  • In an episode of MythBusters, rocket engines were mounted to the roof a car with a total mass of 3200 kg. After firing the rockets, the car was traveling on horizontal ground with a speed of 32 m/s. It hits a ramp that is inclined 22 degrees above the horizontal. Assuming the magnitude of the car’s speed is the same when it hits the ramp and it takes 0.1 seconds for the car to get on the ramp, what is the magnitude of the average force the ramp exerts on the car.
