win for our platoon on Steppes.

Just a little fun fact--
the thumbnail of this video commemorates the time when a player named messi in his grille 15 was boosted up into an otherwise unreachable position on the map from where he pretty much single handedly won them(his clan called RA1D if I'm not mistaken) the game and 100,000 dollars (or was it $50,000? Crap I don't remember)during World Of Tanks Blitz Twister Cup 2018.
I saw it happen live and it was awesome.
It's kinda funny though cuz that wallpaper was designed by WG themselves and it kinda glorifies the loopholes in their map designs.

Same thing now with the FV 4005. gun stats to good so nerfed in the mobility department. If you want to be great with either learn to work with those constraints

I bought myself a T110E3 and I generally don't play tds, so just for the campaign missions, it goes 23km/h, tbh any heavy which is not a Maus overtakes u, so no keeping up. I absolutely despise that mobility after the WZ-111-5A and AMX 30 being my fav tanks...

RA1D vs Ace Ventura, WoT Blitz twister cup finals 2018. Game openly exploited so hard that WG makes a camo and a splashpage out of it. It's legendary.
Actually Jingles, the 103B didn't bounce off DJ's hull. If he did you would have seen damage blocked, so he likely hit DJ's gun since he didn't damage any external modules.(Guns usually don't get damaged by 105mm guns in 1 shot unless they had been hit already)
Had a similar game yesterday in my amx 30 but lacked the quality team behind me and the skill to pen enough key shots, resulting in a loss. After a 9-5 deficit, I got it back to tied but was fighting 3 at a time over a k3/ k4 hill on redshire with 2 arties at me as well. I did not carry as hard as DJ here and only contributed about 7.5k combined and was all over the 1 to 0 line. I think the furthest North I got was B9 before coming all the way back to the SW. Best wishes to all still slugging away in WOT. See you out there...hopefully in my reticle. :)

actually jingles, the Grille 15 rarely rolls the nominal damage with its shots. Any replay I watch is like -50 damage low, +5 damage high and my own Grille 15 feels like 690 average ...
I tend to put Signal Boosting as one of my TD Radio Operator's skills, just to be able to "see" further, spotted vehicles.
Likewise, I tend to place the Relaying radio skill, possibly as my artillery's second skill, to boost friendly tank destroyers ranges. Which most likely will be in my radio range.
When I play the Grille I tend to like abusing it's speed to flank. Makes for quite fun gameplay and spectacular deaths, but I most often do quite well, the enemy seems to most often be rather surprised by the sudden appearance of a GARGANTUAN gun firing them in the arse.
That last screen is why I can't bring myself to even begin playing WoT. How can you do that well in a battle and LOSE credits? The fuck? I'll stick to WoWs, thanks.

Perfect side of the target to shoot at really?!? The shot at the IS7 was unlucky, but he could have improved his chances by shooting at the flush side of the tank, not the angled beak. As for the T110E3 im sorry but this was just a bad shot.

That's about right for the EBR. Go unspotted and still get pasted for most of your HP by some twat in a TD.
"Speed is defense" is one of the great lies of WoT right there with "arty can't hit you if you are in cover"
The only time speed has ever saved my life is when I'm on low HP and had to get across a gap with an enemy tank sitting there. Any other time speed is supposed to help you 1 of 3 things happens
1. Some twat in a TD still snipes you from an unreasonable range.
2. Some twat in a SPG smashes you from across the map. Not splash. Not tracked or wheel blown own. Straight up slammed in the face directly
3. MM has put you on mines and loaded every other fast tank onto the enemy team thus making the hill push pointless.

This is why I like WoWs; yeah, stupid stuff happens, but even then I can actually run a profit in a T10 ship by just doing decent.
The reason why jingles doesn't feature stealth TD's very often is the same reason why jingles doesn't feature passive scouts very often.
Grille 15 is really not the right example for this description, Grille is not boring, its really fun to play for a tier X TD, and you can play it agressively, and it can brawl with the heavies in the city. You just need to know how to play it. The right example for a boring bushwanker is the swedish tank destroyer line, which is impossible to play any other way than to wank in the bush, now those are boring tanks.

The Grille 15 is so boring. Only reason there was to go past the tier 8 was because of the WT E100 but this thing is so not worth it. The tier 9 is ok but the borsig WT is probably the only one that is worth while getting to. They should have left the WT E100 in the game and just changed its clip makeup instead of giving us this boring meh tank.
With the lock down the gaming servers are getting pegged. War Thunder had over 120,000 online at one time a couple of days ago. making that money!
TD's aren't boring, they're just very very good at social distancing. Not as good as arty though, they stay a whole map length away from each other.
He lost money because he spammed gold the entire first half of the game. Which is why he couldn't pen the WZ and the IS-7 noob was spamming heat into their tracks.
The normal gameplay of this type of tank destroyer is so boring. I would rather play arty where at least everyone want to kill you bc they think you are a coward sitting in a bush. While other people put their tanks in front of the enemy, all the time we sit at the back and farm dmg... Wait was I talking about TD or Arty just now...? We both fire down range. How the shot gets to the target is the only difference. But WOT hated the random deletion of someone's tank by some unseen force hiding in a bush.... Yada yada ... If you are going to hate arty players for playing their long range roll, throw the same at the other dirty slum lords you still let kill you in one shot.
I love playing these types of TDs but your success is largely determined by the map and the teams. DJ beautifully played to the strengths of his tank and held an advantageous position to punish anyone pushing. Its just if you're stuck in a position where you need to brawl or constantly getting spotted, you're going to die quickly. This usually happens when your team completely ignores a flank or the frontline gets melted. You get cornered trying to make the best out of the situation while the armchair corpses start berating you, calling you a camper and telling you to uninstall the game. Doesn't matter if you get good damage and have a respectable performance on the post screen.. If you're not actively dying with your team then you're actively listening to them bitch as they find someone other than themselves to blame for the loss.
The grille is awsome but the bush mechanics on console hamper its stealth. It never gets old when you harvest 750 hp from an opponent. Try brawling in town for laughs so funny.
Could we see more replays like S. Conqueror who basically won this game not grille? We need more replays where not the kills but positioning, spoting wins the game.

See Jingles, you say these are bush camping tanks, but I like to treat mine as a support vehicle with that lazer aim time and hefty AP shell. It works quite well on some maps
